How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I happen to have a job where I touch thousands of pieces of mail. On an older show Miss Cat told a customer looking for love that she could use a love drawing powder in her business, dressing the items she mailed out to send her wishes out to the world.
I have money drawing items, and was thinking about how I could possibly use them to send my money wishes out into the world - would that work in the same way? I would definitely use love drawing when that time comes and don’t want to pass up an opportunity to add on to my money work.

Miss Cat discusses this on the Money Drawing products on how to dress and train money to draw it to you. In the above example the person is dressing mail she is sending out with her name on it to people to circulate love, your suggestion would be dressing other peoples mail and sending it out, I am not sure if it is the same concept.

Hello LM Forum,
Does LM sell Lucky Spirit sachet powder, as in an all purpose positive formula similar to Lucky Spirit Incense and Special Oil #20?

Thank you, JayDee!
Maybe creating a blend with some of those would be a good idea.
LM sachet powders are truly wonderful and versatile products.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Good Afternoon Lucky Mojo-ers!
I will soon be flying home to see some family and help my Elderly Father with some things. I foresee myself wanting to put together a bottle spell or two while I am there. I will be taking my nice collection of LM oils and powders along, but i am leaving my herbs and such at home.
Are sachet powders sufficient to create effective bottle spells? Or, is it always encouraged to include additional herbs, etc?
I really appreciate your help and input!
Blessings,
Tyler

Genies_Lamp,
Both are acceptable uses for a bottle spell, it really depends on the intention and what is driving the work. I would not personally do a love spell without rose petals but that is me. Miss Bri discusses bottle spells, one she made years ago and is found in the Black Folder, mixing herbs and Lucky Mojo incense together. However this jar cannot have anything burned on it.
Perhaps bring a few herbs that relate to the work that interest you.

Thank you JayDee for the reply!
Although I would normally tend to use more than just powder in such spells, I do appreciate knowing that it is acceptable to do so. I will probably do what you recommend and bring along a few applicable herbs as well.
Specifically, I would like to create a few protection bottles - one to bury by my dad's front door and perhaps one for my sister as well. I have Lucky Mojo Fiery Wall of Protection Sachet Powder. I will probably combine 2 or 3 herbs along with that for the protection bottles.
Does that sound good? Any other suggestions are most welcome.
Gratefully,
Tyler
PS I have the black folder. I will check out the spell you mentioned. Thanks.

Sounds great, I would add a St. Michael prayer card to the jar, then bury it to protect them. If you have a personal item from them, add that to the jar, being its a container you may opt for a footprint.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
Good Morning.
How can this technique be applied to tasks where your resume/document is applied/uploaded online?
"When turning in a job application, manuscript for publication, or essay test papers, that is submitted in the form of printed text pages, dress each page individually with Crown of Success and/or King Solomon Wisdom spiritual Sachet Powder. Here's how: On the back of each page, sprinkle Crown of Success Sachet Powder. (You can also use a makeup brush to dust it on.) Drag your four fingers down through the sachet powder, top to bottom of the page, in "wavy snake lines." Then shake off the powder. This is called "dressing a letter" or "dressing papers." To increase the power of the dressing, light an appropriate incense powder and waft the entire set of pages in the fumes before sending it out. This is called "smoking" the letter or papers."
Thanks in advance.

Hi Humble,
You have a copy printed out that you dress. If you dress one it also applies to the online version. You can burn a yellow glass encased candle as well on the paper copy also. I you are using incense you can have digial copy of your resume up, and blow incense at the screen, or wave your phone/tablet over the smoke. Just don't burn yourself.
Best of Luck,
Mr. Christopher

Thanks, Mr.Christopher. Does it apply to Boss Fix as well? Assuming the boss is not in the same city.
Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
humble ,
I am not Mr. Christopher, but I can give you some input. You can dress items that you will share, perhaps a document you submit, and dust it for the boss. During the holiday season dust a holiday card with the Boss Fix powder. Take a piece of paper, write out the petition, and burn it in a candle flame. When it cools, mix the ashes with Boss Fix sachet powder and blow the powder in the direction of the boss.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
I think there may be a connection between physical laws and magical laws, please correct me if I'm wrong.
A mojo bag of dust is often worn by mountain climbers, to prevent a slip, to absorb water and oil.
I learned from a hunter about using dust (and it is fairly common knowledge for big game hunters) that cattail fluff, dandelion seeds, and dusts show the direction of the wind, and how a person's scent travels. From my study of ninjitsu as a child, I learned that hollow reeds filled with blinding or hallucinogenic powders would sometimes be concealed in a person's mouth, and blown into the face of their enemies, or swallowed for suicide if captured.
I remember vaguely, seeing voodoo rituals and Indian cannibals covered in dust or ash. Dusts are very commonly used in women's make up, changing pigment, creating illusions, and concealing or accentuating features. For men they can be used for camouflage. Soft rocks can be ground into pigment, added to clay or dirt to create camo of different colors.
Dusts are also something used by animals to prevent lice and other bugs, they roll around in these dusts as a way to clean themselves, like a dry shampoo.
The police use dusts for finger prints, for tracking, and skilled trappers also use natural or artificial dusts as a way to find their prey.
Black powder, added to food, if I remember correctly contains salt peter, I sometimes get visions of young soldiers in the field eating gun powder added to their chili, to keep their libidos under control and their minds focused on the task at hand.

Thelightning ,
Please do not make new forum topics, there is a topic for every subject. I merged your post in the section on using sachet powders.
You seem to blend a few concepts together, In one aspect you are talking about dust, such as a sachet powder, or a dusting powder, in others, you are talking about plant material and dirt. In Hoodoo we separate them as sachet powders or dirt. For example, using Graveyard dirt or Goofer dust, which are used in Foot Track magic to harm an enemy, where a Love Me sachet powder would be dusted on a card given to a lover, or Fast Luck sachet powder dusted onto a lotto ticket to draw in luck with those numbers.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
This is general use question.
I'm an autistic person that does well with big picture sorts of ideas but can struggle in terms of coming up with practical solutions.*
After moving from FL to WA several years ago, I discovered it's very common to live in controlled access apartment buildings. Our actual front door is inside a hallway as a result.
If a work ever calls for placing powder at or in front of our door, how could I accomplish this without alerting others and, of course, inadvertently damaging the property?
"I say this comment specifically about me only. The greater autistic community has variation. I know this specific struggle comes from my autism.

Re: How to Use Sachet Powders: Questions and Answers
merfling,
Sprinkling sachet powders is a traditional practice in Hoodoo, it is related to contact magic, that as a person comes into contact with the powder it affects them. The sprinkling of powder is almost always done secretively so as not to expose oneself and allow the person to either remove the powder or reverse the work. The powder is generally not going to damage property it is a powder blend with herbs that is made into a fine powder. Many people who sprinkle often mix it with other items to hide the powder, such as dirt. In an apartment building, you may sprinkle outside where the person will step into it walking into the building (external doors), or you may use other sneaky methods such as dusting a newspaper and putting it at their door. You can try walking by slowly and sprinkling as you walk as well.

It depends on what the sachet power is made of.
If it is talcum powder, it is a mineral and will not burn.
If it is made of cornstarch, arrowroot, or rice powder, it will burn, but it packs down and is not well oxygenated.
Use Incense powder, which is sawdust based instead.
