Amazing site
This is an amazing site. I just joined not long ago. I got an email saying basically, "You joined, but you haven't posted anything..." It was saying, don't be a lurker, say something! haha. So just stopping by to say hi. Honestly, I responded back to that email saying that the problem is the website is so awesome. Every time I log in to post a question of any sort, when I visit the appropriate forum, glance through a few posts, I find that not only has my question been answered already, but several very knowledgeable answers have been given, so I have a thorough understanding of what to do, etc. Literally, I'm left "speechless," lol.
This forum, and Miss Catherine's main website, are historical treasures that should be archived (maybe in book-form --? I have seen people archive an entire website before...) for future generations. There is so much information in these sites that touch so many levels --Native American history, African/African American history, energy working of all imaginable kinds, deep history of religions like Catholicism, Vodoo and hoodoo all their many variants, notable individuals in all those subject areas ...I mean, this is just amazing.
Ultimately, my goal is to buy some products, use them for a while, take Miss Catherine's course, etc. But I am not in a rush...I am so enjoying the journey! And these websites are a big part of that, thanks. In the meantime, I just thought I'd post this to introduce myself, and well, just post something so the admin doesn't boot me off, hahaha. I'll try to think of questions to post that haven't been asked and answered, but in case I don't, please know that I am enjoying this site and will try to make some positive contributions to it as I can.

Formally welcoming you, Cali_Mojogirl!
Welcome!
Yes, everything about Lucky Mojo is amazing, I agree!
And I also agree about a book!
You would LOVE taking the Hoodoo Correspondence course. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed it and how much I have learned.
Anyway, I know that you're not new to the forum but, just in case you're not familiar with everything, here are the main sites and some forum rules.
Enjoy and, hopefully, we'll see you in class!
These are links to general information on Hoodoo and to give you a jumping off point.

Herbs:

Conditions and how we can address them:
http://luckymojo.com/hoodooataglance.html
Here is some info on how the forums are set up. It is divided into four parts:
1) News and Announcements about the Lucky Mojo Curio Company and this site.
2) Lucky Mojo Spiritual Supplies and how to use them, listed in threads by product type and product title.
3) Life Conditions and Situations, with recommended Lucky Mojo products, spells, and advice.
4) The Online Hoodoo Community, including sites, events, and outreach sponsored by Lucky Mojo.
When you post, it helps your moderators, who are recompensed volunteers, if you post in the area of the board that is best suited to the archival of your question or comment. That way moderators will not have to move your post or merge it into ongoing threads.
If you can't find a post you made, it may have been moved or merged. Go to your profile by clicking on your name and "search recent posts" -- you will find it.
Within each board section there are STICKY threads -- ones that always stay "stuck" to the top. These are popular discussion-threads that you can read and add to if your questions or comments fall into one of these oft-broached topics. If you don't see a "sticky" that relates to your question, feel free to start a new thread in the relevant section.
We do have a few "thou shalt not" rules here, and they can be found in the Forum Rules link at the top of each page. Most important for newbies are these four common errors to avoid:
1) Please do not come here asking for our formulas for conjure oils or for instructions on how to use spiritual supplies that you bought at a grocery store or at a competitor of ours; this is the Lucky Mojo Forum and is financially supported by the Lucky Mojo Curio Co.
2) Please do not spam the moderators by sending multiple duplicated private messages asking for personal help outside the board; many of our moderators do perform readings and rootwork spell-casting for clients, but they are professionals and you should approach them as you would any other professional.
3) Please do not post illegal copies of material from other web sites or from books.
4) Please do not post put-downs of any group of people based on their religion, race, or national origin, including derogatory comments about religions to which you may have previously been an adherent or comments in which you seek to falsely conflate any religion with the practice of evil sorcery.
Welcome!

Seriously, I know what you mean. I've been reading the Lucky Mojo website for nine or ten years now and I haven't finished it yet.
Already in progress -- as you can see from these titles:This forum, and Miss Catherine's main website, are historical treasures that should be archived (maybe in book-form --? I have seen people archive an entire website before...)

Re: Amazing site
Cali - I totally agree....everytime I have a question, I pop onto the board and I find the answer. I then book mark it so I can go back to it.
I love this site. It is a huge wealth of information. I wish I had known about this site years ago.

Re: Amazing site
Cali_mojogirl, I agree with you the site can be 'overwhelming'. When I started pursing the site, I fell in love with the like minded thoughts of the various forums. I have learned so much over the years, that is why my tagline says "I am proud to be a Lucky Mojo moderator'

Re: Amazing site
.
Thanks you all for the warm greetings! And thanks Miss Aida for the site navigation info.
I listened to Sunday's Blogtalk Radio show. Reeeeaaallly enjoyed it all, from the panel discussion, to the 3 ladies' phonecalls and the wonderful advice given to them, to the spell advice at the end. I found myself doing research on everything, and I took notes. It really gave practical insights I could put to use in my own work. And I feel like I got to "know" some of the featured LM workers, which was nice. I look forward to future shows.
This site should win some kind of award.
It really is amazing.
Thanks again.
