Reptiles and Amphibians as Omens: Snake, Lizard, Frog, Etc.
Hello all. I had a dream that my god mama, who was a rootworker and is
now crossed over, came to me and was giving me a recipe to poison some
one through the feet. in the dream she told me to catch a snake
and put it in a bag and beat it for 3 days at the same time every day.
then on the 3rd day take it out and collect the milk (what i took as
the snake Venom) and mix that milk with some flour, add sulphur, and
red pepper, and put that down for target to walk over. as i do so i was
to call there name and tell the powder what i wanted it to do. Has any
one ever heard of this before?
(That's a good one and very similar to spells i know in which one beats a frog to enrage him and them uses him to hurt someone, or uses snake skins, snake eggs, snake blood, or snake meat to poison someone. It's a cruel spell, because one is hurting the snake, and i like snakes too much to do it myself, but it ought to produce extremely dire results if done with the proper degree of justified anger. --cat)

Reptiles and Amphibians as Omens: Snake, Lizard, Frog, Etc.
Sorry in advance for my out of place question/topic.
Greetings to all
I would like to know if anyone would know what a frog on your doorstep symbolizes? Not too long ago there was a small little frog that just sat around on my side porch and it would always be there, even when we would shoo it away it would come back. The frog has been sitting on the doorstep for about a month and 3 weeks ago my mom and i have noticed it wasn't there anymore. Sooo, last week on Wednesday my grandmother has passed away and i was wondering if the frog just being around like that meant that death was coming? Its very puzzling and i would really like to know.
Thanks for your time.

Hi, Arilover16 --
Generally speaking, a Snake indicates someone sneaking quietly into your area, generally considered to be an enemy.
Lizards are powerful but subtle; dead ones may be powdered as an ingredient in certain magical powders and dusts..
A Frog, on the other hand, may stand for female sexuality or even childbirth.
Tadpoles (juvenile frogs) indicate the process of growth and the changes that occur through life.
The magical qualities of hundreds of herbs and animals described in this book, with folkloric hoodoo spells for use in practical conjure,
