Tickets are on sale now for the 2016 Hoodoo Heritage Festival. We have been meeting regularly since October, 2015 to plan this even and we believe it is going to be a great one! A group of church deacons, Lucky Mojo staff members, and HHF Volunteers have started the process of logistics, presenter line-ups, food service, planning the contents of the goody bags distributed to participants, and more!
Passes will be available for the full weekend event or just Saturday or just Sunday. There will be ten workshops, and you can read all about them at the Festival web page:
http://hoodooheritagefestival.com
There will be four new books released for the festival -- Crystal Magic, The Sporting Life, North Asian Magic and legends of Incense, Herbs, and Oil Magic.
Every year YIPPIE (the Yronwode Institution for the Preservation and Popularization of Indigenous Ethnomagicology) holds a fund-raiser book sale at the Hoodoo Heritage Festival. This sale offers you the chance to pick up very reasonably priced used books, pamphlets, CDs, and DVDs on occultism, divination, magic, religion, philosophy, and spirituality. We are putting out a call for you to send some donations to this event and help support YIPPIE. You can mail books to YIPPIE in c/o Lucky Mojo, drop them off in the YIPPIE office next door to the Lucky Mojo shop, or bring them by the weekend of the Hoodoo Heritage Festival and plop them down on the YIPPIE Book Sale tables.
We are also planning a Crystal Silence League table where you can pick up information on the origins of the Crystal Silence League and ways for you to get involved, as well as purchase books and crystals.
For more info, and to purchase tickets, see
http://hoodooheritagefestival.com for details.

Re: 2016: May 14-15 MISC Hoodoo Heritage Festival Workshops
Hi,
I attended this year's festival and it was wonderful. Many thanks for putting together such an amazing experience. Quick and probably dumb question: we got 2 little bones in the "swag bag". One was a teensy cat ankle bone (I think) but what was the other? Anyone?
Bright blessings,
sweetwoodruff

It was a cougar bone from Michele Jackson's bone reading class.
