Hi, i am new here and have never participated in any online forum before, as i am maybe a little bit technophobe.

I love voodoo, hoodoo rootwork, although we have no community - that I know of - here in australia.

I am looking forward to learning.

You will learn a lot about Hoodoo; since you mentioned it, start by learning the differences Hoodoo: African American Magic defines the term, "Hoodoo," what it is, what it is not..." This is written by catherine yronwode, the owner of Lucky Mojo.

Thank you very much for pointing that out to me. I already knew that this site was multidominational, i should have not mentioned what devotional practice I follow! I kind of mix them together, and so it's easy for me to think of them that way. But I realize it's inapropriate. sorry!

Hello, mariejo --

I know that Australia is a large place, but the Lucky Mojo shop certainly does have hoodoo customers there, and i read cards for Australian clients as well, as do many of us in AIRR. I even have some Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course students in Australia, believe it or not.

Yes, of course you can, and should, take the course from Australia! It is a correspondence course, so it can be fully completed by mail with online support! I recommend it to all! Where-ever you may reside...
