Hello, mmb ,

In all honesty, I've never done that for petitioning.

The flame of the candle serves many purposes. One of them is to pierce the veil of this world and the spiritual world to get your message across faster.

I've heard of people using flameless candles as a way of having a perpetual light to honor them, but, not to petition.

My suggestion to you is that If your Mother doesn't like candles lit, then use smaller candles. The 4 inch can be lit everyday to completion while you are in attendance of it.

It's better than nothing.

Take care

I wanted to acknowledge Saint Expedite for coming through for me in such a short period of time. I started my novena to Saint Expedite last Wednesday asking for help with rent and bills and although I am not sure how I managed to get it all in time I did. It could only have been through his works! Also, I ended up getting enough money to pay my car insurance which is usually due the end of month first week of month and when I called yesterday to pay it the agent said its not due until the end of this month! Which is great for me and leaves me with money to buy my kids a Christmas tree!!!
Thank you Saint Expedite for all you have done to help me in my urgent time of need and all you continue to do for me. There are still 3 days to go and some other things I have asked for help with Christmas coming up and I am certain he won't let me down. Part of my offering to Him is to acknowledge and spread his name when my desires have been fulfilled. He works quickly! Thank you again Saint Expedite!!!!

Hello.
I ordered a st Expedite candle for my boyfriend back in June. Reasoning being he was petitioning for a dismissal of his dui charges as he was wrongly pulled over. We lit his candle at home where he could pray and write out his own petition. Well candle came out mostly clear but a lillt smokey indicating some delays. Here we are in December and he just got word that his case will most likely be dismissed officially by Jan. Question is do we pay st expedite now , or in January ? I wouldnt want to wait and offend the saint. Any suggestions are welcomed

I want to say thank you to Saint Expedite for everything he's done for me. It's been a long 2 years in nursing school and i finally graduated. You are such a benevolent Saint, and you have always come through for me. Thank you my Saint, it is because of you that I passed my exit exam!

I just wanted to Thank St. Expedite on the forum for pulling through for me again in such a short period of time. I asked for my children to have Christmas presents and be grateful, I asked to be able to have money in the bank to pay bills and I asked for new tires and I have received all of what I've asked for. Mainly the faith in my connection to God and his helpers that come through when you ask.
I am so thankful for you St. expedite!
Today I am repaying him by coming on here and acknowledging his works and by setting out his pound cake and a glass of water.
Thank you St. expedite for all you do to help me and others!!!
Love & Light,

Hello,

I was just browsing through forum about St. Expedite. I have a quick question about a comment that was shared by starsinthesky7:

"More circumstances is if this person you have not talked to for a while long Im talking like years. I dont know if it were here or another forum but someone wanted to bring back an ex from 5 years ago. Thats absurd. If you had absolutely NO contact with that person for 5 years, I dont even think a saint could bring back that person at that point."

Does this also apply to someone you see every day but haven't spoken to in years? (e.g. neighbor, school, job etc.)

Thanks in advance for the reply!

MISS CAT said something that I never thought of (and she's a GENIUS!!!):

"I love burning Saint Expedite candles because of the old-fashioned custom of using the candle glass as a vase to hold flowers in water after he comes through for you".

Hello.
I have a question about timing of payment to Saint Expedite. I ordered a St.Expedite candle from lucky mojo and i prayed for speedy assistance receiving a desired amount on my tax return this year. ( I was very specific on the amount i would like to make back) also i asked that tips and money would improve at work so i could afford to support my family comfortably in the meantime.
The candle finished burning today, and i just received all the items i need to mail off my taxes.
Question is since i have noticed a considerable upswing in tips this past week should i thank and pay him now or wait till i here word from my tax preparer? Partial payment, recognition and thanks, or double payment as options as well? Anything to not offend or take this gracious saint for granted.
Thank you for your help

Hello jenelle21,

Ultimatly this is up to you. If you feel the need thank him for what he has done already and ask that he please continue the work he is doing and make a promise to thank him with whatever offering it is you will use. Or you could just wait to hear about the tax return. Either way would be fine.

Peace~

Our prepared 8" glass-encased vigil lights come with a dressing of oils and herbs and will burn for 5 - 7 days, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.

If you wish to set a traditional Novena of nine days, you will either have to start and stop the candle (which can result in a smoky glass), or purchase two candles to run continually over the 9-day period.

Always practice fire safety when setting vigil lights. If you must keep them lit when you are away or asleep, be sure that no pets or children can get into the room with them, that they are not near curtains or flammable cloth or paper, and that you have a smoke alarm in your house. Placing lit vigils in the bathtub is quite common, but you must not have a shower curtain if you use this method. Setting them into a fireplace is ideal, as there is a ready-made chimney for them.

Please forgive my ignorance. I am not comfortable with crosses. Is there a St. Expedite for Jews?

eireguitar ,

Saints mostly derive out of Catholic tradition and canonize of a saint. I do not know of a Jewish counterpart, or one found in the Old Testament that one would pray to for similar results. Other religions have other spirits they associate St. Expedite with or pray to for similar purposes.

If you are interested in working in the Jewish tradition, you can look at AIRR homepage and find workers who practice and can guide you in magic coaching. I know of a few well known names on the list who are experts in the area.

Right now I am trying to recover from losing almost everything and now have realized I have to let my mother's side of the family go because of what wwas just done to me...

BACKGROUND INFO

I was staying at my sisters empty apartment that she had just moved out of and had started a ritual to Saint Expedite for a decent amount of money. I was literally put on the street with hours notice after just settling in because I had burned sage in my new room and she came by and smelled it. I did not hide it as I did not think it was an issue. This is my own sister putting me on the street for something so minor with absolutely no where to go. My mother put me in a hotel for 2 nights with all my stuff and then I was screwed. I could not believe all this was happening and still in disbelief. There is a lot of background here but I will say that my mother and grandmother are both narcsissists, my mother a covert narcissist and grandmother a malignant narcissist. Both are the root causes of issues.

Anyways , I started a Saint Expedite ritual at one place, moved to my sisters, burned one candle there (I did not have a 7 day candle) and then was kicked out. I was at the final hour when I friend hit me up right before I was to be on the street homeless with more stuff than I could ever lug around. She paid for 2 additional nights in the hotel and then asked her son if she could take off money he owed her to let me stay on his couch for a night. I got a 7 day Saint Expedite candle, dressed it, and added it to the altar I already had set up in the hotel. I was only able to burn for one night. Now I am at the house with 5 other people, who say I can burn candles and incense and are okay with the practice, although I am not sure how much they know.

GETTING TO THE POINT...

Getting to the actual question, I got here on Thursday, 3 days ago, and have not relit the Saint Expedite candle since nor set up an altar as I am a little uncomfortable doing it in a living room. But I know I should not just stop the ritual, I had already had it going without the 7 day candle, burning shorter ones, for 4 days or so bouncing from my grandmother's to sister's to a hotel.

The candle has another 4-5 days to go or more if it continues to burn slow. The other candles burned high and faster but the 7 day candle was starting slow. I put out with a snuffer at hotel and wrapped altar and materials on it in altar cloth. Everything is packed together.

My request has not been granted as I asked for a large sum of money, but reasonable enough that it could possibly happen. I altered the request slightly so that I could receive it in increments.

When I had my own place obviously I was much more meticulous about all this.

I already purchased the pound cake to have ready to go, and I will fulfill other requests as soon as I receive what I ask for.

QUESTIONS

1) Should I just relight the Saint Expedite candle in the living room where I am staying or did I ruin the request / ritual by putting it out and moving, then not re-lighting for several days?

2) Do I need to set up an entire altar again?

3) Do I have to say the prayer out loud?

4) I also got Steady Work Oil, and several others for a green candle job ritual I want to do; can I work them on the same table?

I apologize if it seems like I am all over the place, there are a lot of moving parts to this situation but I am trying to focus on the core issue while presenting a realistic picture of the situation.

1) Should I just relight the Saint Expedite candle in the living room where I am staying or did I ruin the request / ritual by putting it out and moving, then not re-lighting for several days?

A: Yes you can relight it, many people burn candles in segments. I would not say the work is ruined, emergencies happen, things happen, however the interruption can be a sign of delay. Not everyone can and does light candles, you can pray and ask a request from a saint without a candle and promise to deliver the payment. You can have a St. Expedite candle set at MISC, when the prayer is granted.

2) Do I need to set up an entire altar again?

A: No many people work in secret, you can do that as well. Saints are spirits, spirits are understanding, speak to Saint Expedite, petition his assistance and how you will repay him for his help when he does.

3) Do I have to say the prayer out loud?

A: No but I do think there is power in spoken word.

4) I also got Steady Work Oil, and several others for a green candle job ritual I want to do; can I work them on the same table?

A: Some Saints do not mind sharing a space, others do, I would opt not to.

Thank you, I set altar up, palo santo'd the living area. Used florida water around area and setup censer to burn frankincecnse , mhyrr and five finger grass. The candle (7 day candle that I burnt for one night) has gone out within a couple minutes three times in a row. Every candle before this that I burnt for this ritual burned very well . There were alot of little pops but a tall flame on the last one but I had an awesome altar setup at the hotel I was at previous and the other two places. But it does not want this candle... Does that mean the whole ritual is botched? I added the seven day yellow candle after doing this for awhile.

I need that request badly. I am homeless living on someones couch with nothing. I am going to try my fast luck candle and put together a ritual so I can obtain a job. This was for enough money for me to get a place, a vehicle (which if I get the money to register and insure it I have one across the state), a lawyer, and survival money for food etc. Everything burned so well up until this point. One of the girls I am staying with here is a wiccan, not sure how practiced she is but I have never had a candle go out like this. Especially not after ritual has gone so well up until this point.

I worry that all that effort beforehand was for nil, what does this mean?

I lit it three times, and the third light is still going but is a very tiny flame.

Suggestions?

Hi againstthegrain144,

-The wick may be too short causing the wax to flood, try pouring some out, by grabbing the candle by the base, be careful it's hot, and pour a little out.

-I would also take a spiritual bath, it can be as simple as praying over some salt and adding it to your bath water, a hot cup of coffee, or mixing salt, sugar, and mustard to make a sugar scrub.

-You can also mix sugar and Cinnamon and sprinkle it outside your door, or when you apply for work in person have some in your pocket, and spill it on the floor, during the interview. http://herb-magic.com/cinnamon-powder.html

-The Missionary Independent Church can also light an Emergency Candle for you, https://missionaryindependent.org/candl ... #emergency

-The Crystal Silence League can pray for you, http://crystalsilenceleague.org/

-You can follow Hoodoo Psychics on Facebook and enter to win a free reading https://www.facebook.com/HoodooPsychics

-Lucky Mojo Rootwork Hour also selects 1 lucky client for the post on the forum for a free reading from 2 highly skilled rootworkers every Sunday forum259.html

Hello, I just started a St Expedite 7 day candle yesterday and I need to change my petition. It is still the same request I just need to make a small change to how I want to receive it. I asked for funds to come from a specific source and instead I need the funds from any source lol. Can I make the changes while the candle is lit or should I snuff it out and start over? Thank you.
