Can a guardian angel candle be used to bring you some good news or can it also be used to pray to the guardian angel of on'e lover to open up communication [also if yes should i petition my guardian angel or his? ]?
Does anyone know how else this vigil can help apart from protection?
I did a lookup on the website & mostly dot protection threads.

Yes, you can ask another person's guardian angel to contact you. You do not need a specific prayer; just ask.

I suppose you could use it for that, however if your looking for help in communication I suggest you take a look at the Archangel Gabriel, angel of the Annunciation.

The Guardian Angel is definitely for protection, not for receiving news. Turnsteel is correct -- it is Archangel Gabriel for news.

Here in Texas, I've found myself collecting Novena candles. I'm always excited to find one I hadn't seen before. But the ones I most frequently use are the Guardian Angel novenas. I've used them for myself and also for my partner (petitioning her guardian angel watch out for her or aid her) - once when she was in danger and once when she was concerned about passing a class. (Great results).
When I went to Lucky Mojo and cat told me I could pick out a church fan - she suggested the guardian angel one would be a good fit - it was a cool moment just because it's the novena candle I tend to choose over and over again and actually use. I most definitely recommend this novena - benevolent, friendly and effective - plus the image is especially pretty when lit from within.
a pic I took a while back:

The colors are different, but I think I prefer the soft green and pink surrounding the LMCC candle - which I bet is much higher quality than my local finds.

Hi,
Is there any way to contact your guardian angel and basically 'sees' them?
Thanks.

Hello, vmadone ,
Yes, you pray all the time and keep asking them.
Use Psychic vision oil :
http://www.luckymojo.com/psychicvision.html
Also use Spirit guide oil:
http://www.luckymojo.com/spiritguide.html
I recommend using them on your head, especially your third eye (between your eyebrows).
Light candles also and pray. I have moved your post to the subforum with the candles. Please watch where you post as this query certainly does not belong in the Intraquil Spirit subforum
It won't happen immediately. You have to be persistent
Wishing you the best

"Among Jews and Christians, one's personal Angel, sent by God to protect one, is called a Guardian Angel. The idea is not original to Judaism or Christianity, however, but has roots in ancient Greek religion and in Zoroastrianism. A Guardian Angel may protect one from danger or loss of life, and may also bring hope and comfort to those in grief and sorrow. Guardian Angels are often considered to be the particular patrons of children."

Our prepared 8" glass-encased vigil lights come with a dressing of oils and herbs and will burn for 5 - 7 days, depending on ambient temperature and other factors.
If you wish to set a traditional Novena of nine days, you will either have to start and stop the candle (which can result in a smoky glass), or purchase two candles to run continually over the 9-day period.
Always practice fire safety when setting vigil lights. If you must keep them lit when you are away or asleep, be sure that no pets or children can get into the room with them, that they are not near curtains or flammable cloth or paper, and that you have a smoke alarm in your house. Placing lit vigils in the bathtub is quite common, but you must not have a shower curtain if you use this method. Setting them into a fireplace is ideal, as there is a ready-made chimney for them.
