I'm hailing from old New England, though that looks to be something of an oddity here. I'm out in the woods (well, they're woods and conservation land now) where my family's old farm used to be. I grew up Catholic and with a bit of spotty hoodoo. My grandmother's mother ran the only boarding house in town and she'd take anyone even if they had to work the farm to pay it off and apparently everyone passing through had something to teach the kids.

A lot of what I know isn't as fancy as all I see on the website, although I recognize a lot of it (oh, especially the novena candles!). Even now, my mother will set out the right candles if she or the family needs something.

Anyway, I know a bit and I'm learning more. Hello!
