BestofLife- If you think about it a bit, you'll probably understand better than anyone else what this symbolism means to you. But it's an interesting description. I get those "lips" all the time. And I understand the value of draining candles, trimming / splinting wicks, and doing other things to prevent smoking or twin flames or knots. Then again, these things are parts of the language of the candles even if you do tend to them and correct them.BestofLife wrote:I searched and have looked at this candle repeatedly and can't figure out what it may mean. I am doing a reconciliation/love spell burning 3 free standing pink candles which are set around a picture. The candles are formed in an upside down triangle with two at top and one at bottom. The two at the top are positioned next to each persons picture: mine and his and the bottom one is on top of my petition. Well the candle positioned next to mine is burning the quickest and is melting into a huge "lip". Just imagine pulling out your bottom lip. This lip is only on one side of the candle and is hanging over my image. His candle is bulging out at the top like a doughnut all the way around and burning the 2nd fastest. From the looks of it..his may melt over into a lip too.
The candle with the petition is burning normal so far but is the slowest of the three. I AM JUST STUMPED BY THE LIP THING. Weird.
The rate at which the candles burn is a reflection of the circumstances of the Work. In other words, you're using pink--love and friendship and maybe eros. Just as starsinthesky7 said, you're into this guy. So shouldn't your candle burn faster and shouldn't the lip point to you? It seems accurate. When I get knots or twin flames, I wait and often think of it as a knot that the magic is working through. Not everything is smooth. Even workings in someone else's best interests--like, say, a money working for your broke cousin, Bob, who would be completely happy to hear that you are helping him out this way--may need to push through snafus and "knots." Candles are always talking to us if we learn to hear them.
