Greetings from San Diego

Unread post by RowanPendragon » Thu Mar 17, 2011 10:09 pm

Hi everyone!

So after a long time of being a regular visitor of the many Lucky Mojo resources for years and having worked with some of the products in the past I decided it was time to join the forums and go a bit deeper with everything here. I have been a Witch and magickal practitioner for the last 25 years and consider myself to be an eclectic Pagan Witch. I have had an interest in Hoodoo since I was a teen but over the last few years I have started to take my interest farther by reading more, experimenting with things I find, and putting some of the different magickal techniques into practice. I have especially become a really big fan of honey jar spells. This past summer I finally got the chance to go to New Orleans after many, many years of wanting to go there and I have never felt so at home in a place I've never been before. I was there for less than 24 hours and I would have moved there in a heartbeat.

I'm currently living in San Diego, CA and have been here for several years but I am originally from Connecticut. I am going to be moving to Salem, MA in December and am very excited to be going back to the east coast. I like California but it isn't for me and it isn't home. Unlike New Orleans where I felt at home in a few hours I haven't felt anything remotely like that in three years of living here.

I am a writer and a professional tarot reader but I'm currently having a moment of feeling really lost about what I should be doing myself. I'm working on the second draft of my first tarot book which will be out in June.

I'm VERY happy and excited to be here and am planning on starting to develop my order history with the site (I usually find items in different shops) because I would like to be able to take the correspondence class later this year. :)

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning as much as I can!
Rowan

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm looking forward to moving back east. So Cal is nice but it's very much not for me. I have this thing with being really attached to certain places. And seasons!! Oh my god what I wouldn't do to see leaves on the ground in the fall and snow in the winter...lol.

Welcome to the forum.

That is so awesome you got to visit New Orleans. I have been thinking about visiting there also :)

I am originally from the East Coast too...from New York but I love the West Coast, particularly San Diego. I think of it more as home than NY now. Different strokes for different folks lol. Good luck with your book :)
