Re: How to Use Zoological Animal Bones Shells Teeth Feathers Questions and Answers
Hello mel2424,
This is kind of a difficult question to answer. It certainly seems like a sign to me but I am not sure what it is trying to tell you. In order to know for sure I would recomend getting a reading with some one over at AIRR (www.readersandrootworkers.org). I know that black rooster and hen feathers are used to brush people to take of bad or negative things. It could be a sign of a need to cleanse or a sign that you have cleansed something.
Peace~

Would Coyote Penis Bone be used the same as Raccoon Penis Bone or are there other purposes?

Re: How to Use Zoological Animal Bones Shells Teeth Feathers Questions and Answers
Hello, so far here's my plan.
I have reversing oil, the black candles will be arriving soon, once I receive the candles and buy a small mirror, I'll reverse one black candle carving the
bottom for a wick and shaving the top for a bottom and inscribing "My enemies" backwards (seimene yM in mirror writing) starting with the new top
portion I newly carved descending my writing on the candle, anointing it in reversing oil
while pushing the candle away from me, placing it on top of the mirror (carefully not catching my reflection), lighting the candle with a lighter and saying
the lucky mojo line: "For all the evil that you have done to me, [My enemies at my workplace], may all your evil go back to you! May the hurt you have
caused me now hurt only YOU! May the pain you have caused me now be a pain unto YOU. May the lies you have told on me now become lies that are told
about YOU. May the loss you have caused me to suffer now become a loss to YOU." etc. followed by a passage from the bible (Psalm 7) while closing
with "In God's name, Amen". Wait for the black candle to burn out on it's own and wait for night time to arrive so that I can throw the remains on the
crossroads near my workplace is (a very long drive to get there and the most reasonable place to throw the remains) without driving on the same
crossroads again!
Before I proceed with my plan, my question here is, can I work without the Crab Shell Powder? I've heard different stories of this being used or not.

Hello, Jmeister,
Honestly, I have never worked this spell without a reversing candle and crab shell powder. So, I don't know. But, I do know that by following Miss cat's instructions, the chances of success with spell casting is optimal.
But, PLEASE keep us posted on the progress of this spell.
On this forum, we all learn from each other. So, now it's your turn to teach us!

So, I was recently gifted a rattlesnake skull. How could I use the teeth for more nefarious ends?
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you
Re: How to Use Zoological Animal Bones Shells Teeth Feathers Questions and Answers
The Mango Witch,
It depends on the work specifics, IE what you want to happen to them. In general, teeth cause pain, and the snake bite can represent betrayal; they can be used in work for those reasons.

How to Use Zoological Animal Bones Shells Teeth Feathers Questions and Answers
Good afternoon, everyone! I hope you're all staying safe and warm if you're in an area expected to get the upcoming winter storm in the US!
I have a question regarding the use of badger teeth in Hohman's The Long Lost Friend. I'm a bit of a nerd and am a bit obsessive about taking notes to make sure that I'm keeping my practice appropriate to my ancestral background and that I understand the full cultural context of the origin of the working, so I find myself doing lots of research before deciding whether or not I want to adapt something into my practice. Anyway, I apologize for the rambling introduction
I've read several places that mention a luck charm in involving a badger's tooth in The Long Lost Friend (The LLF). I use The LLF extensively in my practice, but I can't find anything about the use of badger teeth in my copy I have in print, and I've looked through several different editions and can't seem to find it in any of them. I've also done some searching here on the forum to see if I could find anything, but have been unsuccessful so far. The only entry in The LLF that I can find that mentions a specific animal's tooth is the following, which uses a wolf's tooth:
Although not explicitly about luck, I suppose that having people speak well of oneself, as well as being able to track down a thief, could definitely be considered luck, but I'm hesitant to read this charm in that way, as it feels to me that it strips the charm of its original context, especially since the charm quoted above uses a wolf's tooth, not a badger's.
I know there are numerous editions, translations, etc. of The LLF. Does anyone know of a specific edition/translation/etc. that includes the mention of the use of a badger's tooth for luck? Does anyone familiar with the German language know if maybe "badger" was maybe a mistranslation from one of the German editions? Any help tracking down this information would be greatly appreciated! If there's a post here on it that I missed, please let me know
Thank you in advance for your input! ^_^

The virtues of this plant is [sic] miraculous, if it be collected in the sign of the lion, in the month of August, and wrapped up in a laurel leaf, together with the tooth of a wolf. Whoever carries this about him, will never be addressed harshly by any one [sic], but all will speak to him kindly and peaceably. And if any thing [sic] has been stolen from you, put this under your head during the night, and you will surely see the whole figure of the thief. This has been found true.

Re: How to Use Zoological Animal Bones Shells Teeth Feathers Questions and Answers
Double_Evening_2439,
Oh my gosh. I have collected information about the use of curios from many sources, and among my old journal notes is a copy of a hand-written sign i saw at a candle/curio shop -- "Badger Tooth $1.00 / Gambling Charm / See Pow-Wows." I also found a Badger Tooth watch fob in an antique store, with "Good Luck" engraved on the bezel that held the tooth and i entered that into my notes as "Badger Tooth Good Luck Watch Fob set in Gold." Other people told me that Badger Teeth (and Alligator Teeth) made excellent gambling curios when carried in a mojo. In 2002, i used my notes to write an entry for Badger Teeth in a book of my own. I foolishly did not verify the "Pow-Wows" reference, and when i just now checked my own copy of "Pow Wows," i found the Wolf Tooth spell for kindliness and thief-catching that you noted above, but all i could find as a gambling charm involved a Bat Heart. I feel terrible that i never checked it and that it may have escaped to the internet from my book. Badger Teeth are indeed carried for luck, but "Pow-Wows" is not the source of that custom. I will correct the error in future editions of my printed books. Thank you very much for bringing it to my attention.
