Greetings from Cincinnati...

Unread post by Sweetgrass Moon » Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:56 pm

Hiya everyone,

I've been visiting the Luck Mojo website for many years, just reading and soaking up the info. Several years ago I ordered Ms.Cat's book, but I've yet to order any other products yet. I guess I'm really good at the studying part but need to get better at putting what I know into practice.

I come from a background of Catholicism, so I really like New Orleans flavor Hoodoo especially. I dabbled in a lot of witchy things when I was a teenager/young adult actually, most of which has fallen by the wayside now. But my deep interest in conjure has always persisted. So I think I'm just gonna roll with it...

I look forward to getting to know everyone and being a part of this community. :D

Hello, Sweetgrass Moon! Welcome to the forum!

As you very well know there is a lot of information on the forum and on the Lucky Mojo site. I do encourage you to give some of what you have learned a try. Studying is great and it only stays in the head which builds knowledge. Though to apply what you have learn gets it into the muscles and thus develops wisdom. :)

Welcome Sweetgrass! I am Catholic ... and very new too. Glad to have you! I burned a few candles and have had great results. The candles remind me of the ones we light in church, but colorful and dressed with oils. I have also had great results from cleansing my home with the Chinese Wash. Give some of this a try - then let us know what happens. :)

Thanks for such a warm welcome!

I am slowly starting to do some work. I forgot how much I love the smell of sage and so I've been on a smudging spree lately. The cats are less than thrilled.

Cool! I'm glad there are others out there sorta like me. I've burned a few candles, although I can't say I've gotten any great results yet. I'm gonna get some frankincense incense too, then it's really gonna remind me of church. :)

And I do plan on getting some Chinese Wash in my first order. I need to do a thorough deep physical and spiritual cleansing of this place, I just know it's so full of bad juju. And then put some protections in place so nothing can get back in. My husband just started a new job, so I have to wait a few weeks before we have the extra money. The first order of business is to set up a prosperity altar! Oh, and I'm very interested in learning to work with my ancestors and want to set up an altar for that.
