Sprays and Spritzers Made With Waters and Washes Questions and Answers

If you were to take a conjure oil, or water mixed with bath crystals, or something similar and spray it like a perfume onto things, objects, amulets, papers, would that work as a way to fix that thing with the power of the oil?

The word "spraying" has two meanings. Some mean to put it in an atomizer, mister, or spray bottle and pump it. Others mean to put it into the mouth and expulsively spray it from the mouth.

You can certainly pump-spray the bath crystals that have been dissoved in water, just as you would a perfume.

I would not recommend placing any conjure oil or bath crystal mix in your mouth, however. If you want to use the mouth-spraying technique, then make a herbal infusion instead.

Sooooo Im thinking maybe a could make Spritzers or air fresheners from bathe water of a few products and have them on rotation for these hot heavy summer months, maybe one love, one for money/success, one for personal power etc. Has anyone tried this? if so how many blends have you used at one time? I would like to use 6 blends for one of my spritzes, would that be overkill or would it be Ok if the intent is in magical alignment? Any advice/feedback and rec's much appreciated.

I was out for my early morning walk when I had an encounter with the RUDEST most OBNOXIOUS man who would not make room for me to get past him in my walking lane   :( . Living here in new york you come across some real interesting types but this guy left me feeling REALLY, REALLY pissed    and I didnt want to ruin the rest of my day. So normally I would quickly sage myself or burn nag champa to lighten my mood but I decided to take the last of my Jinx Killer bath crystal packet, heated up some water, after the mixture cooled I spritzed myself from head to toe including the bottoms of my feet. Instant refreshing and calm. The scent is now dissipated but now Im wondering if its possible to turn the LM oils into a light perfume/spritzer by using perfumers alcohol for longer diffusion. :geek:

I do this all the time. I have a spray bottle that I have specifically infused with different oils. I don't cleanse it out, I let the spirit of the oils that have come before it (since they're not in direct conflict with each other) inhabit the bottle. It usually consists of Healing, Tranquility, Van Van, and the occasional other.

I do this too, but I think I will have to switch to using oils mixed with water or something, and just shake them up before using. I have one spray bottle of hyssop water that I like to use after doing dark work that is ongoing and a bottle of van van water left from a bath. But they both clog horribly :( I thought I strained them as good as possible but they still clog. So I may just start using oils.

I used to make my own rosewater spray from rose oil and springwater but it never mixed properly so I always ended up with a clogged spraybottle and uneven diffusion.

Yes, I fill my bottle with bottled spring water, shake, and find it works fine. I've had this going for some time now, to the point where sometimes I just fill it with water and don't add more oil, yet the scent from my previous applications still linger. It's nice.

Edit:
When using the lucky mojo oils, I'm careful to not let the herbs fall in- this can jam the spritzer.

I use a 3-way incense blend: Lucky 13, Psychic Vision and Earth Smoke. I don't think Lucky Mojo has Earth Smoke in oil, so I'd have to use a prosperity oil that harmonizes with the other two. Hmmm....

I was thinking of buying some bath crystals, and dissolving them in vodka to use as spritzers. (In particular, I want to do this with Fast Luck bath crystals, so that I can spritz my clothes and pray for luck before going out every day.) I like the idea of vodka because, due to the alcohol, it'd dry faster and be preserved longer.

Think that would work well? Thanks!

I think the smell of vodka will not dissipate and will probably get you in trouble if you happen to get pulled over while driving. Use spring water.

heartexalted, i think that emjae is right -- Vodka will make you smell like a drunk! Use Hoyt's Cologne as a base and add the condition oils of your choice. Hoyt's mells great in its own right, has a traditional place in hoodoo as a lucky perfume, and has enough alcohol in it to dry rapidly.

When the 'leftovers' in a spray bottle sit around for a while, they start to smell a bit rancid. It's only dissolved bath crystals, but I suppose the herbals and the water mix together and go bad after a certain time. It's not a pleasant smell, so I'll make a fresh batch. Is the funky part that I already spritzed null and void? That is to say, will it not have the desired effect?

I made a spray out of hot water and Fiery Wall of Protection crystals. At first, it was working perfectly, but after only a few sprays, the nozzle is clogged. Has anyone figured out how to unclog, or a different way of making a spray? In the meantime, I am considering just using it in its liquid form by touching it to things.

Hello, Metalina ,

It's probably clogged from the herbs.

When we put them in spray bottles, we usually string the water first and then use the remaining herbs that are caught in the strainer for something else.

Wishing you the best

I always put the bath crystals into a muslin tea bag and soak in spring water to dissolve them. I then pour the water into the spray bottle. This way the bits of herbs in the bath crystals get filtered by the tea bag and the spray bottle nozzle won't be clogged.

I love the idea of using Bath Crystals as a spray! I'd like to put aside a set amount of water infused with the appropriate bath crystal (or crystal combos) and periodically refill the sprayer as I run out.

How much water do you think would be adequate to blend per one packet of bath crystals? I read that some people can get two or even three baths out of a bath crystal packet, so does that mean you could use around 4 gallons per HALF of a bath crytal packet?

I'm thinking that 4 gallons would be a close proximity to the amount of water needed for a bath. So, really maybe make a gallon, or two at the most to elevate the fragrance of the bath crystals. Basically how much water do you guys use to make your sprays?

Fragrance is a highly individual experience, Sanntiago. Some people need a strong concentrate to smell anything at all. Other scents are, by their very nature, quite fugitive, while some last for a long time. I encourage you to experiement. Start with a teasoon in a cup, then in 2 cups, and so on. And remember, what is "right" for Road Opener might not work the same way, given your individual nose, for Peaceful Home.

The nose knows!

If I made an herbal spray with my herbs in a teabag (maybe like a 13 herb bath) may I keep the teabag in the bottle or should I keep it in and then take it out and THEN use the spray? May I also additionally add some florida water?

Hello, Shutter

I have no idea what herbs you used. What you made it for. And therefore cannot tell you if you can add Florida Water

Leaving a tea bag in the spray bottle? I wouldn't do that. it's going to become way too concentrated and your tea bag (if made out of paper) may break

Wising you the best

I want to do spell works for the purpose of increasing my charisma as to influence the people I come in contact with at work to an eventual promotion to a director of the facility position. I was wondering if I could start out with steeping the various herbs/roots (ie. john the conqueror, calamus, licorice, catnip, orris and lovage) in whiskey/rum then mix this tonic with come to me, crown of success and fast luck oil? Afterward use the oil/alcohol combo as a body spray? Thank you for your advice.

Hello, pida ,

Honestly, I have no idea how that would smell, and some of the roots are a little coercive. I am also questioning putting the oils into that mixture and wondering if they would mix together.

Why not just get the bath crystals and mix them?

Would LM oils (a few drops) mixed with Florida water, rose water or Hoyt's cologne (as bases) be a sucessful way to make a spray mist for certain purposes? (ex. come to me and look me over oils in rose water) or fast luck in hoyt's cologne?

I anoint myself with a personal mix of LM oils every morning as I say my prayers and head to work. My work day is separated by an hour break then onward to a different house. Recently I've taken to announcing myself again halfway through the day, but am turning into an oily wreck. May I add oils to holy water, shake and spritz myself with prayers in the afternoon as a pick me up instead?

I have a bottle of holy water/Florida water/blessing oil/frankensence I do the sign of the cross with twice a day and pray, but id like to also do a spritz for the other conditions.

Thoughts if this is a good idea/supplementary for a second oil annointing?

Hello, Shutter ,

Why don't you instead spritz yourself with diluted Bath Crystals with the conditions that you need. You could actually use Holy Water n the mixture of dilution.

There are Blessing Bath Crystals and all other types of conditions:

It would be a lot messier!!

I actually had buying bath crystals on my to do list and KEPT FORGETTING AFTER EVERY ORDER! Well I'm currently making my newest order now so I'll be putting those together and getting some spraybottles to keep cool in my car/alter/spiritual and transportational vehicle. The one thing I think will be good about a cold midwestern winter will be that I can keep bath crystal solutions chilled so they don't spoil!!!!

Hi Shutter,

They shouldn't spoil but they can freeze in the bottle if the weather is too cold.

I love diluting bath crystals in spray bottles for a quick hit of spiritual energy on me or my environment (home, office, car). I keep them handy, and happy to hear you're doing the same. See what they can do for you.

Good luck.

significant,

You can use oil in a spray bottle mixed with water as you have suggested. Shake the bottle before spraying to mix the oil and water as they will naturally separate. Pray the petition as you make the bottle, over the oils and as you spray.

significant ,

I dont think you need to add a whole bottle of oil to make a spray. You can go to the dollar store and get a bottle that can be taken on air planes (small) and do a few drops with oil. You can also increase the effects by taking herbs related to the work, brewing a strong tea/bath praying it, let it cool, add the oil to the final tea/bath and use in the bottle.

Usually I do a protection type working for my house each week to keep evil at bay. I don't want to attract negative spirits. I do this because it's important to have some kind of protection if you're going to work with the spirit world. I boil rue and sprinkle the water around my property.

1) Should I cleanse my home before I do so?

2) Do I need to clean my entire house or can I just spray a cleansing herb Infusion around my home.

3) Would hyssop be okay or is that only for cleansing yourself for spiritual baths

Re: Sprays and Spritzers Made With Waters and Washes Questions and Answers

Posted: Sun Jan 12, 2020 2:42 pm
by catherineyronwode
Dear ,

1) Spiritual Cleansing is done at whatever rate you usually clean you home, with, for most folks, a special New Year's or Spring cleaning. Protection can be renewed at any time as well. Only if your home is spiritual unclean AND you are under attack would you have o do both at once. We often recommend to new clients -- whose situations and conditions are not completely known to us -- that they clean first and then protect, but for regular clients, a regular spiritual cleaning and regular protection pattern, if kept up, should be all that is needed.

2) A cleansing herb Infusion will be fine if your house is physically clean.

3) Hyssop is to remove one's own sins and uncleanness. See Psalms 51. One need not be hyper-scrupulous about having sinned, but Hyssop is often used as an additive to regular cleansing herbs like Lemon Grass, Pine, and the like, on the off-chance that one may have brought some bad conditions on oneself.

Hey all,
I just wanted to share that a traditional way to make laundry spray is to mix the oil with alcohol, then dilute it up with water. I think this would probably prevent the spray bottle from clogging as the oil separates out. For my part, I've just ordered a laundry sprinkler cork with the intention of using it with a cleansing or banishing water outside on our property. Will post observations :)

Could sprays replace actual baths if you don’t have a tub?

Like if one was supposed to bathe in water, could one take a shower and spray oneself down with the mixture and have the same effect as being submerged?

Re: Sprays and Spritzers Made With Waters and Washes Questions and Answers

airredones --

That is a good question.

The way i see it, if the bath was for cleansing, a spray would not work. If you fall into a mud puddle, you don't spray yourself with perfume to take the mud off.

However, praying or spritzing can have a good effect if you are adding something -- a love spray can be as powerful as a love bath. The two canalso be combined, of course.

Good luck.
