LM oils can be dabbed a Little on the petition papers inside the honey jar without the honey going bad right? Some say that you shouldn't add oils to honey jars since the honey will go bad and some say that you can dab a Little oil on the petition papers to Place inside. I'm confused. Thanks for replying!

Hi everyone. This is my first post here, so forgive my newbie-ness, please.

I just began my first honey-jar spell and I'm wondering if, because I used a jar of marmalade instead of actual honey, that it might spoil while I'm still working it?

You see, I planned to work it until I felt like I'd gotten results and, since it's so cold and frozen now, I'll have to wait to bury it, but I'm suddenly worried that the marmalade will spoil and ruin the spell.

I can't really stick it in the fridge with a candle on top. I'm living with my parents right now....and they are the ones I am trying to sweeten (towards my husband, who they hate, but I love and have a son with. It's complicated and it would be so much less so if they would just accept him and help us be together instead of driving us apart.)
They also see magick as indicative of mental illness (no, I do not have a mental illness) so if they saw it, well, I don't think it would be good.

Thoughts? How long can I keep working this in my room without it growing something?

Ok so I have 3 honey jars going. One for my daughter and her friends to be closer. One to stop other friends from gossiping and being mean to her and one for my hubby to be sweeter and faithful to me. For the 1st jar a couple of the friends are not responding so I was guided in this forum to light separate yellow or purple candles with love me, influence and look me over. Here are my questions.
1. For the honey jars since time is an issue, I burn birthday candles on the honey jars. I dip the candles in the oils, say a prayer and light one and then move on to the next. Is it OK to burn all 3 at once?
2.again for the honey jars, how long do I pray concentrate on each jar? Just say prayers and light candle and imagine outcome? It is about 5 minutes. Should it be more?
3. For the other candles with the look me over, love me and no influence, I am using glass encased candles with the oil.and inscribed with their names and l
petition under it. I put new oil on top with every time I burn it. Is this necessary.
4.i burn the above candles for about 15 minutes but again only prayer over them for less than 5 minutes.is this enough?

Hi there,

My ex and I ended things a few months back. I heard he has a new gf within a week of us splitting. I had a reading done recently (2 weeks ago) and I was told that he is always thinking of me and he will return to me. I am wondering whether I should use a honey jar to speed up the process. He has a gf and I am wondering if that will get in the way??

I don't have any personal belongings of his besides letters he has written to me in the past and photos of him. Will this help??

I planned on doing an honey jar to sweeten everyone I know up to me..family members, my children's other side family, associates just in general I guess you can say..

On the petition do I say everyone that I know etc etc or would a jar have to be done for each person? I'm hoping one jar will do with a general honey spell

hi!

I just started a honey jar today. I noticed that my honey was very thick so I decided to have put the jar in a bowl of warm water. I already had the candle lit. As I was putting the jar into the bowl with warm water, the candle fell and it went off. I quickly put wax on the lid and relight the candle.

Should I start a new honey jar or continue with the same one??? Help!

Hello, tribaby789,

I personally think that birthday candles are not the way to go. The flame of the candle pierces the veil between the spiritual world and our world. You need time to pray and to allow spirits to hear you and to favor you. I can't imagine praying that fast.

Your spell ideas are fast. Too fast. That makes them weak.

You need to concentrate and visualize and have some sort of communication/rapport with whom you are praying.

Dipping your candles in oils is not a good practice either. Again, too hasty. You are charging the candles when you anoint them. You anoint in a certain manner. And I like to inscribe my candles. I like petition papers under my candle.

The more time that you put into your spells, the better chance of a good outcome

I would do one for family members. One for friends. One for business associates.

So, three would do well. But I would put names in them

Now, you can do it the way you suggested. But, it may be weaker.

just a few more questions

1.How long should I pray over each jar? The birthday candles burn for about 20 minutes each. I have pics that I concentrate on and in pray a psalm with each jar.

2. I have the petitions in the honey jars and for the separate glass candles I did inscribe the petition and have it under the candle.

3. When I said dip, I used the wrong word. I put the oil on my finger and go up and down the candle while stating my petition. Is this correct?

4. Can I do one jar after the other and have all 3 going or should I let the one burn out and then move to the other. The glass candles I light and leave all day until I leave.

Any suggestions for candles to use on the honey jar besides the taper candles sold here? I ordered candles from LM 2 weeks ago and just called to see where my order was. Apparently it hasn't been shipped yet. I'm sort of annoyed about this because I ordered 2 weeks ago thinking they would be here in plenty of time before my last candle. However, not the case. I have one candle left for today then I have none for my lighting on Friday. What type of candle can I use in a pinch until I get my shipment? I thought birthday candles but I just read a post where someone said they weren't good to use. Any suggestions? Doesn't sound like my order will arrive until sometime next week so I will probably need at least 2 candles to burn.

Either way works. But I personally prefer to let it burn completely.

I was wondering it someone could tell me if I did this correct. It was my first time making a honey jar.

On a clean small jar, I first added a couple of spoons of sugar (I read somewhere here that sugar is good) & then added the honey jar half way (some say to fill the jar and some say don't)..
Then I did my petition and since my target is bald, the only personal stuff I had was a handwritten note from him, so I added it on top of the petition paper along with LM love herbs & told the love herbs what I wanted & then folded it up.
Took 3 spoonfuls of honey and said each time, as this honey is sweet to me, so will ___ be sweet to me. Then placed the petition paper inside and closed the jar.
I only had pink birthday candles in hand so I used it, rubbed some Love Me oil from LM and lighted it up and prayed on it until burned out..

I'm hoping I did it right. I see a lot of people and videos do it different so I wasn't sure if mine was right

Is it ok to remove the lid of the honey jar after you've begun the spell? I'm waiting on some LM oils to arrive, but I want to start my honey jar now. I was going to add the herbs and photos now, and add the oils when they arrive.

Also, if I use tea lights on top of my honey jar, should I remove them from their plastic holder so that the wax can drip over the sides of the jar?

Yes, you did the jar correctly. Except: don't add oils inside.

Also, you can open it to add personal concerns (or to give him a bit of the honey to ingest) just don't made a habit to open it all the time.

I would remove the candles and let them burn directly on the lid (if it's metal

Could someone answer this question please? I have my honey jar set up. I was wondering when I light the candle and say my prayers, should I continually say my prayer while the candle is burning. Or can I say my prayer and let the candle burn while I go and do other things??

I always say my prayer, focus a while and then do other things during that time. I think most people do other things while the candle is burning. You can't sit and pray over a candle that burns for hours right? Hehe

I recently constructed a honey jar for love and have been burning birthday candles on top on my honey jar during MWF evenings. Just read your post above about NOT burning birthday candles! I feel so silly...
I'm planning on ordering pink and red 4inch alter candles from you to use. My question is do you think I've messed up the jar because I've done that? My feeling is I should be patient for the candles to arrive and just focus my intention on those evenings like I was and continue with the same jar. Just wanted to ask an expert though.

I've been anxiously waiting 3 wks already for my LM supplies, (I've called and checked on my order tho, hopefully this wk they come in) anyways, in the meantime I've been working with what I have. I made a new honey jar because me and my ex have been arguing a lot. Anyways, now we are just "friends". We almost just cut all communication but I remembered a friend (years ago) said to me, when u do a love spell, u can't argue, treat him bad, or cut communication because that's like starting over from scratch, is that true? Does that mean if I put my pride aside, will the love spells work faster?

(I asked something similar when I was wrking the vinegar jar, so I'm thinking it's true) just an FYI, my ex is kinda of an airhead he voluntarily gave me some of his semen, isn't that awesome, I'm lucky indeed! It's a long story but he did it! lol

AS far as a spell working: "Faster", well, I don't know about that.

But, here is what I tell my clients (and I have also said this on the forum...somewhere)

If I put a spell on you to give me $20 and you have this incredible urge to bring me $20. So, you finally decide to bring it to me (because my spell worked).

So, you ring my doorbell. I open the door and there you re with a GREAT big smile on your face and a $20 bill in your hand all ready to give to me.

I punch you in the face.

What are you going to think? Most likely this:

"What was I thinking when I decided to give Miss Aida $20. I must have been out of my mind. To Hell with Miss Aida, I'm not giving her anything"

And you walk away with your $20: never to return....

So, your actions in the mundane world must compliment your magic and visa-versa.

Hi everyone

I made a honey jar and vinegar break up jar however circumstances has changed and I would like to stop both spells. I know you can deploy them in running water. I'm planning to go to a river at the weekend but I'm unsure of how to do it properly. Do I just empty the contents or should I throw the bottle in there too? If I empty the contents then what do I do with the bottles? I wouldn't want to re-use the jar that had the vinegar and other break up stuff in there again?

Hello kawaiiprincess,

You can dispose of the contents in a river or bury them in them in the ground somewhere. A little note,what you are talking about doing is thought of more as disposal than deployment. You deploy stuff you want to keep working. I would open up the jars, thank them for the work they have done and then tell them they have accomplished all they need to do and can stop working now. Then pour out the jars in the ground or into the river. If you really do not want to keep the jars you could bury them or put them in the river to though I would recommend washing them and recycling them myself. If you wash them though there is nothing wrong with reusing them for something else later. Just use a little Chinese wash when you wash them out to remove any left over stuff from the previous work!

I think you misread what natstein said -- he said to dispose of the CONTENTS in the river, not the glass jar. We reuse or recycle our jars. The river is a traditional place of removal.

I just had a reading done and was told that there is someone in my ex's life who is encouraging him to move on from our relationship and leave it behind. They alluded to who it may be, but there are a few people I suspect.

I'm doing a sugar jar for his family, and another for a few of his close friends. I was debating a freezer spell, but because I don't know who is saying these things, I don't want to freeze anyone out unnecessarily, or potentially freeze up an ally.

I'm wondering if this will work given that I don't have regular contact with these people anymore. I'm not sure if I even come up in conversation anymore, but I get the feeling I left a bad taste in someone's mouth and want to cover my bases.

All I have are photos and names.

Hi All -

So I have a honey jar going after some wonderfully successful reconciliation work. Yay!

It's a dyi thing - filled a little bitty spice jar with honey, petition, and concerns... but it's leaking and spooging a bit. Doh.

I was at the grocery store and this new line of MN artisan honey was there, in adorable glass jars. Cute cute. Such potential.

So... is it ok to transfer the contents of one honey jar to another thats better, without it affecting the work? Or keave enough alone and live with the spooging?

Hello witchie92,

I moved your post to the thread that talks all about honey jars. Read through this to get an idea of how they work and you will get a better idea of whether or not your jar is working. In general I would suggest getting a quick reading to see if your honey jar is working or not. That said there is no rule that says you can not have a second homey jar on a situation.

Hi all,

I have an interview coming up for a promotion. I put my boss's card under the honey jar, wrote her name and the names of the two other people on the interview panel on separate papers and smeared the papers with honey then folded them towards me. I put all the papers together in the jar and sprinkled sugar and cinnamon in the jar before sealing it. I've been lighting candles with Crown of Success oil and Money Drawing oil on top on the honey jar to sweeten them to me and thinking I'd be a good fit for this leadership role and to sweeten them to wanting to compensate me for it. I don't have any Boss Fix products and don't have time to order them.

Any other suggestions aside from putting my bosses business card in my shoe the day of the interview?

Can you make more than one honey jar on a person? Like one for reconciliation and then one for a Love Me honey jar?
Can you put cinnamon in a honey jar and what exactly does cinnamon do when it comes to love? And what are other good herbs to include in a honey jar for love, reconciliation, and to return an ex?

The only hairs i got of his are beard hairs. He shaved and i collected the hairs from the automatic razor. They are extremely tiny and there isn't a way for me to cross his and my hair in the honey jar due to how small his hairs i collected are. Can i put in like 1/4 teaspoon of his beard hairs? (As i think that's how much there was in the automatic razor.. it collects the hairs as you trim) and just put in a long strand of my hair?
I was going to use an oil i have that has reconciliation, return to me, balm if gilead and bewitching, and put it in there along with some cinnamon depending on what cinnamon does, and then a rose petal from a rose my ex bought for me for a valentines day we had together... along with a little snippet of a pair of his unclean boxer briefs. I am unable to get anymore herbs as i have no money so that's why i asked if i could do a second honey jar again when i have money to add more herbs...

hair/nail clippings/bodily fluids work best, but you don't need them. Clothing is probably the next best thing, particularly if it is unwashed.

His actual signature (or any piece of his handwriting) is better, but I say use what you have. You can always add to your honey jar as you obtain more things of his. Anything that carries his essence will work, but some will be more powerful than others.

Hi witchie92,

Sometimes honey jars take a while to get working from what I hear. I wouldn't suggest starting another but maybe do a reading or get a reading from someone at AIRR to see if the spell will be affective or if there is something else that can be done.

I've been lighting candles with Crown of Success oil and Money Drawing oil on top on the honey jar to sweeten them to me and thinking I'd be a good fit for this leadership role and to sweeten them to wanting to compensate me for it. I don't have any Boss Fix products and don't have time to order them.

Any other suggestions aside from putting my bosses business card in my shoe the day of the interview?

Answered my own question. I had made some corn bread and decided to take my boss a piece with some of the honey from the jar smeared on top. My first time using hoodoo in food lol. Interview is in two days so fingers crossed

I love it when folks used hair from shavers because not only do you have hair, you also have A LOT of skin cells! So, this is EXCELLENT!!!

Your ideas look good. Just that the oils don't go directly inside the honey jar. They go on your petition papers, pictures, etc that you place in the honey jar and also on your candles and petition papers that you place outside the jar.

The only hairs i got of his are beard hairs. He shaved and i collected the hairs from the automatic razor. They are extremely tiny and there isn't a way for me to cross his and my hair in the honey jar due to how small his hairs i collected are. Can i put in like 1/4 teaspoon of his beard hairs? (As i think that's how much there was in the automatic razor.. it collects the hairs as you trim) and just put in a long strand of my hair?
I was going to use an oil i have that has reconciliation, return to me, balm if gilead and bewitching, and put it in there along with some cinnamon depending on what cinnamon does, and then a rose petal from a rose my ex bought for me for a valentines day we had together... along with a little snippet of a pair of his unclean boxer briefs. I am unable to get anymore herbs as i have no money so that's why i asked if i could do a second honey jar again when i have money to add more herbs...

Hi everyone,
I wanted to give you guys an update on my honey jar.
I started it about almost a month ago (my rootworker finally convinced me lol).

Before I started it, I had a reading saying my ex would be back into my life. He started dating after we broke up but the reading said it wasn't serious. I bought from the MISC 2 reconciliation candles which the reports came out good

After that, I would see cars or stuff that reminded me of my ex.

When I started my honey jar, I first burned birthday candles and then the small votive candles. The leftover wax would be in shape of hearts. I started seeing more signs after, targets name or vehicles that looked like his, I even had a waiter with the same name as my targets.
My rootworker said they were excellent signs!

I had a reading last week and my rootworker said my target was seeing aeine but that want going to last. She said I'm still on his mind and he realizes he made a mistake by leaving me.

Seriously that made my day

I don't know why this hadn't dawned on me before, but I don't think I put any of my personal concerns in my sugar jar. There is a photo of my ex and I together, and I folded it so we are face to face, stuck together with honey. My name is also on the petition crossed with his, but that's it. I was unable to get his hair, so I never even thought about adding mine.

The candles I light on top of the jar have been dressed with menstrual blood, but I don't think there is much of me inside the jar. Is what I have alright? And is it ok to open the honey jar every now and then?
