Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
tdp 450,
Having the Lucky Mojo label is to your advantage, as they have a reputation for top quality. Putting your name on the products would imply that you made them and is rather insulting to the people at Lucky Mojo who put so much effort into putting out some of the best products I have ever used.

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
Thanks for your replies and let me explain why I asked the question. I love the labels and Lucky Mojo and would be proud to have them. The reason I asked the question is in regards to residual customers. If I sell a lotion or such with the Lucky Mojo info on it they would have no need to buy from me anymore when they could buy directly from Lucky Mojo. I would like to build a clientele that I build locally, but if they have access to the main company it might be hard to do so. I meant no disrespect at all and again, I do appreciate the replies, I was just curious as to the best way of keeping the people I sell too as my personal customers.
Thanks again

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
tdp 450,
I don't work for Lucky Mojo, and hopefully Miss Cat will step in and give up the final word on this, but if I was in Lucky Mojo's position, I certainly would not sell you anything without the company information on it. The people buying the products have a right to know who actually made them and how to get in touch with them. It is a bit dishonest to try and sell a lucky Mojo product without all the information on its label, as you then imply that you made it.
I would think it not right to put your name on a product that, you did not make. Why should it have your contact information on it?

I would have to agree here with Turnsteel. These are Lucky Mojo products and should be represented as such...at all times. Especially for resale.

tdp 450 --
Funny how no grocery store objects to cans of Coca Cola having the corporate address for Coke on the cans, and no feed store objects to the address for Purina Hen Scratch being on the 50 lb. sack. I buy my Coca Cola at a Safeway and my hen scratch at Frizelle Enos Feed Store -- not from the manufacturer.
How do you keep customers if you sell another company's products? Why, the old-fashioned way, with great service, a good selection, and plenty of personal information and assistance. We do it ourselves, selling McLean's liniment, Chinese herbal pharamceuticals, Indian brands of incense, Hoyt's Cologne, and Murray & Lanman's Colognes. We don't pretend they are ours!
We think that if you establish a good, local customer base, you will do quite well selling Lucky Mojo supplies. Plenty of people do!

Hi,
I desperatly need some LM products and was wondering if there is a wholesale store that sells LM products in Australia? If there isn't - maybe there's something I could look into....

Does anyone know if Twigs Magikal Thrift Shoppe is affiliated with Twigsadmin on ebay? Or if maybe they are in fact the same people altogether? I messaged this ebay store http://myworld.ebay.com/twigsadmin?_trk ... 7675.l2559 to ask if they are a licensed Lucky Mojo Reseller. I'll post an update when (if) I receive a reply.
P.S. Miss.Cat, I'm not trying to advertise for anyone. I purchased from 13moons, before I knew about Lucky Mojo and your authentic, potent items. The deleted posts were posted by a genuinely ignorant Lucky Mojo Forum newbie. No harm intended.

While the majority of my supplies will come directly from Lucky Mojo, it would be nice to find a Lucky Mojo reseller a little closer to home, or that can get items shipped quickly for things that need taken care of in a rushed manner if need be.

Twigs admin on ebay sent a reply that they aren't licensed, but, that they have a wholesale account with Lucky Mojo. Whether or not that's good enough, I don't know. Answers don't seem easy to come by around these parts lol Ah well.

Hi TrynaKnowNGrow,
I believe that in order to be a *licensed* LMCC retailer, you have to have a physical shop that people can visit. Twigs online shop may very well have a wholesale account with LMCC; you can call the shop during their regular business hours (Sun-Sat 9-5 PST) to verify. The phone number is 707-887-1521.

Actually, one can be an authorized Lucky Mojo reseller, as I am, and sell online. One needs to be a graduate of the Lucky Mojo course and have a business license.

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
Clearing up some confusion:
There is no such thing as a "licensed" Lucky Mojo reseller.
We sell wholesale all over the country and all over the world. Shop owners and online resellers who arry Lucky Mojo spiritual supplies are not required to take or to graduate from my Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course.
There are graduates of my Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course who list themselves as "certified practitioners." They are people who have studied under me and who know they can come back to me for private instructions as long as i live, should they need my help. These graduates may or may not be retailers, either online or in a shop.
Two separate groups, with a bit of overlap.

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
So with the authorized dealers, will they usually do a special order on something they don't usually carry?
Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
Good Morning, Bulldogge,
It would be very difficult to say who would do what. You would have to contact them individually and ask.
However, for special Lucky Mojo orders, it would make more sense to call Lucky Mojo's shop and ask them if they will make a special order for you.
Here is the phone number: 1-707-887-1521
Have a great day!

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
bulldogge,
Lucky Mojo makes and sells products online -- and most of our affiliated retailers also sell online.
We do not operate franchise stores -- so if an independent occult shop near you carries Lucky Mojo goods, you would call them and ask what they have in stock.
If the item you wanted was not in stock, you could either order from us directly, and we would ship it to you by mail order, or you could arrange for an independent occult shop near you to order from Lucky Mojo on your behalf, with their next wholesale order.
Good luck!

Yes, I sell on ebay from my home in Marysville. If you come down here let me know, and I can meet you somewhere. Marysville is a few hours away, and not too scary. There is an outlet mall and two casinos, which a lot of Canadians like to visit, and there are tour buses that come through here.bulldogge wrote:Do you have a store in Marysville? Good Morning, Sky4343,
I saw your post yesterday. I didn't answer it because I thought that maybe another moderator might know and answer you.
When nobody did, I just now went to that website.
I didn't see any familiar names (although I don't know everybody's name who are Retailers of Lucky Mojo).
That's all I can tell you. I am so sorry for not being able to answer your question.
Take Care and have a great day

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
Hi there.
I am currently located in Japan where there are either no metaphysical stores or none that speak English. I am American but while my husband is here for military duty, I am looking to open up a small business out of my home to sell products and I know a lot of my friends have been trying to get their hands on LM products but are turned off by not only the international shipping charge but the fact that because it is international, it is impossible for the products to get here within the same week, let alone overnight. I want to be able to supply it out of a little shop in my home.
I do have an EIN... would that be enough to qualify to sell wholesale? I am honestly not sure how to go about getting a reseller license as I am not Japanese and my citizenship is in America and my clientele are military or their spouses.

You might well want to call the shop directly to ask - it's certainly the fastest way to get a complete answer on the subject! Good luck and success setting up shop

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
Each state has its own differing system of state tax ID numbers, business license numbers, etc. for which they collect fees -- and some cities have additional licenses and fees -- but In your case, a US EIN number should be enough, since you are on a US Federal military base and not operating within or subject to the laws of any particular state's business licensing procedures. I am sure that if this is wrong, a tax collector will eventually knock on your door and tell you so.

I would also like to apply for a wholesale account with Lucky Mojo. I just got my approval from the City to do it at home and would love to get going on this. My business will be home based and located in Wyoming for the meantime, because we are planning on moving to Pennsylvania next July. So, what do I need to do to apply for a wholesale account?

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
I contacted one of the Lucky Mojo authorized resellers listed on your website (Oseaana December) to know if I could purchase some Lucky Mojo products from her retail store since Luck Mojo Curio Co. do not ship to some certain countries, but this was her reply "I no longer carry Lucky Mojo products but do make all the products I sell myself using traditional recipes." If she no longer carry your products, then why list her on your website as an authorized reseller of Luck Mojo products. This could be misleading!
Secondly, I read on her website (http://themoonlitsea.net/pumpkincottage ... about.html) that she is a "Certified Practitioner Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Course" I will like to know if she actually graduated from the Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Correspondence Class organized by Catherine Yronwode as the name does not ring a bell on the readersandrootworkers.org website.

Hello Bluebell,
There are a lot of us students out here so there is a good chance that she took and graduated form cat's course. I think you will likely need to send the shop an e-mail to confirm if she was a student or not. I peeked at her website and she does not seem to be carrying Lucky Mojo products so there would be no reason for her to be listed as a re-seller with Lucky Mojo. I would just shoot an e-mail to the shop and thye can look her up for you. Hope this helps.
Peace~

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
I live out in the Antelope Valley in Southern California and we only had one shop that sold magical supplies. I begged them years ago to start stocking LM products. I don't know why they never did but they are officially out of business this week. So, I got my resale licens from the State of California and have submitted it to LM to be able to resell their products. I am looking forward to making my first wholesale purchase soon!

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
To all who wonder about whether a company online is actually carrying Lucky Mojo products.
We sometimes wonder ourselves!
I think it's time to update our Retailers list at http://luckymojo.com/mojocatretailers.html
I just went through our database and found 428 wholesale records -- that is, 428 companies that at one time or another, over the past 20 years, were wholesale customers of ours.
These records are permanent in the database. However, that doesn't mean that they can be exported from the database and you will have a "clean list" of retail shops that stock Lucky Mojo products!
Here is the extent of the variables:
A) Some shops carry Lucky Mojo products in retail storefronts. They are open to the public and they can be visited. They deserve huge thanks for their support and service to customers in their local communities. Their LOCATIONS and HOURS OF OPERATION are important to the listings we give to them because folks can actually go to their shops to see, touch, and smell our Lucky Mojo products. In addition, some of these shops have an online sales outlet as well, through web stores, on ebay, at amazon, and via social media; it will be our pleasure to list their web site URLs as well as their physical locations.
B) Some shops sell online only, they make their offerings available through venues like ebay, web stores, amazon, and social media. Good, trusted folks; they sometimes ship to countries we do not ship to, or have items in stock which we are out of, or they accept a form of payment that we do not (such as Paypal or Western Union), or their shipping costs are lower than ours. They may not keep set hours and the public cannot visit their shops. They are trusted outlets for our goods serving internet customers only, and they belong on our lists of Lucky Mojo retailers, but they will only be listed by their web site URLs.
C) Some of the shops used to sell our products and received publicity from us for that reason, but later decided not to carry our goods any more and yet still (falsely) remain on our list of places to buy Lucky Mojo products. They will need to either order from us again or be removed from our lists of Lucky Mojo retailers.
D) Some of the shops are no longer in business. They need to be removed from our online lists of Lucky Mojo retailers.
We want to avoid having to track each one down (after all, there are 428 of them).
We do have email addresses for them, and we should first send each of them a form letter asking what their status is (A, B, C, or D) -- but emails are often overlooked, so we will also need a secondary source of information.
I propose using the shop's database for that.
Ernie and i have established a cut-off date for the type C and type D shops. If more than 2 years have elapsed with no wholesale order, we shall assume that they no longer carry Lucky Mojo prodcts or are no longer in business.
This leaves us with 141 ACTIVE wholesale accounts.
However, some of these wholesale accounts are bookstore, not occult shops, and they only carry our books. These will have to be eliminated by hand or via a SKU-based script to produce a record of shops that carry Lucky Mojo spiritual supplies.
The database will need a extra field.
NEW FIELD: A 2-way radio-button that is set to "physical store" or "web only" will allow us to know whether to suppress the street location if they are "web only."
POSSIBLE NEW FIELD (PLEASE DISCUSS): Hours of operation. This data would have to be collected via email.
NEW DATA SET: The store name, proprietor name, street address, phone number, email, and web store URL they propagate to the public (which may be different than their billing info and/or their shipping/receiving info.
NEW LOOK FOR WEB PAGE at http://luckymojo.com/mojocatretailers.html:
Two-column layout:
Column 1 is sorted alphabetically by state and then by town, and lists stores that carry Lucky Mojo spiritual supplies that have physical locations, including also the name of the proprietor (and HRCC Student #, if any), the street address (and possibly hours of operation), store phone number, plus the store's email address and webstore URL (if any).
Column 2 is sorted alphabetically by store name and lists both web-only stores plus the webstore URLs for those that are physical stores with a web store. The latter get double-listed because they offer our products via multi-channel marketing. Additional dlata included would be the name of the proprietor (and HRCC Student #, if any), the store's phone number, plus the store's email address and webstore URL.
QUESTION 1: If a store wishes us to suppress the proprietor name, or to substitute a pseudonym, shall we list them? We already have a pseudonym field in the database, but if we create a new data-set for the pupose of exporting these wholesale records to an html page, the pseudonym could be picked up from the "Contact Name" field if a pseudonymous contact name were entered. This is similar to the way we currently handle shipping addresses versus billing addresses for companies that have a warehouse receiver (the shipping contact person) who is not the owner of the company's credit card (the billing contact person).
QUESTION 2: If a web-only store wishes us to suppress the phone number and/or the email, shall we list them? Would only ONE of those two contact points be sufficient for a listing? We want to (a) avoid shady characters, (b) provide the best possible listings for fans of Lucky Mojo products, and (c) eliminate "buyer's clubs" which are misusing our wholesale terms in order to purchase items at a bulk discount but are not actually reselling them. PLEASE DISCUSS.

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
Hello Kaboodle, I can not say if that store carries LMCco. Products but just in poking around their website I do not see anything on there that looks like it came from LMCco.
For Miss Cat, I am wondering what a persons reason for suppressing their name (from Question 1) Or suppressing the phone/e-mail (question 2). My initial gut kind of reaction is to say don't list them if they want to hide stuff, but I suppose there may be good reasons to do so that I am not thinking of?
peace~

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
Placed my first wholesale order today! Angela and Leslie at the shop were very helpful in teaching me how and what to order.
I can't wait to start posting on Facebook as that's how I'll be selling them for now.

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
@miss Aida
Thank you so much for the information.
sad to say i only saw listings for places in the united states -- California, new york,Chicago? (i think). but none in Toronto… which sucks big time.
i don't really trust [factory-made] products, especially after reading the reviews from many people online, and sadly that's all you really find here in Toronto. (yuk)
The occult shop here in Toronto is all right but they seemed really shady when i asked them who it is that ships their oils. I also asked them if they would be able to carry Lucky Mojo curios and they just said no that's not something they would do.
So now I'm gonna see what i can do.
Toronto is filled with a lot of Wiccan pecan neo/pagan,ect.. so shops really only cater to that crowd. its so annoying. maybe ill just have to order online from now on. because believe me i have been doing my research. and i have come up with nothing whats so ever Toronto is really slacking.
P.s if you have any information with online store retailers that accept paypal, and closer to toronto that would be so greatly appreciated.

Hi, morningstar_67 --
Thanks for your interest in our products. You are right -- the [factory made] products you named (i deleted the brand name, as we do not engage in name calling or such here in this forum) are not hand-made occult goods like ours are. End of story.

Hello Morningstar_67,
I think you may also be able to find retailers on e-bay who carry Miss Cat's Lucky Mojo products. That would be a way for you to use paypal I believe.
Peace~

Re: Wholesale Ordering Questions and Answers
morningstar_67 the other option that you have is to send a snail mail order to Lucky Mojo with a money order. This is going to take much longer than it would if you ordered online, but it is an option if a credit card isn't something you want to deal with.

Hi LM, I'd like to know if the list of LM resellers is up to date? http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatretailers.html
I'm looking for US West Coast resellers. The closer to Northern California, the better.
Can someone provide current links to West Coast resellers?
