I wanted to leave a formal introduction here to say hello to all the friendly people I have been 'reading' for over a year.
My name is Cate (like Kate but my fathers family has named everyone with a "c" for what seems like forever) I have been living in NYC for almost 6 years now.
I have been heavily immursing myself in reading about all forms of 'practice' over the last 3 years as I have been finding a way to explain unknown 'feelings' within myself. Being raised in a very Catholic family I felt that Hoodoo was a natural fit for me, and seemed to just fit, even if I still have self struggles with things. (PM me if you are interested in this/these but I will say what I struggle with most would be best discribed as seeing 'auras')
I have enjoyed practicing hoodoo and lean mostly towards candle work as candles seem to speak to me most.
I'm so happy to now be able to comment on threads and ask for advise, and am always up for new friends.
