I'm fairly new to using hoodoo so i'm not really sure how to interpret the wax from two figural candles. Basically, I have an Adam and Eve candles facing each other. They're not super close because the bases prevent them from touching, but what happened is that a column of wax from the male candle (from the shoulder) has formed and it is reaching towards the point where the two bases meet (it is free-standing and forms a sort of triangle with the male candle). It starts from one point and widens a lot at the base. Just curious what this could mean? It's a reconciliation/return to me spell so he comes back to me. I have pictures of it, if needed. Any ideas would be appreciated

Your best bet would be to send the pictures to one of the talented AIRR workers who reads candle signs:

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Thanks for your response. This work was for myself and have started to see some results however have also seen a tad bit of negative ones but only time will tell. I think the fact that he is Asian and me being black is intimidating for us both. On another note when I pay him no attention as a test he comes to me or spends much of his time staring. In which from my own personal tarot reading it looks like I may have to take some initiative. This was 5 days of work with a daily offering to Elegua and Oshun as well.
Thanks for the links and responses.

Hey welcome back,
One thinq you should NEVER EVER do, is play around with your work. Because you ARE qoinq aqainst it. You'll be messinq around with your qoal you're tryinq to achieve. For the second note, love has no race, qender, specifications, or aqe. Your messinq around with your outcome, and follow your intentions to qet what you desire.
Example: Friday Morninq, I do a LAVENDER LOVE kit, and draw the interest of whom I'm fond of...I'm yet in love, but then upset because my interest and I are yet to be toqether, they're qoinq around and beinq inconsiderate about my feelinqs of them, so I don't pick up their calls, reply to messaqes or emails, or don't answer my door for them...What am I doinq?
--I rest my case.
Point is, be attentive for your intuition and your desire: If you want to draw success and money, find a job, apply for them, and call back constantly and don't take no for an answer. If you want love, make yourself available, broaden your search, and qo on dates. Want affection from your known lover? Wear makeup, cut your hair and qroom yourself. Wear a flowy dress, open the door for her and pay for dinner....[metaphorically of course]
So all i'm sayinq is don't be neqative and do the work as you did, and don't stress over it or you'll be overthinkinq all of this...and then you WONT qet any outcome and may have to do it over aqain if you dont see the results within 3 months of the work you've done.
Good Luck, and I hope my examples helped in someway

Hello hoodoo lovers
I was planning on doing a moving candle spell with a male nude figural and a woman nude figural. I'm a little confused. I am a female. I am planning on doing this spell to make us closer and more serious. What oils would I use on the male candle and what oils on the female, would they be the same? Also, is it a 7 day spell?

Hi barbie818,
the spell can be done over 3, 5, 7 or 9 days: as you wish. That said, you may want to look through the following thread that discusses an almost identical request: advice-on-best-tactic-for-making-boyfri ... 18310.html

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Hi
I just have a quick question, I'm currently burning a red male candle for a man to spend more time with/ have more sex with me & be more affectionate. Last night the candle melted down the middle and left unmelted wax that wasn't touched on the sides of the man that are a bit high does this mean anything? Thanks!

It means that you have some work to do. There are some things that you still need to address to get this man to spend more time and sex with you. In addition, if he is split down the middle he may be not able to spend all his time with you, and/or he is splitting his time with you and something/someone else.

Evening, All
I've been having a lot of success with Lucky Mojo's candles and powders - but I've come up on a bit of an odd one.
I want to begin work on separating a couple, but I am uncertain which figure candle(s) to use. The couple in question are transsexual, both born men but have undergone sex change operations. My first inclination is use female figures but, yeah, think I need some advice & to hear the theory
cheers in advance,
Londoner

Hi Londoner,
they've both chosen to live as women and do the work to get them there. Female candles would thus be my choice as well.
Blessings.

I agree with aura. Even had they not yet undergone sex reassignment surgery, and only identified as female, I would still use female figural candles. If their personal identity is female, then that is the harmony you'll want to match for your spellwork to be effective.

Can I use this candle for reconciliation? I Purchased the wrong candle so now I have this pink one.
Is there any reconciliation ritual I can do with it? What LM oils, etc do you recommend? I only have attraction oil and powders at this moment.
I do have that That lucky oil number 20 and come to me Oil... Along with some things from my own garden like dried rose petals and Sweetpea.
Is there anything ritual I an do with these things?
Thanks!

From what I've gathered, yes you can use the pink male candle for reconciliation work. Source: http://www.luckymojo.com/adamcandle.html for drawing a male lover closer or for reconciliation. You can name your candle after your man and talk to him.
Oils for reconciliation work I would recommend Reconciliation and Return to Me. For spell work, check out http://www.luckymojo.com/lovespells.html#reconciliation. Rose petals and sweetpea are love attractants, so I'm not sure about recon work for a specific person.
There is a LOT, I mean a LOT of helpful information on the forum, with a lot of helpful folks, too

Yes you can use the pink candle. And if you are doing reconciliation work the ingredients you have can work but you are missing the healing aspect of the work. SO if you can find some balms of gilead or get some reconciliation products then you can use those things you have but again you are lacking the healing that is needed for reconciliation work.

Just a little tip. I actually put my name on a piece of parchment paper through the base of the candle, because I didn't have any of his personal concerns. It worked like a charm.
Thank You Saint Martha for all that you've done and continue to do for me!!!!

Hello,
A candle with a man and a woman hugging each other is the "adam and eve" candle right?
1. what oils and herbs do i need to use to make someone spend time with me and can't stop thinking about me?
2. to strengthen existing love and beat all odds?
3. do i apply it to both male and female candles or do i apply which herbs/oils to the man or woman?
Thanks!

Hi Crystal_Clear,
The Figural Candle of the man and woman embracing is known as the Lovers Candle. The Adam and Eve candles refer to each individual nude male and female candles. Now, as for your other questions.

- 1. You may consider Love Me, Stay With Mefor oils. Coriander Seeds to keep a lover faithful, Poppy Flowers to get them to think of you to name a few.
2. Chuparrosa Oil is wonderful for strengthening an exciting relationship.
3. When it comes to an existing love -- that does not have any problems of infidelity, major arguments, and so on -- I would work both male and female. Because you want to work on yourself as well as your partner to keep the relationship strong. Relationships are a teamwork after all.

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
I bought a 7 knob black candle to curse someone, along with dragon's blood ink and a quill.
I have a spell that said to carve a word on each knob that describes what I want to happen to my enemy (ie. pain, fail, sick, etc.) cover it in destruction oil, write the name of the person in dragon's blood ink on a ripped off piece of a brown paper bag and place it under the candle which is dressed in Destruction oil, then I burn a knob each day and pinch out the flame, (it's day 4 today.
I was wondering how to jinx her using a black colored candle shaped as a: skull, lady, crucifix, or devil.
Which candle would be best to jinx her?
Do I just dress the candle in destruction oil again?
If so, do I carve her name on the candle, or place a piece of parchment with her name in dragon's blood ink underneath?
I have, goofer dust I bought from LM. and still have plenty of destruction oil.
Which herbs do I order to dress the candle or do I just use destruction oil.
My aim is to cause her hardship discomfort, pain and turmoil.
Could someone tell me which candle to buy and how to do a jinx?

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
To actually determine what would be the best choice of candle in your case would require a reading. Perhaps she is more open for things put on her mind? Then you use a skull candle. Maybe the foremost weakness to target is her body? Then use a full size Lady candle, etc.
If your own mind and beliefs is more triggered by a certain shape, then that factor should also be considered when choosing a figural candle.
Explore it.
In any case you need to add a personal concern of hers to the candle. A name IS a personal concern. Either you carve it on the candle, load it by placing it inside the candle or put the paper underneith the candle.
Both oils and herbs are additions used to strengthen your work. The need to add them depend on how skilled and gifted you are as a caster and other factors concerning the targets protections etc.
The need to add things are usually determined by divination. If you are unable to do a reading yourself on the matter you need some professional guidiance from one of the AIRR members.

Thank you, I was already planning on booking a reading, I guess the time is now
To give some understanding of who I'm dealing with, this woman probably wouldn't be open to what others tell her, she does whatever she wants and has created a (work) environment where everyone around her is afraid to say anything negative to her.

My personal favorite curse using figural candles is the Black Skull with nails.
Dressed with Inflammatory Confusion, Crossing, and Destruction Oils. The best to upset their mind.
Black Mustard Seeds loaded in the bottom of the candle is also a great addition.

Thanks Apollo. That's an interesting recipe you suggest. Very cunning. It will be fun to experiment with.
One question though - Do you put the nails directly into the black Skull Candle or just keep them in the vicinity of the work? I'm guessing that inserting them would effect the speed and quality of the burn.

Hi tobeimean,
Apollo Dark can confirm, but usually the nails would be pricked into the head to cause it pain. Another way to go is to heat the rusted nails or coffin nails in the burning candle flame until they're red hot and then poke them into the face and head of the candle. You can repeat this as the candle burns or leave the nails in after you've burned them in.

My mother was actually burning it for my relationship. We recently had a son and he started cheating at the end of my pregnancy and then left 1 month after he was born. She was trying to reunite our familyDoctor Hob wrote:Candles can behave in funny ways, sometimes. What kind of work are you burning it for?
Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
You can try using a match to soften the wax and glue the candle back together. When working your spell I'd also keep a close eye on it to see if it breaks while you're burning it. To be absolutely safe, I'd order another candle.
Good luck,

Is is stronger and or necessary for me to use my own hair in an uncrossing spell using the white female image candle? I can tell that someone is working on me.
I plan to anoint the candle with uncrossing oil, and carve my name in the candle. Then maybe put some of my hair in the candle. Good idea?

Using personal concerns strengthen work. Also post a prayer at the Crystal Silence League
http://crystalsilenceleague.org/prayerrequests.html
I recommend that you read more on uncrossing work
http://www.luckymojo.com/uncrossing.html
Sometimes more is needed and definitely protect yourself after some cleansing work.

Good signs?
12 am Friday I lit a pink candle dressed with come to me oil.. the candle flame is high and steady and occasionally dancing. The next day which is today around 9am the flame still high and steady and its 2 inch tall to the bottom so its almost done. after 5 mins i checked it and the flames went out and it looks like the wick fell over to it's melting remaining wax. Is this a good sign? I don't know what to do if relight it or just leave it as is because it means the spell is done. help please..

Remaining wax, especially when the wick "falls over" and your flame goes out, means that there is still resistance and it was not a fully successful burn. I would do another candle and watch the new candles signs.

I burned another candle the pink couple candle after 8 hours.. i noticed that the female part melted fast but when the head is gone she stop melting and wait for the male.. then they melt together but all their melted candles wrapped around the female candle..the flame bounced together occasionally, and steady.. the flame is not high nor low but its look like bright..the flame of the female part that represented me went out first.. but it looks like its also because of the wick.. the whole body of both figure melted before the female flame went out.. this time the male part last long.. he continue to burn the base he didn't finish it because his wick fell too.. is this is a good burn or need to try again?

Good Morning, Nylameoj,
Have you looked at the candle divination link? There's a lot of information here and will give you clear ideas as to what your candles are saying:
www.luckymojo.com/candlemagicdivination.html
I agree with Joseph. But, it's also wise to get a clear idea, yourself, as to what is going on DURNG a candle burn. When you're in control, you can manipulate the outcome.
Wishing you the best
Take care

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
I am inquiring about a red male candle. I read a spell where you make wax image to resemble you husband or lover and you place it over a fire and recite a prayer and write his name on the figure three times. Can you elaborate and tell of one I can use I have a red male figure candle and I want to do it right? than you
Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
That doesn't sound like any spell using a figure candle that I know of. You can take your candle and carve the name of your man on it, dress the candle with some love oil and pray that he loves you or loves you more. Then burn it. Also, do a search on the forum for "figure candle spells" and read old threads; there's lots of info there

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
I just completed a come to me spell and I noticed that the male candle melted way down faster than the female candles? Like twice as fast. I did 2 spells and they both did the same. The female candle kept lit for like 4 to 5 hours longer than the male candle. Whats up with that? There was no way for the wax to melt together if the one candle burned out way faster. The male candle was melting and down to the base and the female candle was still around the hips. The male candles are also smaller than the female candles as in diameter. Is the spell ruined now because of the candles not burning down evenly and one going out hrs before the others?
Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Good Evening, Dan158,
No, the spell is not ruined.
For candle wax interpretation, try this link www.luckymojo.com/candlemagicdivination.html
You had mentioned that one candle was smaller than the other. Where were they purchased?
Have a good evening

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Im new to candle magic and so far everything has been working out for me. I want to try figure candles for a particular spell, but I cant leave them burning all day. I was wondering is it possible for me to just burn them at night for like 15 minutes or something them put them up. If so, is there a special way to hide them. Thanks in advance.

Hi redlocs,
I've merged your question into the existing thread on figural candle work where you'll find lots of useful information to help you out.
In short, yes you can burn the candle in section, snuffing it between burn sessions. You'll find how to do that (including the storage between burns) explained in detail at the following informational page: http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagic.html#dressing
A great book (and inexpensive!) to give you the ins and outs of candle work which is a ''must-have'' of the art can be found here: http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagic.html#dressing

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Hello all. I was doing a love spell using the red male and female figural candle. I anointed both candles with love oil, wrote our name on our respective candles and put them face to face. I had to burn the candles for an hour a day until they burned out. Well this morning the male candle was completely burned out and the wax spilled all over the counter while the female candle is still in tact and has proudly a few more days to go before burning out completely. Today was only day two. How should I interpret this?

Hello, Sweetbkdiva,
I'm sorry, but we do not do these interpretations on the forum.

Also, Miss cat's book is also very helpful www.luckymojo.com/artofhoodoocandlemagic.html

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
I've been doing come to me 7 days spell using figural woman and man naked candles (I'm a woman by the way) I just completed my third day today but seems like it's just woman's candle melting and burning faster. Male candle is taking so long that it didn't melt much. However the flame was strong and perfect. What does it mean? Should I just let this woman candle burn out then still continue the male candle alone? Will this spell be effective? I bought these 2 candles from 2 different stores if it has something to do. Please help me.
Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Hello, Beaautiful_world,
Buying the candles from 2 different stores doesn't make for a good candle reading.
It is preferred that you buy the same quality of wax, the same wick quality, etc.
Lucky Mojo has very high quality candles and I highly suggest theirs: www.luckymojo.com/mojocatcandles.html
If you have bought the same candles, I would have suggested that you take a look at this page for interpretation: www.luckymojo.com/candlemagicdivination.html
But, like I had said, it's hard to perform a divination with this.
Take care

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Hello everyone,
I have a coworker who is a big gossip and who is always sniffing around to find out dirt about everyone, including me. I would like to try Miss Cat's spell involving the black figural candle that you lay on a red cloth with blackberry leaves and hit with a hammer while calling out loud what you want to return to the sender (i.e., a bad reputation, since he likes to ruin everyone's reputation).
My questions: What oil should I anoint it with?
What prayer should I say when I bury it in the graveyard?
Do I need to pay (with whiskey? With a silver dime?) the graveyard spirits?
FWIW, I plan to do Stop Gossip work on him, and I already carry a Stop Gossip mojo bag.

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Hello, sakura,
Yes! I know this spell!! I have performed it many times with success!!!
If you go back to that page, www.luckymojo.com/spells/black/revengespells.html
you will see what oils you can use. The type of oil depends on the severity of harm that you want to induce. So, you could use other oils.
I personally don't say a prayer when I am burying it (some rootworkers do). I just scream and command it (according to what I want the command to be). Make sure that you are mad and endangered. Be commanding! OR, theother option is to politely ask the spirits to take this person to (wherever) or to keep this person under their watch.
I always leave a dime. But, I usually add something else. If they smoked, I leave a lit cigarette. If they drank, I leave alcohol. Or you can leave flowers. But the minimal requirement is a dime. I don't leave a silver dime. I just leave a dime.
Hope this helps
I love this spell!!

So glad to hear this works! Thank you!
Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
I am burning a red male figural candle with love me oil. I wrote my petitions on the paper and placed that under the candle along with his picture, name and a piece of blood stained cloth that he used for a cut. I also carved the same in the candle along with his name. I started last night. Slow burn at first. I only did about 45 minutes last night. Today as soon as the flame hit the candles midsection it took off and burned down to the legs so far. It is now almost to the base and this was within minutes. A majority of the wax has pooled in the front of the candle. His poppet is also sitting next to the candle with a come to me gris gris in it's lap. Is this a good sign or should it be repeated?

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Hi all - just want to start by saying this is my first post under my new username, I am formerly ImaBalloon
I need to buy more supplies so I would love your feedback on my plan. The situation is reconciliation with an ex - I have a honey jar going on which I am burning red, light blue, and - soon - pink candles. I've also done a red skull. I've had nice movement over the past 12 days, we are in contact and we are not fighting, he talks readily but he is still not initiating contact. Our relationship is obviously in need of repair. After researching through LM I decided would like to give figure candles a try, and I've watched Madame Pamita's video on a reconciliation spell. I am wondering though if I should do two separate figure spells or if they could be combined into one, that's what I would appreciate advice on:
1. I was thinking to first do Madame Pamita's reconciliation spell, with the two light blue figures, reconciliation oil and the Balm of Gilead pods, to give the relationship a dose of pure healing energy.
2. Then, I was thinking to follow this up with a moving candle spell with two pink figures, and to these add Love Me, Crucible of Courage and Return to Me.
So based on my situation, do you think I should do it in two-part fashion like this, or should I do just the second version with an additional inclusion of Reconciliation products? Based on some things I have read on the forum, we are technically "reconciled" - we are in contact and getting along well - but he is resisting getting back into a romantic relationship. It also seems that light blue and pink can both be used for reconciliation. (And yes - I have made note of Conjureman Ali's Overcoming Resistance spell and will be getting those supplies as well!
)
Thanks so much in advance

Hello, Jess-Belle ,
I will have to get used to your new user name. I like it, though
I personally prefer the two part idea. It gives more focus and clarity (in my opinion).
Wishing you success with this (and please keep us posed)
Take care

Hi pcgarcia88,
Welcome to the forum! When you get a chance (and assuming you wish to do so), please introduce yourself in the Introductions thread.
We do not perform candle divination on the forum, but in general when one side burns down faster than the other, it suggests that person is more affected by the spell. Here is a wonderful page that Miss Cat wrote on how to interpret signs from candles in more detail. Have a read through it and I'm sure you will find your answers.

Re: Male & Female Figural Candles: Adam, Eve, Lady, Man
Hi Everyone,
I just had a question about a love moving come to me candle spell I did that just ended today. I have done this spell before but NEVER got results like this and I'm just asking for possible opinions and I hope anyone can help me.
I've been doing other spells for me and my target but in this spell the male (my target) candle burned really fast and left a puddle of wax but with some attachment to the female (me) candle at the base, but the female burned out like over ten hours later. It burned down to clean surface and actually burned rest of the male candle all the way down to the picture of my target I had placed underneath his candle. All that's left is a circle of wax with a clean center that has my targets picture half burned. Throughout the entire 7 days the flames where tall and strong.
I'm not sure if this is a good or bad sign??...
Thanks
