Hello everyone. My first post and question. Can you make multiple dolls for one person, example someone with multiple personalities? Or would a 3 headed one be best?
Can you make a healing doll and a protection doll for the same person or should you make 2 dolls? Thanks!

I merged your post into the forum thread on Doll-Babies. Please do not make new threads, there is a topic thread for each condition and product.

You certainly can make more than one doll for a person but it would often be based on different workings. A person with 3 personalities is still one doll, though they have a mental disorder. You can add all the names to the doll. If this is a healing doll I would stick with the actual name of the person as you are trying to heal them. If it was to curse or cause trouble then using all 3 would be ok.

A healing doll can also be used with protection, both items can be added to the same doll to heal and protect them.

Miss Cat wrote a book dedicated to making dolls, which is a great asset for your work, you can order from here.

We did for many years -- they were hand-made for us by the late Joseph Bearwalker Wilson, whom we miss a lot. They are all sold out now, and are precious artifacts of his spiritual handicraft.

Hi, I usually would just read and not ask on the forum but I(either i have missed it) - - or just never saw it.

I have always been interested with poppets and doll babies (and I had someone do it for me before) though? I find it is not exactly the same thing and I do know some of the stuff as I have learned a lot here, however - - I want to ask...

Does the doll baby need to be "really fancy made" to be used? What if you made your own kind of doll and loaded it with herbs and personal concerns? baptized and prayed over it (but it is not the kind of doll that I see similarly on the net and ot others have posted) - - does it work the same? Or it won't actually be used as it doesn't look human enough? (lol sorry I did attended some classes and such but for the life of me I am not good wih sewibg and all that lol). I tried hard since years ago, lol.

Also, I have always heard in the podcast saying "put the paper on the doll" - - I really didn't understood this. Does it nean you put it inside the doll as part of their personal concern? Or does it mean you literally plsrer it on the head or something - their ohoto, etc. and it will act as the face of the doll? (sorry if it seemed like a stupid wuestion to ask but I have always been curoous about it >.<)

Miss Cat wrote a great book called Hoodoo Dolls and Effigies, she also taught a class on the subject which can be purchased and viewed. Rv. John Sain Germain also has a video on making dolls that can be purchased.

Dolls do not need to be human-looking, though many do because it helps with connecting to the work (sympathetic magic) and if targeting a certain part such as a head it helps to have one on the doll. Dolls have been made of sticks, cloth, plastic, clay, wax, etc. The mode you use has a pro and con, for example, if you are making a doll-baby to cleanse a person, you would not want a cloth one as it will get soaked, but a stick, clay, or wax would be sufficient. Alternative if you want a doll to work, such as a love doll where you kiss it, hug it, sleep with it, it may be best to go with a cloth doll over a clay or wax due to them easily breaking.

Sticking the paper is actually sticking it into the doll, depending on the doll type. It is not as easy to stick paper into clay or wax (though not impossible) as it is to stick it into a stick doll, plastic doll, or even a fabric doll. In those cases you may carve the petition on the doll, and load the bottom of the doll with a personal concern. For example, a wax doll I can carve a hole in the bottom and add a piece of the persons hair into the doll.

oh thanks, ya... the issue i had is the fact that its hard to connect and treat a doll as i should... probably becuz i find it way too non human and ugly lol. but i will try having the class and hopefully i ame some progress, though part of me thinks what i need more is a craft class lol.

Good evening,
I have been working with a doll I made and a red skull. Before I make a move I would like some advice. I know JayDee said it would take a lot of oils to drown a doll but unbelievably I have enough oil to do just that so I was thinking can I put the doll in a jar and drown it with appropriate oils, such as come to me, follow me boy, do as I say,etc… burn the skull on top of the jar with the doll inside and once done bury the remains by my door.

You certainly can do what you are asking. It is mentioned in Miss Cat's book Hoodoo Dolls and Effigies. You can bury the remaining wax and work the jar until the person comes you.

You can keep the jar and keep working the jar. It is common to keep working in a jar until the results are completed. I would work the jar until you get the results. I strongly suggest the book Miss Cat, Bottle Up and Go, as it explains how to use bottle spells, such as this.

A long time ago, a "friend" of mine cursed me. One of the biggest things that was impacted was the man I was dating at the time, whom she wanted (but he didn't want her). The curse changed him 180 degrees. When he broke up with me, I was shocked because he had slipped and told me he was already looking at engagement rings.

I didn't know for years that I had been cursed. It wasn't until I discovered Lucky Mojo and had a reading with an AIRR who confirmed it. It took a while for it to come off.

I just realized that although the curse is off of me, I did the cleansing, uncrossing and protection of myself; not him. She definitely had access to him to be able to break us up. I just made and baptized a poppet for him, but for love. From what I have read, I can't get the doll wet to uncross and protect him because it would ruin it. Do I have that correct?

Can I buy a doll, stuff it with his personal concerns then baptize it and uncross him? Or should I just fill a white male figural candle with some of his concerns and baptize it as him? Do I need to pull his spirit out of the other poppet first? Thank you for any assistance!

Your question seems to be, "I made a doll on my lover but realize he may have a curse on him too, can I use the same doll, do I need another, how do I prepare it?"

This is a great question and people may answer it differently, some may suggest you need multiple dolls for multiple reasons, and some may use one doll. For example, you can make an uncrossing figural candle doll, dress, baptize it, burn it, while also working a love doll-baby. I personally would not to Uncrossing on the same doll I am working love work on, as a person may see love work as a cross, therefore I would be specific with the work and what it is doing.

You also can look into other work to do to cleanse this person that does not involve a doll such as adding bath crystals to their laundry, oils they will touch, adding uncrossing herbs to food etc.

Hello everyone. I know that when it comes to Voodoo dolls, we put a pin on the belly of the male doll so that a man recognizes his child. However, my question is this: If a man does not have any children and he doesn't want to have children in the near future, can we put a pin on his belly in order to force him to have a child?

I am not aware of the spell but it seems this is causing pain in the stomach much like a mother has stomach pains when having a child to force a man to recognize his child. This is not the same as forcing a man to have a child.

You can create a doll-baby to influence his thoughts to want a baby, or make a doll stuffed with lust and love herbs, then tie it to a doll-baby of the women with a baby bump.

Yes, what you are asking is, "Can I work a doll and do candle work that supports my desire at the same time?" Yes! you should do this, this is a method of working multiple spells for the same goal. The doll, then candles, add baths and even oils. I would certainly do this, and if you want a child you can recite 1 Samual 1:27: 27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.

Hello! How are you? I have a few questions if you don’t mind.

1. Is it preferred to meditate before hand in any spell work/doll baby work

2. I wanna make a doll baby of myself because I wanna get it to get me full time at work (besides me doing everything I’m supposed to already).

Ik I’ve seen things on here about how to make everyone love me, but I wanna know if there is a more direct way to receiving full time. It is july so when seasonal hours start to arrive in fall (more hours and full time openings) I will have a shot at full time but I need to get it. I’m also worried about once the seasonal hours are over.. and hours are shortened.. I NEED to keep the full time I’m kinda worried if it would be a “seasonal” thing. I gotta keep full time.

Some higher ups have my back and see that I’m doing the work, knowing that I wanna get full time badly. They said I gotta “over do” other people to get that shot. but I already am, over a lot of them ;-; I don’t wanna like.. kick anyone in the butt sort to say to get my full time spot bc I believe I deserve it more, their good people too yk. So I’m struggling with ideas with that. But Ik In the end of the day, by the time it’s like summer time next year it’s gonna be the same amount of hours.. less hours and rn 2-5 people that are cashiers have full time.. Out of what like 10-12.. that I know of. And it’s not a small company. At all. And one of them, need to be me by next year. I

’ve gotten to know everyone that’s a cashier. I realized I have to take one of their spots eventually in full time. (So sorry for the small rant!) I like to try to describe my situation as clearly as what I need help with so it may help you help me better.

1. Meditation may help you calm your mind and focus, but it is not a requirement, many people do different activities to get them in the "mood" for doing work. The option is up to you and what works for you.

2. A doll baby stuffed with success herbs and herbs known for work such as Gravel Root can be prayed over to bring longterm job success.

Candle magic would help with this, as would a mojo to wear at work.

I want to do a doll for having everyone like me at work. Like how a honey jar sweetens, I want a doll to do that for me, and have everyone be sweet towards me (the doll) but.. how should I go about this? Can’t exactly fill my doll with honey

I’ve considered domination oil, Ig I just need help with the sweetening part and making everyone sweet to me via doll. Any suggestions? All help appreciated.

The idea goes all the way back to the Johnny Gruelle Raggedy Ann doll, patented in 1915, and described by Gruelle in his book "Raggedy Ann Stories" n 1918. In the book the doll heroine is said to have a candy heart sewn inside her on which the words "I Love You" are printed. Similar candy hearts are still manufactured in North America, where they are a traditional Valentine's day gift.

I was originally talking to my doll saying things like "You love keylewm" then, after a reading/recommendation, switched to "You love me". After the switch to talking about myself in first person and since I primarily work the doll at night when the target is asleep, I would end the session with a statement like "when you wake up you will hear and feel these thoughts and feelings as if they are your own" Is the ending necessary? I was guided to work it like a hypnotism so thought that ending went along those lines.

I see recommendations to speak to the doll about myself in both ways described above, and Im confused which way to go?

If I was speaking originally in third person, but switched to first person, does that confuse the target since they are hearing it both ways?

Maybe I am overthinking it, but wanted to ask. I have Cats dollbaby book arriving tomorrow, but wanted to ask the group!

No, changing styles of speech will not confuse the person.

Please do not dehumanize the person embodied in your doll by referring to him or her as an impersonal "target" in this magical venue -- as if you were "shooting" magic at the person like arrows or bullets. We advise practitioners to keep their work and their terminology human, heart-felt, and sincere. The person embodied in the doll has one or more roles in your life -- family, friend, boss, employee, teacher, student, lover, ex-lover, landlord, tenant, and so forth. Keep your desire for an improved relationship (or a destroyed relationship) centered in your heart, mind, and spirit by referring to the person by name and, where appropriate, by role. Use the name and/or the role in your doll-baby work at home, when writing petitions for candles at MISC, and in describing the relationship here or at the Crystal Silence League.

Note that for privacy reasons, or if it makes you uncomfortable when posting to a public space like this Forum or the CSL, you need not refer to a person by name or gender. To get our help while remaining private, you can simply say something like, "a person i like," or "a person who has offered me a job," or "a family member." But be aware that we do not think of spiritual folk magic as a shooting range and we do not call people "targets."

What you say makes sense about personalizing the doll and referring to them as themselves! Thank you for correcting me so I can do better! I do talk to the doll using his full legal name, but can see how referencing to him in anyway inhuman can negatively impact what Im trying to accomplish.

As for speaking with the doll, am I understanding that saying "you love keylewm" is telling him what you WILL do while "you love me" is more in the conversational realm? If so, is the first better if Im seeking control and the second is more loving persuasion?

To the doll, your referent name is "me."

It doesn't have to do with the third person being about command and the first person being about loving persuasion. It is simply the way we converse in English.

You would not go into a restaurant and say, "Give a taco salad to keylewm." You would say, "Give me a taco salad."

Similarly, a curse would not be said as , "For what you did to keylewm you will be punished by the Most High," but rather "For what you did to me, i call upon the Most High to punish you.

And for love you would not say, "You love keylewm," but rather, "[Name], i call upon you to love me."

How do you thank a doll for the work he's doing when something you asked him to do happens? I saw a post about this that I believe was either in this post or the love doll thread, but I cant find it now. ( I searched both for "thank" and was happy to see how many people give thanks for the advice and success they see!)

I feed him once a week with whiskey and he gets some love oils when I'm making the candle for my sugar jar (for the same person). Do I just give him some extra love tonight, some more whiskey or something else?

There are several schools of hought about this. Some simply give thanks and show love, others ask the doll what it wnts, and if it gives a sign (tea with sugar, a necklace, a cigar, a contribution to charity, etc.) then that wish is fulfilled.

Good afternoon,
If the question has been asked, I do apologize, I have the book Hoodoo and Dolls and Effigies by Ms Cat. I have read the book, I saw on page 64 A doll to control someone’s actions. My question is can I do two different dolls on one person at the same time, one controlling and one for love?

In my experience it is better and more elegant to make one doll for the person and place two commands in it than it is to make two separate dolls for two separate desires and commands on one person.

Controlling love is not the same as love-plus-controlling.

I’m trying to come up with a creative way to use the dolls as a means of protection and prosperity or luck. You always hear of ways to dispose the negative dolls but why can I do other than hide the doll if I am doing it to bring about protection, uncrossing, or just change of luck? Could I bury them for those requests like I would do in the other spells?

Dolls for luck and prosperity are usually not buried. You deploy them rather than dispose of them. Burial of a doll symbolizes death.

Typically folks set them on a shelf, as small object of art. Tuck a money drawing packet or some coins under the dolls skirts or among its clothes.

Make sure it has eyes -- so it can watch for money -- and hands -- so it can grasp money.

If you have a particular trade -- like spinning or painting or preaching or office work or reading cards -- you can use a character doll that is doing that job, so the job will bring you money.

If you want to bury some money-drawing materials, you might instead bury coins, lodestones, pyrite, and the like, to draw luck to your workplace or business.

Hello!

Last night, I crafted my first doll baby. It was made of a used wash rag, and had other personal concerns added. I spoke to it the entire time I was stitching it up, for what its purpose was. Though, I did not add a petition to the doll.

It’s working alongside another container spell.

1. I plan to make it a cute bed and add a petition to the inside of the box, but should I add a petition to the doll?

2. if I wanted to add something to the dolly, then do I just call the spirit out of it first?

3. Is it against the rules to slip something inside the doll sneakily?

Hello, CancerRisingCrying --

1. Write the petition on paper and let the doll lay on it. No need to add it to the doll.

2. Don't futz around with calling the spirit out of the doll and entering it back in -- you will just lose focus on the work if you do that.

3. There are no "rules' in hoodoo but their are plenty of traditional ways of working. Don't mess with the doll -- but if you want to give it something, add it among the doll's clothing, bedding, or as a piece of jewelry or something for it to carry.

Thank you so much for your response. I felt kinda silly asking. I have a special place that I plan to put my baby once she is done. I decided to create altar space especially for her in the area of the space that I want to bring everything to.

Many people keep the doll-baby in a location related to the work, for example a love doll may be wrapped up in your warn clothing to keep you on his mind, a cursing doll may be kept in a casket shaped box while not in use, a blessing doll may be kept with religious artifacts that are sacred to you.
