Introducing myself. My name is James Moore, 48 year old GWM living with my partner in Charlotte, NC, on a 2.5 acre "estate" I nicknamed "Puccoon Hollow," owing to the plethora of puccoon, the Tsalagi (Cherokee) name for bloodroot, which grows on the property. I have been studying and/or dabbling in various forms of magic, folk magic, hedge and kitchen witchery since I was quite young.
My background includes associations with a Macumba House in Greenville, SC, and a Trad Witch coven in the Columbia, SC, area. The name I use for this forum was given me by a Seidh worker at Trothmoot 2012, - "wizard of the wolf seat." Turns out I am descended on my mother's side from the Howes, whose coat of arms features three wolf heads, and on my father's side from Elizabeth Seymour, the Seymours having their manoral seat at Wulfhall in Savernake. Trothmoot is also where I met and befriended a brauchier and practitioner of Urglaawe. My present spiritual path is primarily Heathen; my magical path is considerably more eclectic.
I have been studying and following hoodoo, conjure, and related practices, including Cat's works and websites, for some years, and am now starting to do some serious practice.
I hope to learn more and make more friends and contacts through this forum, to be able to get help when needed and also give help when requested. Thank you.
