The AIRR Tech Team joined today to conjugate a new web page on Adam and Eve, the parents of humanity. Their story is widely known through Biblical and other sources, but its interpretation varies from a celebration of naked sexuality and fertility to a cautionary tale of sin and repentance. Miss Michaele wrote the page, Nagasiva Yronwode provided the Pamela Colman Smith illustration and created the graphic announcement, and Catherine Yronwode edited the text and supplied site-wide linking. Hi and happy Sunday,

I need clarification on a separation spell i am planning.

Girl at work makes it so that my boss is angry at me, sees flaws in my work that aren't really there, i am forgetful, i can't think straight and I am seen as uncooperative and difficult, i started feeling a spirit on my back all this week. She portrays herself as being so nice to everyone, and is such a kiss-ass. Stretches the truth to make herself look like she is the problem solver and has things under control. I can go on and on. I am so tired of dealing with this, it's been 3 yrs now, she wants me to leave, but i refuse to let someone run me out.

I had a reversible candle going, ended last night Saturday (started Tuesday night), jar has about 1/3 on bottom clear and the top two-third is jet black in soot.

it was suggested (in this forum but in freezer spell section) that i make a "break up" spell using figure candle. should i use both black for her and him? or a white for him and a black for her? I'll be using separation oil, and lemon verbena herb with scissors separating them.

i will be doing another jinx / uncrossing bath tonight for myself.

any other recommendations are welcome. thank you in advance.

not sure if this is the correct page to post.

i made a "cord-cutting" or "separation" candle ritual with 2 small pillar candles (1 white, 1 black). I used a cord, or actually a paper bag type cord to tie them together, used separation oil, lemon verbena herbs. white candle was on the left, black candle to the right, used open scissors between them as well. candles were burning fine, the white candle dripped south and towards the right, the black candle burned north and towards the left. the white candle burned the "tie" and caught fire towards the black candle. the black candle caught fire because of the cord, it engulfed in flames so the candle burned pretty fast, and puddled around the right candle. at one point, the black candle ended up with twin flames and its' wax surrounded the white candle. the scissors remained in between them, and at one point i went ahead and moved the scissors so that they were open up/down vs laying down.

what can i interpret from this?

should i have used a different type of cord, more like a rope type that would not burn as the other one did?

We do not do candle divination on the forum, this is a service offered by AIRR members. Lucky Mojo does sell books and has information pages available as well.

Cord cutting is a bit of a new term, basically cutting a connection, you used a paper bag which is going to cause a fire. This forum is on using figural candles not pillar candles. A pillar can be used in place but it takes away the symbolism of the work.

Seems you really want to do a separation working on two people. I would use two figural candles dressed in Separation, if you wish, tie a string around them, then cut it at the start of work to symbolically cut the ties Put scissors between them, move them apart daily.

thank you for the reply.

The type of "cord" i had on-hand was a paper type (mache) so that is what i used. I used the pillars, and wrote their names, as i felt the need to get something going. It was really weird, as soon as the "cord" caught fire, my boss texted with a question regarding work.

My relationship with my boss today was like it was before and got along great, so i really think what i did helped. BUT i do want to use the figure candles, so i'll redo the work.

If you would please answer my question regarding the figure candle color (my previous post). should i use white for the male and black for her? or both black?

As for reading divination on the wax, i have the Candle Magic book and answered my own question

Can I use come to me, follow me girl, & look me over to strengthen a mother & daughter relationship

A look at the labels of those products would tell me NO. Come To Me shows a man and woman hugged up in a heart. Follow Me Girl shows a man whistling and snapping his fingers at an unseen woman, Look me Over shows a woman on the streets being whistled at by two men. None of those relate to strenthening a mother and daughter bond.

For a Mother and daughter,i would select two female candles and dress them with Peaceful Home Oil and the oils of their two signs of the zodiac, blended.

Now that you explained this more, i have an improved suggestion for you:

To draw the "lost sheep" home, dress the mother's candle with Return to Me Oil and Peaceful Home Oil. Dress the daughter's candle with Clarity Oil and Healing Oil. Move the daughter's candle toward the mother's as it burns.

If there were arguments at the heart of the separation, add Reconciliation Oil to both candles.

Alsio be prepared to celebrate the restoration of affection and contact. Don't take it for granted -- encourage them to embrace and kiss, and to share a fancy meal together. See the Parable of the Prodical Son in the Book of Luke Chapter 5, where affection and rejoicing are the markers of restoration.

You can still use Peaceful home to serve as a family connection. You can also use Tranquility to bring peace to the relationship, and set a glass of Peace Water next to the candles as you recite Psalms 23 over it, with emphasis on you lead me besides still waters.

Alternative you may burn a a Holy Family Candle next to the two Eve candles dressed with Holy Family oil, while reciting the prayer.

Additional spiritual work, is making a honey jar to reconcile and restore the relationship, burn the two figural candles about 6 inches apart, each day for 7 days move them closer until they are touching in front of the honey jar. Burn them out and continue to work the honey jar to sweeten them together as a family.
