Hello guys,

I hope this had not been discussed here yet but I have three questions that may seemed stupid but I really need advice
1.) I am burning a white skull candle with 4 offertory candles (from this spell I found) - and the flame of the offertory candles are always higher than the skulls.. does this mean anything? (I did anoint the oil and carve it with what i want to happen on the 4 candles too)

2.) when I started burning the candles/start the ritual i should not be adding oils and herbs days after I start burning it right?

Or can i?

3.) If I were to start a Black Skull candle - in the hopes to get that person to leave a relationship - I can anoint it with break up oil and/or separation oil right?

No, the cigar is not absolutely necessary. I perform many skull candle spells a month and rarely use cigars

I actually was trying to figure out how to post in the appropriate sub-forum and thread but i'm having a hard time figuring out how to do it. burned the white skull candle with tranquility oil and influence oil to calm the person down and to make him not angry at me anymore and due to living situations i had to burn it throughout the night. It burned down but the mouth and part of the nose stayed in tact, fell forward and the top part of the back of the skull melted but bent backwards. Not sure if this is a good sign so should i burn another white skull candle tonight ?

It would be hard to determine without actually looking at the left over wax and what have you to know for certain and we are not able to do candle readings on the forum since it is a service offered by the readers at AIRR (www.readersandrootworkers.org). When in doubt though I say light another one. It is not like more tranquility will be harmful to a person!

Is it necessary to load the skull candle with herbs? Or can a worker just sprinkle herbs around the skull, on whatever plate or heatproof surface the skull is resting on? I'm still anointing it with oils, as well, and I fully intend on adding my herbs into my honey jar, as I know skull candles and honey jars are complimentary workings.

Hi Star Anise,

It's not necessary, you could sprinkle herbs on or around the skull instead. Personally, I have gotten the best results with a loaded skull candle but your mileage may vary.

I just want to make sure I understand the process of loading the skull; you poke it with holes (something like a chopstick is good, I assume), place small amounts of the herbs in the holes, fill the holes back up with wax from another candle of the same colour. Is that right?

Yes, you poke the skull to create holes in which you insert the herbs and seal them up with melted wax from another candle. You're on the right track.

Star Anise,

I use a small screw driver , heat it in a candle flame and slowly melt it into the candle.. while doing this I usually make a prayer to effect their mind or get into it. I add the oil and seal it with the herbs. Or melt it shut with wax and then dress the candle with oil and herbs. Heat the item and move it slowely into the skull so the candle dont break, it may take several times to heat it to make the whole so it dont break.. thats ok.

If you consider that the skull is supposed to represent, or be the head of a certain person loading you can choose from "putting things in X head", "put things to surround X" and so on. Loading it means to put things in it in the manner described above, but as you can see there are many ways to apply herbs, oils and such to fit your spell.

Another question about the skull candle; I know my target stays up fairly late and sleeps in during the mornings; while most people say that it's best to do it at night while the target is asleep, is it acceptable to do it in the early morning when I know for CERTAIN he'll be asleep? I thought it might also prompt him to think the thoughts when he first wakes up.

Yes, you can absolutely do that.

Some schools of thought is that late in the night (up to 3:00 am) is the: "Bewitching hour". So, it kills 2 birds with one stone: target is asleep during the bewitching hour.

So, you may want to consider working it both ways

I know the answer is on here somewhere but I can't find it for the life of me, so I figured I'd ask;

How long do folks usually burn skull candles for? I know they usually run about 7 days, but how long should you burn it while you're working it? Do you have to talk to it continuously while it's burning, or am I able to talk to it for about 15-20 minutes before letting it burn by itself for say an hour?

So far, I've been sitting with it for the past few nights around 3am (last night was 4am because my target was still awake by then...) for about 15-20 minutes just talking to it, reaffirming all of the thoughts that are carved onto the skull; I'm saying them as they're written on the skull, as if they're his thoughts ("I want to be with so and so", as if I'm putting the words into his head) but I'm feeling like I should be saying it as if he's being told what to think ("You want to be with so and so.") Which way is better?

Hi

I previously did a honey jar on my target asking him to come back to me, reconcile with me, be nice to me and move in with me. I think I put too many requests because he has come back, reconciled, he's nicer but the move in aspect has not come into play. So I moved onto influence oil but im not seeing the results I want.

I am considering getting a white scull candle, annoiting it with commanding oil, filling it with the influence herb "calamus root chips" and then carving my bfs name date of birth and the words "move in with me" on the outside of the candle. I want to then place the candle on top of a picture of my boyfriend with my petition on the back of it. I was planning on baptizing this candle and talking to it over the course of a week prior to lighting it and of course talking to the candle as it's burning.

Would placing the "move in with me scull candle" on top of the honey jar be okay if Id like to use commanding oil. Or is that oil too coercive for the honey jar?

Also, should I maybe first do a black scull candle to get him to move out of his current living situation in order to enhance the work? Can I maybe burn the two candles at once? Of course keeping the black candle seperate from my honey jar

I have a quick question about the red skull candle. I started on my spell on Saturday but the candle is burning very very very slow. I don't think it will fully burn in the 7 day time frame. So my question is do I have to burn it for 10-15 min a day or can it burn longer? Today I burned it for 3 hrs. Is that over doing it for one day? And also if it doesn't burn completely within the 7 days what do I do from there?

I think 10-15 minutes is just the minimum amount of time you should burn a candle in order to thoroughly communicate your petition to the universe. If you have more time, it is good to burn it longer.
If I am burning mine for an extended period of time, I will check in on it every 30 min or so and repeat my commands.

Hello fellow forum folk,

I posted at the end of July regarding some skull candle work I had planned out thanks to the radio show on skulls candles with Miss Aida Conjureman Ali and Miss Cat. I queried using the 'cast off evil' oil on my skull candle for my friend (worrying I would cast him away for his recent not so nice behaviour instead of his new girlfriend who is indeed evil) but the effect was really quick and strong. He said just about every word I whispered to the skull back to me.....verbatim.

It was only a month after I did the skull that he messaged one night saying terrible things about her and that night particularly, she had not only punched him in the face, but passed out drunk and vomited in bed (what a catch huh?) and all the following week abused him verbally. I was kind of sad to watch my normally manly friend, be so aggressively dominated by this woman. He admitted she is indeed an alcoholic and believes she has a mental disorder and that she is selfish, unsupportive and manipulative. Anyway they did break up over the period of a few days and much to my chagrin, (although I sense there are still major issues he has not disclosed them to me), they have returned to their relationship. His face tells me everything....he is empty and he admits he is miserable (if love is so grand, why the misery?). Turns out she has convinced him to delete and block me from his social media and him being fearful of her drunken antics while she is on tour with her band....has relented. This was my best friend and soul brother and now I am majorly pissed! Anyway, I do know through readings that they will separate for good in the near future, so I wanted to avoid doing break up work and I thought I would do a follow up skull, much the same way as before.

So I have one little query, in the last one I did I added clarity oil and cast off evil oil...so he would see she was bad and cast her away from his life. I also followed miss Aida's advice to put a little doggie doo doo on her photos and inserted them into the skulls eyes so he would see how shit she was (such an awesome idea!!) Would Banishing oil be okay to use on the skull as well to banish HER from his life even though the skull is for him and baptised as him? Or would I perhaps me better off anointing her photos with banishing oil? Or not use it at all in this work? I absolutely to do not want him further away from me then he already has gone.

I don't know, but if this were me, I'd be doing break up work on them.

I know you don't want to BUT...He's got some sort of emotional problems himself to be enduring this and I hate to read or hear about anybody being abused. I'd do it just to protect him.

Thank you for the advice, I will absolutely take it on board. You are right, he does have many emotional issues as most women he has been with have abused him. He chooses the most toxic ones possible and this one win the grand prize. That is the problem between him and I and why our amazing friendship is all but dead, I refuse to enable him and the relationship or accept her. He deserves better, he is just drowning in the chemical romance. I have done everything in the real world to try to reach him, but you are right, I need to protect him.

Burned a white skull candle for influence of thinking of me and no fighting with me but when i looked at it in the middle of the night the entire front face was intact/standing but the eyes were completely burned out/missing,two hold literally !!! It eventually burned all the way down but i can still picture the face with the eyes missing, freaky !! Anyone know what this may mean ???

Hi everyone! What's the best way to work a single skull candle on a target you'd like more affection and attention from?
Should I start inscribing thoughts my target is not that far from ("I think Mezan is beautiful," falls under this since we've been having sex and he's attracted to me) to "I need to see Mezan often" then maybe on the last day "I love Mezan" ? Or do you work the thoughts exactly as you want them without regard to how far the target is from them at the time of the work? Would going all out instead of working gradually require more coercive products?

I plan to use Come to Me and Love Me, and probably Influence Oil as well. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I have a question. I did a red skull candle on last week. The entire time I was burning it things where looking good. My target was calling me texting me and he even came by my house. After the candle was done and I buried it it seems like all that has stopped. I text him last night and I didn't get a response. Could this be a sign that I need to burn another candle or do I need to give it more time?

The last time I did a skull candle I got a little carried away with all the "thoughts" I was carving into the target's head and I think my work ended up a little unfocused.

I'm about to start a black skull on a woman who has been slandering me and meddling in my personal relationships. She is narcissistic, erratic, and emotional. I want to either push her over the edge and watch her self destruct, or send her away. I'm just not sure which will yield a better result, and was wondering what kind of thoughts I can inscribe into the candle to keep my work focused and get the job done?

It depends on what the targets situation is. Lets say she has a boss that does not like employees to be outspoken to customers. Then you could inscribe the tought "NN, you are always right, not the costumer and you must teach them that" or "You know you are correct when you yell to the costumers. The more you yell the better the service". When it comes to stopping slander you could inscribe the thought "Talking about NN does not seem to harm you but in fact it will get you killed in a near future".
Which of the thoughts get the job done is a matter for divination to show.

I am wondering if the use of menstrual blood on a skull candle, inside it's mouth is meant to have a bit of a similar purpose as feeding it to the actual target? Once I'm home from my trip, I could do this and look forward to good results despite having only a picture as my current personal concern. I am hoping Come to Me Oil can help bring about more interaction with my distant target, who used to initiate contact and plan meeting more before.

Hi Mezan,

Putting menstrual blood on a candle won't have the same effect as getting your target to ingest it. The idea is to get your blood into your target's body, and this can only be accomplished by feeding it to them.

Reading more posts on here, I'm starting to think I may have carved too many thoughts on my skull. There were all variations of the same thing, such as, "I love Star Anise, I need Star Anise, I miss Star Anise, I want to be with Star Anise, I want to get back togrther with Star Anise, Star Anise is my one and only."

When speaking to the skull, I usually whisper my words into the ear and I've taken to lighting patchouli insense and speaking through the smoke, and I repeat, "You love Star Anise, you need Star Anise, you miss Star Anise, you want to be with Star Anise, you want to get back together with Star Anise." I also loaded it with herbs, rolled a petition into the bottom for him to return to me, and I dressed it with Reconciliation, Love Me, Dixie Love, and Follow Me Boy Oils with a light sprinkling of Return to Me powder.

Is it possible I put too many thoughts on the skull? My thought process was that I would just be on his mind in every capacity.

Hi Star Anise,

Baby steps.

Think of the process you want for him in a linear fashion - missing you, wanting to see you, reconciling with you, loving you, being devoted to you. These are like rungs on a ladder, and you wouldn't race up a ladder in one step any more than you want to do so with spell work.

So break it down into increments and work each step accordingly. Then, when you start to get movement, proceed to the next step. Skull candles are amazing and can be very effective, but you may be overwhelming him with too many ideas at once and he won't know how to respond.

Thank you; this helps a lot! I figured he would take a few skulls because he's stubborn as hell, and I knew it would be a long process for him. The hardest part is staying patient. I'm going to finish up my current skull candle (I've already burnt it for over a week, it's been a slow burn on it, but I take that to mean it'll have stronger hold in the future) and then look at ordering a few more skulls.

Should I do a different skull for each step? Say two white, one for getting him to miss me and the other to get him to want to see me, and the gradually get up to red again and use two for reconciliation and then devotion?

My skull candle has been burning pretty well. The wick was slightly off center to start, so one side of it burned down further than the other near the ear area, and the face and back of the skull are sill intact. The wax is dripping out of the ear however. I'm not asking for a reading on this as I know divination a can't be given over the forum; I'm just asking what this could signify.

So I am thinking of doing a red skull candle ritual, but had some questions first. Lately I've been working to build up my skills as a rootworker, and I especially want to become more skilled in the areas of persuasion and influence magic. I'm happily married and not looking for a sexual affair with anyone else, but I would like to do a "love spell" to make my target think warm and favorable thoughts toward me, want to serve me, do favors for me etc.

Is it okay if I pick someone who I'm not that closely connected to already? Not necessarily just a random person off the street, but look for signs from the Universe about an acquaintance I can work on? I'm not looking to create any crazy stalkers so I wouldn't be forcing "love" into an unwilling person's head, just amplifying any favorable thoughts they may already have toward me and introducing thoughts about doing nice things for me. I did a divination already and it seemed positive, and I'm already pretty skilled at mojo working and have all the ingredients on hand. It just seems like most people here are working on their own husbands or boyfriends and I'd rather avoid that. He's plenty devoted to me already and he gets annoyed when I work roots on him

So, I am trying to process what you are saying here. . . you want to do love work on someone other than your devoted, loving husband. And, your purpose is to test out your hoodoo skills at persuasion and influence. But, you don't want to create any stalkers or force anyone against his will? Why don't you go have a seat? Just kidding, but seriously, have you been reading this forum?

The majority of us are on here, because we are in despair about some aspect of our lives (i.e. work, health, love, etc.) that is not going well. You are looking for someone to toy with emotionally just to see if you are good at spiritual work. This does not sound like it will be justified. It sounds pretty cruel to make someone fall in love with you and become your servant, and you have no intention of reciprocating it.

Maybe you should re-think this a bit. Do you have a slandering, snake in the grass at work you want to shut up or go get you coffee everyday? Or maybe you want your children to show you more appreciation by bringing you breakfast in bed on the weekends? If your husband isn't cheating, you have money to pay the bills, and your health is good, you are truly blessed. Maybe you should do a white skull with some clarity oil on it for yourself, so you know what you are aiming for with your spellwork. Because, I can't see spirits wanting to waste their time on such frivolity.

I have a few questions... I'll be doing the shull candle spell like starsinthesky7 wrote it and will be using:

Commanding oil
Follow Me Boy Oil
Licorice Root
Catnip
Damiana
Cardamom Seeds
menstrual blood/sexual fluids

I know Miss Cat wrote I can crush the herbs and roots in a mortar and pestle first, then add the oils to make a mix, but I was wondering do I add menstrual blood to the mix too, or I just put it on my target's photo like stars wrote?
If I put my target's and my photo under the candle, do I also put his picture into the skull candle along with the petition?

I have been saving a black skull candle for some time, and have finally decided to use it on a love interest of mine. I originally bought it for an enemy, but I have none of her personal concerns and I am trying to figure out how I can use this candle to turn him against her.

I want to know if I can use something like poppy seeds or goofer dust to confuse him/cause strife without that spilling into our relationship?
I would also like to know if I can use this candle to turn him against more than one person, or if that would be too much to load onto one candle?

The problem is that your work must be justified. This doesn't sound justified

Why don't you, instead, find somebody who needs a spell like this? Do it for free. That way, the spell is justified and you are making someone happy.

Each way that you have proposed is absolutely fine.

Or you could do all of them.

I put pictures inside and underneath candles.

No matter how you do it, all the methods are correct

Hello, misskitty49,

I think that it would be a mistake to add those ingredients to the candle.

In fact, I wouldn't even use that candle on him at all.

Why don't you get a white skull candle and put clarity on it and use the black one for her (just write "Love rival on it and use all the ingredients you have mentioned) and then have them face each other and light them?

Is there is alternative way I can dress this candle to sour people's opinion of my enemy? My vinegar jars keep failing and I think it's because nobody believes she is capable of what she is doing to me (she's not a love rival, she just keeps manipulating my friends and lying). Many of my friends (including this man) have turned on me since she started her smear campaign, and I'd like to make them feel like fools for believing her lies.

I was going to use this candle to make her feel crazy, but it looks like that is happening on it's own! I kind of want to push it along by turning these people away from her.
