Fiery Wall of Protection Mojo Bag Questions and Answers

Unread post by justv » Thu Feb 05, 2009 1:43 pm

I have a 10yr old son. Up until the 3 grade he was very happy and outgoing...confident. In 3rd grade he had a teacher who was dying of cancer but still continued to teach. Unfortunately he took out a lot of his anger and frustration due to his pain out on the kids. He has since passed away. That time seemed to have sucked those good qualities I use to see in my son right out of him. I want to know if there is a mojo bag or something I can put together for him that will restore his confidence and happiness and protect him from being hurt again. Thank you for any advice.

Hello V--
Consider 2 parts to the work: First, a series of 3 spiritual baths, over the course of at least 3 days to 1) cleanse (Uncrossing or Road Opening-type formula), 2) bless (Blessing and/or Crucible of Courage-type formula) and 3) protect (Protection or similar formula--Fiery Wall of Protection would probably be overkill in this case). Second, a mojo hand for your son containing age-appropriate herbs and curios for blessing and personal power/protection: caraway seeds, flax seed, angelica root, master of the woods herb, basil, cat's eye shell, rose hip, balm of gilead, borage flowers are all suitable.
Peace be with you,
Lukianos

Hi V,

On top of the baths and mojo bag, you can also set vigil lights for him and have them burning on a regular basis. Crown of Success is a really nice one for success in school type activities: http://www.luckymojo.com/crownofsuccess.html
You can also make your own vigil light with a custom blend of appropriate oils and herbs for your son's success, happiness, and protection. You can burn these lights while he is at school out of your sight for an extra added "oomph!"

Good luck,
Bri

To that list of herbs, I want to add peach tree leaves and thyme. I have the thyme in a small muslin bag for my youngest when she gets nightmares. The bag with the thyme helps a lot with nightmares.

My oldest also has a set of worry dolls that she carries with her, you can buy worry dolls from Lucky Mojo. They are wonderful for children to tell their worries to before bed. She was having a lot of trouble at school and said they helped her.

I use the King Solomon Wisdom Oil, blended with Clarity Oil with a touch of peach tree leaves to help my oldest in school.

Thank you for the help :) . I was also wondering if it was ok to sew the mojo bag closed? Hes very curious and I thought it might be a way to keep him from pulling anything out and possibly making the mojo bag less powerful. Thanks again!

Make a small draw string bag out of white cotton. Create a sigil for protection, and draw it on the outside of the bag or on a piece of paper (torn on all sides) which you put inside the bag. Then put three bay leaves, some High John the Conqueror root, eucalyptus, sage, marjoram, mint, and cinnamon. Spit in the bag, tie it up and then feed it some whiskey. Carry it on you always, feed it whiskey every week, and don't let other people touch it.

The term "create a sigil for protection" marks this as chaos magic. In hoodoo practice, we'd be more likely to sew on a protection amulet or to draw one of the hundreds of already-created protection sigils we are accustomed to using in our tradition.

I realize this. I don't see anything wrong with adding a personalized sigil. The hoodooists of old were not worried about "violating" the tradition of hoodoo when they picked by the 6th and 7th Books of Moses. And it worked.

Just because one sigil was added does not make it chaos magic.

I think you miss my point. Bringing in undefined elements from another path or tradition, such as chaos magic, is not going to work on this forum because we will not be hosting the inevitable questions about "how do you create a sigil?" any more than we would be hosting questions on "What is Ochosi's number?"

Please stay on topic.

Yes, sewing a mojo bag closed is quite traditional, and is a method preferred by some folks. Wrapping and tying the neck of the bag are more common these days than sewing, but sewing has been used to finish off mojo hands for as long as folks have been making them.

Im going to purchase the baths for my son. I wonder if its ok to give him the baths on three seperate Saturdays? He goes to school so it will be hard for me to get him up before dawn and perform the bath. I don't have enough time to take him with me to dispose of the bath water at a crossroads and then make it to school on time. Also, is it ok to mix two baths together like Road Opening and Uncrossing for the first bath and Crucible of Courage and Blessing for the second bath? Is it better to do them seperately or if I'm going to mix them mix in 3s? Thank You!

Three successive Saturdays is an acceptable timeline for a series of baths. You can also certainly mix baths, but I feel 2 x 2 is a little awkward. I would suggest mixing Road Opener, Crucible of Courage, and Blessing together and then dividing by three to get each Saturday's portion.

Im not an expert, but I dont think its appropriate to bury an actual mojo bag unless you are trying to dispose of it. Instead, what you are looking for is a bottle spell. The bottle can be made of blue glass and contain nails, pins, needles, razors, etc. some of your hair and/or urine, protection herbs, minerals and curios. Also, look into fiery wall of protection products.

Thier are times when you would secret a mojo around a houce and burying it is an option but I would definetly go with a bottle spell for this.

Thanks in advance.

Anoint it when you feel it should be put in use, usually for my protection bag I anoint it once a week or once a month. I also have a jack-ball that I soak in whisky every other week. It depends on the circumstances, I can't say for sure the usage of cats mojo bag products, as i have not used them yet.

Feed it regularly.
rickets wrote:could i add anything to it?
You could but it really isnt need at all.
Dimples03 wrote:how often should i anoint it with fiery wall of protection oil?
Once a week on the day you made it.
Dimples03 wrote:do i just dress the outside of the bag or do i sprinkle some oil on the inside?
This has come up many times. Next time you have a question use the search bar first. Dab the oil on the out side of the bag, mojos are usualy never opened after they are fixed, its right up thier with letting it being seen or touched.

Dear Catherine Yronwode, I have a question that bothers me. I have discovered based on my own experience that a Mojo Bag not always covers all the areas of life to protect, it is only good if direct attack is performed. For instance if a person aggresively makes you lose a job and/or makes you leave the country Mojo Bag kind of makes it milder but still a person achieves its negative intents. What are the strongest counteracting/protective spells of its kind that can be done quickly in addition to the Mojo Bag if suspicion of this attack arises and if this kind of spell has been casted already and has taken its effect and keeps you away from returning to the country?

Thank you very much for your wise advice.

Hi there, The Apprentice
I am not cat, but I do believe that I can begin to answer your questions. First off, I think your understanding of what a mojo bag is and what it does is a bit incomplete. There are many, many different kinds of mojo bags and only a handful of them are for protection period. Other popular hands (another word for a mojo bag) include: luck and money drawing, healing, success in all of your endeavors, and love drawing. Check out this link for more info:
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojo.html

So if you have a love-drawing mojo hand that is not going to do anything for you in terms of protection. Now there are some especially powerful hands like the Jack ball that are more comprehensive (and also more time consuming to make, but really worth it.)
http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatmojo.html#jack

There are also many, many things that you can do for protection that are not mojo bags.
The first thing to do is to keep yourself and your home space spiritually clean. If someone is working against you and you know it, I recommend Fiery Wall of Protection products:
http://www.luckymojo.com/fierywall.html
I also recommend you look over this excellent page on general protection:
http://www.luckymojo.com/protectionspells.html

Good luck,

The only thing I add to my mojo is fresh herbs when I feel they need to be replaced and whatever else the instructions called for.

I was thinking of getting fiery wall of protection mojo bag because I know it protects against evil spells and any other type of negative targeting but does anyone know if also protects against someone laying down tricks. I know there is fear not to walk over evil, but does fiery wall also protect agaisnt layed down tricks? Or do I need fear not to walk over evil for that specific purpose?

thanks skywayrd I appreciate your response, but would you know if indian head pennies put into my shoes annointed with fntwoe would have the same effect? Only because I heard that silver dimes were used as warning signs to let you know that you have been crossed, they turn black if you have been in contact with a mess or a trick layed down. any info would help on the pennies and the dimes. Also, where can i get the dime anklet i have not seen it at LM site.

Lucky Mojo's in-house rootworkers and conjurers will make mojo bags for clients in need of protection. The most popular of these is the Fiery Wall of Protection Mojo. You can buy them for friends and family as well. It is best that they wear the mojo bag for a few days at least -- for protection wearing it on the body frequently or on set days will definately help the work.

I received my FWP mojo bag today. I was wondering what are the strongest objects to use. I was thinking of hair and a pic. I am making a FWP mojo for my kids and husband. Is it ok to add hair and a pic of my kids and my husband and I? Also, how much hair do I need to use? My husband shaves his head so I plucked a few that were"ingrown" from his head and kept them. Just wondering how much do I need. And...is it ok to use his cum and hair? Is this good? Thank you!

Ok, I did my protection mojo, and my little girl got ahold of it and undid the knot I had to secure the bags opening, she didn't take anything out or touch anything inside. Is this ok to just retie the bag and reannoint it? I put a lot of work and time into the bag and just want to tie it up and work it more if possible. Thank you

You need to do a divination to find out if its still alive and workable. Sadly, in my experience, mojos are killed even by well-meaning and accidental touchings by loved ones. But some have been able to bring them back. You'll need to divine to find out if yours is savable or not.

Good day to all of you.
I have a situation involving a spirit.
I dón´t know if it is a good or bad spirit. Likewise, I don´t know if it is a human or a demonic spirit.
Which mojo would you suggest to protect myself?

My daughter who's 4 has been having bad dreams every night. Which product is best for them to stop. I don't know if it has anything to do with my situation or not. I'm currently in a situation where a woman is doing magic to my husband to keep him away from the kids and I. Her nightmares are almost everynight. Any suggestions?

Bathe her with Guardian Angel or Archangel Michael bath crystals before bed. Pray Psalm 91 over her; verse 5 says "Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night" in the King James version. Keep the Bible open to Psalm 91, and either place it next to the bed or under it, along with a glass of water. Don't let her drink the water; pour it out in the morning.

Well since I don't know what you are trying to defend against with your mojo, I can't really make proclamation as to why you hurt your hand. Though, it's likely just a coincidence that you injured your hand, and has nothing to do with the mojo itself.

I don't know what green color is on your mojo. You don't describe what is causing the green - is it matter clinging to the bag, is it a liquid, is it perhaps pocket lint? So there's no way to answer that question.

If you are worried about these issues, you can always get a reading to look into things. http://www.readersandrootworkers.org.

What is a good petition to put in a protection mojo hand?

And one piece of my hair enough with the petition?

I like Psalm 91 for Protection, movingmountains. You can paraphrase it in your petition. Alternatively, you can write your name 9 times, turn it 90 degrees and write the word Protection 9 times (over your name), add your hair (and yes one is enough) and fold paper toward you, turn again fold toward you until it is small enough to put in your mojo bag. Some people encircle the petition with an appropriate statement or add sigils at each corner of the petition paper.

I personally like to work with a personal concern such as a hair or a finger nail, however, most of the time I work my picture as a name paper such as writing protection over me or I write a petition on the back of a picture.

I am making a mojo bag for my child for protection and to calm him down because he is super active... I have a white mojo bag with angelica root with his hair wrapped around the angelica root, caraway to protect him from illness(because he is often sick) catnip and flax to calm him down. Is this to much for one bag and do I say a prayer or something after I make the bag?

Hey Wonderwhy.

Having raised 3 boys, active is a good thing and a blessing even though at times it may seem exhausting. As far as the mojo bag there are a couple of things I would do differently.
Instead of Angelica root I would use Master Root for a couple of reasons. Traditionally Angelica root is used for female causes and Master root for masculine. Master root also gives you the double whammy for protection and health. The flax seed is a good choice but I would leave out the catnip. In Hoodoo, Catnip is generally used to make women more appealing to men.
I am a big believer in traditional items so for extra protection I would add a silver dime to his bag.

As far as prayer; when you are preparing his mojo bag visualize your desired outcome along with prayer and recitation of the 23rd psalm. You might even want to write out the 23 Psalm and include it in his mojo bag. I always burn incense when I work and for this hand Van Van is the traditional product when preparing a Mojo hand but another option may be Peony root since it offers both protection and health attributes. When you are finished don't forget to dress your hand with the corresponding oil.

I actually agree with the Angelica root in this situation. Angelica is also commonly used to protect children as well as women, and it is extremely protective. I don't feel that Master roots very in-you-face energy is appropriate for many children.

I do agree that I would not use catnip in this bag, as you're correct in that it's used for sexual attractiveness. I would substitute lavender as it has a very calming vibration, has protective qualities, and help one behave harmoniously with others.

I would add a powder to this bag as well - you want to make this bag nice a cool, and sachet powder is very cooling in nature (unless you've mixed one up specifically to be otherwise). Tranquility would be nice here.

You could use Tranquility and Blessing oil with this bag to help keep it fed with calm energy.

Nice choice with the Lavender, I frequently use this for myself and it is indeed extremely calming.

As far as the master root, I sensed the mothers frustration with her "super active" child and felt something a little more direct might be helpful; but you are indeed right that Angelica is used for children as well as women.

For travel, I like keeping a Saint Christopher (http://www.luckymojo.com/saintchristopher.html) card in my car, and dressing the car with Safe Travel oil, Law Keep Away and Fiery Wall; it is discussed in this post. conjuring-on-a-new-car--t9278.html#p52400

...and yes you could use Fiery Wall of Protection alone.

LM carries a Safe Travel Mojo (http://www.luckymojo.com/mojo-1x-safe-travel.html)

Also, LM carries amulets designed for the protection of travelers (http://www.luckymojo.com/saintwallet.html) They may not have this specific one, but call the shop and inquire.

Hi jwmcclin, thanks so much for the great advice.
But i was wondering if i get the FWOP Mojo, is it ok to hang it up in my car?
Or i should i keep it hidden in some compartment so no one sees or touch it?
For the spraying part (with the FWOP oil mixed in it), is it ok to spray it on the floor and inner roof
instead of on my seats as its all leather so im afraid there will be staining of oils on it =P
Which prayers should i recite while doing this?
Thanks again ;)

jwmcclin, how often do you dress the car with the three oils (FWOP, Safe Travel and Law Keep Away) and do you dress the inside or the outside. Thanks.

Put the mojo bag in the glove box or somewhere else out of sight and dress it at least weekly.

I agree with Mama Micki...do not put the bag in sight of others as it can kill the mojo bag. I would keep it in my glove compartment, trunk, or any other concealed place in the car.

As for how do you dress the car, you can do this several ways.
1). you can get a combo of all the incense such as fiery wall, safe travel, and law keep away...light the incense and smoke the insight of your car. State that you may you always have a safe travel, and to keep the law enforcement away for traffic violations ( I wouldnt say keep them away period as you may need them for an emergency or something)

2). You can get the 3 products and put a bit of bath crystals in the bucket when you wash your car. Again stating the same petition. OR you can put it in a squirt bottle and spray the inside and outside of your car lightly.

3) I simply keep a piece of jewelry and/or an image of Archangel Michael in my car to keep me from getting hurt.

4) You can put a dab of each oil under your car mats.

Get creative..and I am sure some people will share more methods.

Sachet powder would be another option, less conspicuous than oil.

Sachet powder is great. I agree! Make sure you use it very lightly...less is more in this case as you dont want a bunch of powder everywhere.

The mojo bags come prepared with the appropriate roots and herbs for the situation they are addressing and an appropriate vial of oil for dressing the mojo bag. Thus the Fiery Wall of Protection mojo would come with Fiery Wall of Protection oil and the Uncrossing mojo would come with Uncrossing oil.

As far as I know they do not come with candles as the mojo hand is meant to be carried with you. I would also assume the color of the mojo hand would be suited to its purpose.

They will come with full instructions when you order them.

Mojos are often refreshed once a year. If you've been feeding it regularly, though, and it seems weak - it may have taken a big hit for you and died in the process. You'll need to do a divination to determine if it's still alive and can be revived, or whether it has died in its work and you'll need to make a new one.
