While it's true LM doesn't accept Paypal, you can get a PP debit card linked to your PP account and use it to make LM purchases lickety-split!

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
Sorry for the confusion and thank you for uncovering a set of three errors at the site. Jezebel Root is not out of stock by any means. However, our former web-catalogue updater forgot to put it back in stock the last time we harvested it.
At luckymojo.com/mojocatherbs.html it is listed as Out of Stock.
At herb-magic.com it is corectly listed as $3.50 HER-JEZ-RTWH but the add-to-cart button is missing.
At herb-magic.com/ it is listed as HER-JEZ-RTWH with no price and no add-to-cart button.
Please copy this message and forward it to Angela at the shop (angela#luckymojo.com) and tell her that as your rewrd for finding this series of errors, you shoud be sent a FREE Jezebel root, and she should know that i have informed nagasiva (our new web catalogue maintainer) to fix the error ASAP.

I believe this debit card is only for people with verified and business accounts. I have tried to get a Paypal debit to have a card in my name (seems increasingly needed where I live in this day and age, but I cant due to unemployment and bad credit), but it has been very difficult.

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
Route95,
You don't have to have a business account to get the PayPal debit card...I think that was how it was initially offered when it first came out, but it has since been offered to everyone with a PayPal account. It isn't credit based either...you must be thinking of the Paypal credit card (they offer both), and this is not the same as the debit card. It uses the funds from your PayPal account so it isn't credit based, and additionally if you have back up funding on your account, it will use that also to cover your purchases. If the money isn't there, the purchase will be declined. You can also buy those GreenDot Money Pak cards...and add the funds directly to your Paypal account, for instant posting. It is a MasterCard debit card, so provided funding is available in your account, and pending any debit/credit card verification by Lucky Mojo, it should work fine. I have the card myself and I use it at gas stations and chain stores, and I didn't have to verify my business at all. I had planned to use my Paypal account to start a readings service but wasn't ready to charge. We can't post outside links here I don't think, but you can simply google "paypal debit card".

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
This covers a couple topics not sure where to post. First of all, every time I buy something online with my credit card there is software that automatically posts all my sensitive information online. This concerns everybody who uses a credit card. I definitely want to keep buying from you guys, but.....? I will have to use gift cards or something like that in the future. Anyway, I'm just warning people this does happen. I am livid about this, which leads me to my topic: I would like to do a spell to protect my privacy. Should I use Fiery Wall Protection.....with.....on the the black candle write "privacy invaders" something like that....../graveyard dirt dunno sounds funny but I really need to do something. On the legal level I have to spend hours writing sites like spokeo people finders, which I personally have a very low opinion of, requesting to have my information removed. There is software that allegedly keeps information of yours from going on these sites, but people have said it's not reliable so.....anyway......wondering what you guys recommend. Are there psalms I should use to address this? What about certain saints? Or should I petition ancestors.......look at possibilitiesThanks again
Thank you St. Jude, St. Expedite, St. Anthony, St. Dymphna
Thank you ancestors Dan, Donna, John, Marie, Henry, Carl Christian, Danny I love you all

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
What software is this? Are you saying it is being published so that everybody can see it, or just your credit card vendor? Any reputable website has encryptions in place which PROTECT your private information, not broadcast it. If your private information is being broadcast to random websites, you probably have a virus or other malware on your computer, because this is not a common occurrence.
Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
you could very well be right. but it's a recurring thing. thing is, this is a school computer guess that was a bad idea. even though I always clear history and so on. I'll tell the administrators.
thanks for keeping up protection though.
so there's the technical side and the spiritual as well.....

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
It's been a good while sense my first and only purchase at Lucky Mojo Curio and I just never really got around to asking this specific question. On my receipt (the paper with all of the things that I bought, their prices, my sub-total etc.) it says that there is an overage of so much money (yes, it gives the amount). Does this mean that that bit of money that I over paid is customer credit? When I say that I mean, can I include that amount of money on my next purchase? For example, I buy $20 worth of product plus tax and ten dollars handling and shipping, can I deduct however much money I have as customer credit? Meaning that I, for example, had $10 customer credit which would easily cover the handling and shipping then I only send $20 plus tax.
Oh, and how do you figure up the 13% on your overall total because I tried looking it up and I can not find anything! Yes, I am asking for either a easy to understand website or easy to understand instructions, please and thank you!

Sorry, this is all beyond me. Usually if there is an overpayment, we issue a refund, not a credit, unless the customer requests a credit. Call the shop for help or email them. Ask for Leslie.

The only thing the shopsite account does is memorize your address and telephone data so you don't need to type it out every time. If you do make an account and it gets messed up -- usually because you've changed browser software or changed your service provider -- you can just start a new account.

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
I wont ask about paypal
What I will request is if it would be possible to keep the card on file for future use in my LM online account. This way, it is just there when I want to order. I dont have to pull out my wallet if I want to order. Yep, its lazy, but kinda valid... In my mind.

eben74 -- Keeping the card on file has become against the law in many places due to credit card fraud. If you register an account with our secure shopping system, it will keep the card information on fine at the secure site and you just have to okay it. Give it a try and if you have any problems, post ehre, okay? Thanks!

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
BIG CHANGES AS OF TODAY!
As of April 16th, 2012, we have decided to no longer accept text-based EMAIL orders or FAX orders.
Why:
Our ONLINE SHOPPING CART has been online for many years now, and the system is reliable and secure, yet we still receive two to four email and fax orders per day. However, each of these requires an office person to cut-and-and-paste or actually type in the order -- a complete waste of time. Online ordering is the norm now, and if people have internet access, they can order online. End of story.
HOWEVER --
We recognize that many of our older clients and those who do not have reliable internet access cannot order online.
Therefore:
For them, and for all who require a high level for secrecy, we will continue to accept POSTAL MAIL orders, if accompanied by cash, a money order, or a personal check. (Checks are held for 3 weeks to verify clearing).
For full details, pelase see:

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
I am so disappointed...I just tried to order by calling the shop, which I have done time and time again, over several years and was told that I was no longer able to order via phone, which is unfortunate as for whatever reason, the online cart will not process my card and one of the girls has always had to call me back when I tried to use the online order system and we have to start over with my order. I guess I'm s.o.l.

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
Sorry. It's not that we won't accept Paypal -- it's that Paypal deleted the Lucky Mojo account YEARS AGO because we sell ritual sacred tobacco. They forbid merchants who sell tobacco. Talk to Paypal about it, not to us. You can always buy a gift card and use it as a debit card. Your options are more open than you think!

& I had to leave my stuff in my cart i'll find another way thanks

Angel212,
If you mistakenly lock up your account by typing in the wrong password too many times, just call 707-887-1521 during business hours (9am to 5pm Pacific Time) and tell who answers the phone that you have this problem and that you need to talk to someone who can help you to fix it. They'll connect you with an account specialist.
Good luck!

If not having our company name on a credit card or debit card billing statement is important to you, you can, in addition to purchasing a gift card, also pay with cash or a money order.

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
Hi, I realize this isn't customer service, but I can't seem to get help with my problem by calling the store or by e-mail. Who can I contact to get a refund for a reading I paid for on the old system but did not receive? The store people keep telling me to schedule a new reading, but the problem is, you guys already have my 60 bucks. I can't schedule a new reading without paying for it again. I don't want to pay twice for only one reading. I can't seem to get the person at the store to understand that. Is there an e-mail or number I can call to get someone to help me with my problem? I e-mailed the address given for readings but have not received any acknowledgement or response.
Again I know the forum is not considered the place for this but I was not able to get assistance any other way. I figure you would rather find out about the problem than have this issue go unresolved.

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
I am sorry, it has been more than ten years since we put out our last printed catalogue.
It looked like this:

I would suggest that if you have a colour printer, you could go to our individual catalogue pages -- such as the oils page, the incense page, etc. -- and print them out for her. Another option would be to loan her an ipad or or smart phone or something similar so she can scroll around and look at the items. She can then write down what she wants and order by mail -- we do have a lot of clients who send money orders or cash by mail.

You could ask her what type of products she wants and order them for her. If she lives nearby, invite her over so she can look at the items on your computer.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?
I'm afraid I cannot phone the shop as it is expensive to call from England.
Thanks.

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
I always have a large list saved on my computer. I brake it into 3 parts; Wish List, Order Soon, and Must Order ASAP. As I order the items I remove them from the list and save the new updated list. This is the only way my brain will allow me to remember all of the items I need to order on a semi-monthly basis.

I would agree with this and have to add, one may want to keep a handwritten list in the even of a computer washout. That is what saved me and got me back into the forum! But I totally agree with the 'wish-list' idea on the site, or forum...I mean, after all we have a 'foes' list and that's just one of a kind I believe!Joseph Magnuson wrote:I always have a large list saved on my computer. I brake it into 3 parts; Wish List, Order Soon, and Must Order ASAP. As I order the items I remove them from the list and save the new updated list. This is the only way my brain will allow me to remember all of the items I need to order on a semi-monthly basis.
Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
I don't think we're allowed to post links to other websites so I can't post a link here, but there are sites that allow you to make wishlists from any online vendors. I have one and I have stuff on it from Lucky Mojo, Amazon, Etsy, etc. and lets me make separate lists so I can either use it as a personal wishlist, or it can also work as an online gift registry that you can send to your friends.
What mine does is it makes a wishlist that shows picture thumbnails and links to the vendor's product pages where you can purchase the item you want.
Just look around on Google and you can find one!

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
Hi,
I have been trying to order oils through the website shopping cart for a long time now, but I cant get the shopping cart to process my orders, it just says no selection, whatever browser I use, whether I use google chrome, safari or firefox. I was wondering if I could just send the order form by email and include my credit card details, I've tried to do it before but after someone replied to me on email they still didnt process my order.
Thanks a lot

I want to pay for oils online through the card system. however, I also know that the more you order, the more the product might be delayed .
Someone said that by money order, you could send something over with a note stating that you want the products to be shipped in as they are finished rather than waiting for all to be completed. is there a way to do that with a debit card payment?

wanting2develop- First I must ask you to not double post the same question in a different part of the forum when you have already asked it here. I went ahead and deleted the other post.
With that said. The amount of time it takes to receive your order can vary. Now I do not work for Lucky Mojo, but I do know that they work hard to get orders filled. Some factors that can vary the time to receive an order can rely on how many orders were placed before yours, and if the item(s) is in-stock. If the item(s) is not in-stock then the wait is for when they cycle through the products that need to be made. Be it if you pay by credit card or mail a money order, the process as far as I know is the same.

Oh I'm so sorry Papa Newt. I didn't mean to. I said on the other post that I thought it didn't go through because everytime I tried to check to see if anyone replied, it kept saying that no page exists that matches my request URI. So I assumed it went wrong. Won't happen again.

I recently received an email saying that my bank has declined payment for a recent order (ready for shipping) and that its in storage until I can update information.
I have a different card to use, how do I update for the order?

What Satinice1 said -- or, if you prefer, reply to the email from the shop with your new credit card number in the email.

Re: Online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Questions and Answers
Hi,
I tried to make an order several times but I failed each time.
I can't enter my shipping address, nor payment details or preferences. The "No selection" button pops up each time. And I tried to click on the select button but nothing appears. What's wrong? Please help me! I want to order asap...
Btw, how long does it take for the order to arrive to Vietnam?
Thanks
