Hello, fine folk of the forum!
I'm Paige Zaferiou, a New Englander living in San Francisco and a proud Lucky Mojo customer. Up until now I've been very solitary, studying and practicing magic on my own since I was young. I was introduced to Hoodoo several years ago when I moved to the Bay Area. The practical nature and energetic vibe of Hoodoo resonates well with me and I'm very excited to keep learning here on the forum!
I had the extreme pleasure of attending the Hoodoo Heritage Festival for the first time this year, and was utterly uplifted by that gathering of folks and the generosity of knowledge shared - and not to mention delighted by the new model railroad.
In particular I was affected by Michele Jackson's workshop on contemporary methods of throwing the bones, and just today performed my very first bone reading with the set I've been building since the workshop. Thank you, thank you to Michele for that lovely class and for reminding me of the powerful connection available to us through our ancestors.
Miss cat's wonderfully active workshop on wildcrafting herbs was also a major blessing. I have since used many of the herbs I gathered there in a mojo bag for protection and can happily report that it is the most potent I've ever made! I look forward to many years of wildcrafting with my Felco clippers and field guide.
I'm so very excited to be here. Many blessings to you sweet chickadees!
