Sagittarius Vigil Candle Questions and Answers

Post by Sephora » Sun Aug 21, 2011 12:20 pm

I have requested a Crown of success candle to be burn on behalf of my son who is 4 so am I right by saying that adding Sagittarius candle for him will help/back my petition for him. Should I put the same petition and prayer when having this candle burn on MISC altar or would his name and date of birth will be enough?

Also Catherine, I have been trying to order a "Lady of Loretto" candle to be burn on Misc altar but it is charging me the fee for shipment. What should I do?

Thank you very much for your answers and help.

Blessings

I purchased two encased zodiacal candles. I’m going to use them to represent me, and my target. My question is when it comes to writing out petitions for them m. Do I put the petition underneath the candle, or tape it to the side? Also do I leave these candles burning for seven days straight or blow them out?

WhiteWitch,

I put the petition underneath the candle. I believe this concentrates the energy of the candle onto the prayer. Almost like shining a flashlight on it for Spirit. "This is what I desire." Most leave the vigil to burn straight through. If you light and relight it, it may not burn correctly. If you are concerned about the safety of having it burn when you are not home, you can move it to the kitchen sink or bath tub (with no water or the candle will crack) I also suggest taking a cookie sheet and filling it with a layer of sand, placing the candle in the middle.

Hello WhiteWitch81,

In addition to terra_rising's excellent advice, if you do need to extinguish your flame before the candle is completely finished, make sure you snuff or pinch it out. Don't blow it out, as that is a sign to Spirit that you are ending the spell, not merely pausing it.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
