Hello There

Unread post by teopiltzin » Mon Apr 04, 2011 7:33 pm

Hello. I'm new to Conjure, but I would like to learn. My name is Teopiltzin and i'm an aztec spiritual practitioner and shaman. Well, actually i'm a shaman-curandero and a nahualli. I work with the aztec gods but are not limited to them. I also work with Catholic saints, Maya Saints, and the Orishas of Santeria. I work primarily through the shamanic journey aka astral projection to do spiritual work.

Recently though i've been looking into using material bases rather than pure energy work so I found myself in a conundrum. I've been drawn more recently to Latin American supply shops and have experimented with what they have to offer. As of now, my supplies are as follows. {DELETED long list of non-Lucky Mojo products from unknown factory-type supplies --cat], rope for magick circles, a bell to start rituals, a nganga or consecrated spirit pot through which i do most of my spiritual work besides shamanic journeying, I borrowed this idea from two sources: ancient aztec codices particularly the codex borbonicus and the religion of Palo Mayombe. I also have offerings of toasted maize tortillas liquor tobacco and buddhist incense on my altar.

Do I have what I need to get started with conjure, or do I need more supplies?

Where do I begin if i'm a beginner?

Also, my family member is in jail and i've tried to get him help with his court case. How do I find him a just judge? [DELETED description of some sort of Santeria spell --cat]

Anyway, so much for introductions. My practice is a little bit unconventional but hopefully I could fit in somewhere in here and learn and teach a lot.

Yours in the struggle,
--Teopiltzin

Welcome to the forum, Teopiltzin.

To answer you honestly, not a dang thing you named is used in conjure. You are probably in the wrong forum. This is the Lucky Mojo product forum, for folks who are our customers, and who are interested in USA African American root doctoring. We are not here to teach anyone how to use a product purchased from our competitors, 'cause, frankly, they are the ones you gave your money to, so they should be the ones to answer your questions. There are only so many hours in a day, and we spend ours helping our costomers, not the costumers of other shops.

We offer thousands of free pages of solid information on conjure. Check them out at your leisure.

If you want to start to investigate goodoo, then pleaseread this introduction to African American Protestant Christian conjure, with its Native American, European, and other adjuncts --

The History of Hoodoo; what it is -- and what it is not:
http://luckymojo.com/hoodoohistory.html

-- and then, if you are still interested, pull up a chair and read every single page that is linked from this page:

Hoodoo in Theory and Practice
http://luckymojo.com/hoodoo.html

--and after that, read every single page that is linked form this page:

Southern Spirits
http://southern-spirts.com

In the meantime, if you want help with a court case, post the details in the "Ask for Help with Your Situation" section of this forujm -- but expect us to only answer you in terms of links to pages at the Lucky Mojo site and to products that we manufacture. We have lots of court case spells and supplies to share, and can give you plenty of ideas.

Good luck!
