Hi, I have been curious about the occult for some time, but had never gotten serious about practicing until recently. In reading through the materials on line and in Cat's book Herb and RootMagic, I found a thoughly presented system that was well layed out. Living in the south I have gained insight by reading about the tales and trials of the people who stories were contained in southern spirits. I hope to make new friends in this community and learn the craft. After taking some time to absorb the material from the books and materials i have received over my five purchases I hope to petition to Cat for entrance into her correspondance course. Looking forward to being a peer with the members here.
Side note do you think Cat will offer her Candle book in hardback?

Hello FelixS, and welcome to the Lucky Mojo Forum!
As for Miss Cat's new book, The Art of Hoodoo Candle Magic, it will not be printed in hardcover. Check out
The Art of Hoodoo Candle Magic Book Questions and Answers for more details.

Thank you for welcoming me Papa , jwmcclin , and Dr Hob!
I have picked up some books to fill out my libary; Mules and Men, Master book of Candle Burning, Spell/Hex/WitchCrsft, The BlackPullet, and of course Hoodo/Herb/Root Magic. Would any recommend any other titles I should add to my short list to read?
For those that completed the course any recomendations for me to prepare before taking the correspondance work?

I'd suggest Draja Mickaharic's Spiritual Cleansing, and Jim Haskins' deceptively titled Voodoo and Hoodoo.
Regarding the course; reading Miss cat's Hoodoo Herb & Root Magic, and her online Hoodoo in Theory and Practice will pretty well get you set to take the course.
