Hello. I have come here in search of advice as all the career coaches and life skill coaches have failed, and honestly my last hope is a helping metaphysical hand of faith.

I am fortunate that I have a well paying job at an economically delicate time at a big, well regarded company I have admired since I was young. I do not wish to be ungrateful about my destiny. However, I am exhausted of how hard it is to grow. It seems that circumstances don't go my way.

When I interviewed for this job, it was like a dream job. But restructuring happened and the role got 'adjusted' to something less. It was not because of my performance but it nonetheless put me on the backfoot.

Since then, I have had many successes, but
1. People do not value them despite it being what the company says it wants. I have accomplished things no one has done in this company for decades, but either others get the credit for my achievement or less impressive but easier to understand/flashier achievements get all the attention.
2. I get great performance reviews but they are always changing the goal posts - if I was innovative, I am not single minded, if I become single minded, then I am not flexible. Etc. Thus, I am always told I am falling short.
3. The company always restructures and moves me in lateral positions. So it has not just been people, it has also been circumstances that have not favored me.
4. People who knew my talents best and were big supporters left the company. I would have been happy to prove myself but the new people did not give me a chance to because my role was readjusted because of the restructuring. In their eyes, I was too junior given my new title to be worth their while.

I am the sole wage earner. I cannot afford to walk out of a stable job and I sometimes think they know this. That is why they take me for granted.

I have a boss, who is lovely and supportive but essentially powerless and not a set group of people responsible for promotions so I am not sure how I would use boss fix.

Is there something that can help people value my skills fairly? Equalize the playing field? Give me a fighting chance? I would really like a job title and raise that fits my experience and education but the past 4 years have been 40% running in place with 60% backward motion. There are people who have not achieved 1/10th of what I did that got promoted solely because of the way the restructuring happened.
