Beeswax Candle Questions and Answers

I was thinking that beeswax candles might be useful for honey jar spells or that beeswax doll babies might be useful to keep someone sweet on you.

I know Miss Bri spoke a little about this already somewhere on the forum, and she was in agreement with your assessment. Beeswax candles and dolls go well with sweetening and drawing works.

Nothing wrong with using high-quality products and adding sensory beauty to your work.

Sometimes spells, or parts of spells, are contained in a layer of wax -- traditionally, the wax that's on the outside of some cheeses, because it's red (or black), malleable, and free with purchase. But there's no reason you couldn't use modeling beeswax if you felt led to do so.

Beeswax is used for dolls, of course. So is cheese wax, which comes in red, black, and golden-yellow. The days of cheap beeswax are long gone, and more folks now use paraffin wax for candles, but we still stock few beeswax candles at the shop, for those who prefer them and are willing to pay the higher price.

Beeswax is totaly used for dolls and in some countries beeswax is also used for molding milagros which are then left as offerings to various saints. However, I must say as a beeswax lady that I find molding with beeswax to be a bit difficult personally. It is usually very hard and takes longer and higher temps to warm up than paraffin or cheese wax. And its pricey. But items molded out of it can also last a long time. I was taught by miss cat to work with cheese wax and I do use that a lot.

There is softer modeling beeswax that comes in beautiful colors that has a similar texture to cheese wax - and cheese wax is a beautiful and inexpensive solution - What a brilliant idea!

I know of the modeling beeswax because my kids went to a Waldorf school where that is a mainstay. I like the idea of the beeswax for "sweet" spells because it just has such a nice smell and such a warm vibrational quality to it. Like honey, it just seems to have the "texture" (for want of a better word) of the kind of love one would like, or at least I like, to have in my life.

Yes, beeswax doll might be sweet but there are different other beeswax candles available in the market which can be used to keep someone sweet on you.
