hi i'm mamabird39,

mother of 2 grandmother of 1 raising the granddaughter as my own

i was raised wiccan but i always followed my own path. going to many diffrent Christian churches with other friends and family helped me relise that i follow my own heart and magick is not a sin.

i'm sorta new in hoodoo and it's a nice change of pace, every trick i've worked, sometimes faster, some took almost 3 years, but it worked.

what i do see is that some hoodoo books that i have read has too much wicca in it. i see it over and over again and that's why i want to get miss cat's books becouse a wiccan didn't write them and it would feel like i'm learning the real deal, not from some one who hasn't studyed hoodoo but just knows about it.

yes i am a empath so are my children it has taught me how to read people thoughly although the sperit world knows who you are can be good or bad depends on how you look at it.

ok now so far you know what brought me here. now after i learn hoodoo what will i do next? well i'm not sure but what ever i do or what other forms of magick i'm drawn to i will know when the time comes. so far i feel i'm to learn many forms of magick from many cultures. i feel by doing this will make me prepared for what ever is thrown at me i can defend my self in many cultures (there is a lot of magick out there) and if some one curses you and laied tricks on you and they are from a diffrent culture well wicca or hoodoo might not work but if you know how to use there magick from that religion well there u go send it back with a good kick of hoodoo.

well mabe my path is diffrent from otheres here but for know i think hoodoo is where i'm supposed to be. and i owe a huge thank you to lucky mojo for helping me in my time of need. i wished that there was a topic for just hoodoo disscutions and genral hoodoo questions and spells that herbs and many curios are used and how to use them there are so many questions that people are looking for or need help with.

any way thank you and many blessings to all.
