Hi HappyLove,

Since it is a Lucky Mojo candle, we know that the its quality is not at fault for your low flame.

Continue to burn it and if you don't see a tall, steady flame by the end of it then I would burn another. Low flame means delays, obstacles or resistance and you want to break through any of that to help you reach your goal.

If your next candle burns the same way, I would get a reading to gain some clarity on what is happening with your target. You can find good readers here:
www.readersandrootworkers.org/
www.hoodoopsychics.com

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Hello,

I’m planning on getting Hot Foot vigils lit by my Rootworker to drive away one of my partners horribkd female friends who treated me like dirt last year over such a petty thing. After attempting to make amends this year with her, she carried on being childish and incredibly spiteful, resulting in my mental health deteriorating.

She is attending our wedding much to my dismay, and I want her gone out of our life and away from the wedding.

The good news is, tonight she has apparently overreacted and gone mad at everyone in our friends group for not inviting her out to an event (even though she wasn’t interested) and has gone mad with my fiancé. So, first question is, is it worth starting the vigils ASAP to carry on this feud she is causing herself to have with others and drive her away from my fiancé?

I have noticed as well in this thread that people doing rootwork have been cleansing themselves after they do it. I am having the work done for me and my Rootworker assures me I won’t feel any ill effects of the work. As a rule of thumb, is it still worth cleansing as they do the work though?

Finally, is there anything I can do to help the vigils along? So for example, if I was lighting candles to pass a test, I would be busy revising for it. Should I maybe cause any inflammation e.g tell her she’s being a child and to grow up, so as to draw her further away from my fiancé, or should I just sit back and let the vigils work? Thank you!

Nony65,

1. Absolutely start it now, strike while the iron is hot!
2. Yes you still cleanse because you are the one asking for the work and therefore should be cleansed of the sin of cursing.
3. I would use products that spells that work to keep them fighting, you can have a break up candle set on the fiance and her to break their friendship, you can do a break up spell using two candles and separating them. I would also mix hotfoot and break up powder, sprinkle where this women will walk, items she will touch to get it on her and in her home.
Since you are working with a rootworker, I would talk with that person to determine what spells they suggest you do and any other work to do in conjunction to the candles.

sunchild,

Hotfoot should be safe to work on a candle while pregnant, just wear gloves so you do not come into physical contact with it ( just in case by chance you had an allergic reaction). You can also have MISC set a hotfoot candle for you. Also may be interested in a freezer spell.

Hello sunchild,

If you are concerned about any spiritual implications of performing spellwork while pregnant, you should rest easy. There is no fallout to speak of, so continue your work with confidence.

The moving candle spell is a good idea for your situation. Hot Footing her out of the picture is a great support for this kind of work.

I wish you the best of luck, for both your spell outcome and your pregnancy.

Hi everybody. I was burning a hot foot vigil candle to get rid of the girl my ex is now seeing. The wick at one point was no longer burning in the middle and had started to leave black soot on the glass (the wick was burning up against the glass). I didn’t have time to doctor it and keep working the candle until tonight. When I went to go get the candle, it’s completely burned. The last time I worked it and snuff it out there was about half the candle left. Now there’s nothing. Would do you ladies/guys think? Is this a good or bad sign? I’m scheduling a reading for Monday when I get paid but I don’t want to be stressing over this all weekend so I’m trying to get some insight if this is a good or bad sign.

Hello newwitch2018,

It's impossible for us to tell you what the results of your candle mean, as this would be best served by a reading. I'm glad you have one coming up in a couple of days. Don't stress over your work. You may be facing some obstacles or delays indicated by the black soot, but your reader can tell you more, and can advise on rootwork to help.

Meanwhile, do read this page on candle magic divination for some general advice on candle signs:

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi everyone,

Must the work be justified for hot footing someone? I’m not sure if I have a case; there’s a lady in my husbands work who is a silly, immature little girl. Very young and stupid. She constantly contacts my husband, slags me off, what’s worse is my husband fancies her (but he would never cheat). This girl is seeing a guy at his work who already has a girlfriend which is appalling in my eyes. I would gladly have told the girlfriend of this guy but my husband has said he’d never tell me anything again, as she swore him to secrecy. Another partner of my husbands colleague was annoyed at her for flirting with him, again she goes to my husband about this!!

I want her completely gone out of my husbands life (even off his phone). If I did Hot Foot or asked my root worker, should I do weekly cleansing as the work is being done? And what other vigils would work nicely alongside Hot Foot to seriously mess her up?

Thank you all

Nony65,

This is a tricky question and it will depend on your own ethics. I don't want to speak for people so I'll make some generalizations and I apologize in advance for any offence caused by those put in a category. In hoodoo, we don't believe in karma or the 3 fold path. We welcome those that come from religions that do, but we do not place those rules on others. For those who practice without such rules, you still don't see them cursing and crossing everyone who slights them. So there is a line there but it is drawn by yourself not from a line set down by hoodoo. Hoodoo is not a religion so it doesn't really address the consequences of darker works.

For more about ethics and being justified before God, please check out this thread: ethics-moral-justification-before-god-b ... 13051.html

1. Yes, you would want to cleanse after such work but the frequency is personal preference. I usually plan to clean as soon as I can after the spell is complete.
2. Hot Foot vigil paired with placing Hot Food oil or powders at her work or home where she would actually step in it would be solid work. For more about using Hot Foot as a candle spell, please read the Hot Foot web page. https://www.luckymojo.com/hotfoot.html

Thank you Terra! So let’s say if I asked my root worker to do me a run of vigils to hot Foot this girl, is it advisable I cleanse after they have completed the work e.g say I had four vigils lit, then I cleanse after the fourth one has been lit?

Nony,

If it was a 4 candle run, I would do a cleanse each Sunday with the last one being after the entire run is complete. I would also set up protection for your home in case the target sends anything back your way.

Thank you again Terra :) I’ve spoken to the root worker he they have advised me that myself and my husband are protected from the effects. I shall still do weekly cleanses though. Oh I can’t wait until this takes affect and I can say “adios loser!” to her, she is having a bearing on my mental health. So a good scattering of Hot Foot powder where she walks too yes? What about on her car door handles? :)

Nony65,

Yes, I highly recommend getting her to step in the powder or touch it in someway. Hot Foot really has a basis in physical touch especially when in contact with feet or shoes. It doesn't have to be a large amount either. I'd mix the powder in with some local dirt(to help it blend in) and sprinkle it where she will walk into a building, get out of her car, or sit at her desk. The fun is the creativity behind it. While you sprinkle the powder/dirt mix, whisper her name and your petition. "XXX you little slut, get the F*#@ out of town and never come back"

Since you have the vigils going strong for you, it's up to you. You could ask your rootworker if he thinks it will assist the work or not.

You would also get some good ideas on Hot Foot tricks on this thread: hot-foot-powder-questions-and-answers-t5399.html

Good luck to you and I hope to hear of great results!

General question about the Hot Foot vigil candle. I received a fixed candle today and in my hurry to get it going, I have just realized that I am not burning it on "the dark of the moon" as the directions on the label indicate. Should I snuff out the candle and begin again at the correct time or is is OK for me to continue the burn?

Hi Lolo1969,

If you just started, I might snuff it and begin again at the advised time. If you've already burned it for one night already, though, then going forward, I'd just make sure I'm burning it when the hands of the clock are falling, to represent sending the person away from you (same timing symbolism as the waning moon).

I hope this helps!

Would a hotfoot vigil be the "best" choice to keep a love rival away from someone i have my eye on; even if the love rival already lives in another city?

i am interested in someone, and i know there is another woman in the picture; but the other woman lives in another city.

So i guess what i am asking is, would hotfoot have an effect to "keep her out of his life" if she already lives far away? i thought hotfoot was meant to make someone move away..

Can hotfoot vigils be utilized in that way (Keep x out of Y life) instead of geographically (keep x out of *my city*)?

is there another vigil or spell recommended?

i've heard about freezer spells as well..

thanks

Hello SpellsnSuch,

Hot Foot physically drives a person away. Since your target is already away (in another city), I would work a freezer spell to keep her from getting any closer to your love interest, physically or emotionally.

You can read about them here:

Hi again everyone,

I’m quite confused at the moment- I’ve read all the Hot Foot threads from top to bottom, and understand what it is meant to do. I had a roorworker do a run of Hot Foot vigils to drive away a woman at my husbands work who was causing issues with us. She was flirty and inappropriate, and made me uncomfortable. My husband took too much of an interest in her as well. In my petition for the vigils, I asked that she leave the job and leave my husband well and truly alone.

There were no issues with my vigils as far as I’m aware. But some really strange things have happened; a couple of weeks into the vigils being lit, I got invited to my husbands work night out with him, she was there. She was ok with me, but childish with my husband and quite flirty. Afterwards, she added me on Facebook which I did accept (I have no idea why as I didn’t particularly like her).

Now that the work is complete, my husband is focused more on us and wanting a baby. She is not brought up thankfully and to my knowledge, they barely speak. She has hooked up with another guy in that work place. Today I went to pick my husband up and was asking how his day went etc, who he’d been working with. He said and I asked if said girl was still there. Husband replied she was but is currently off work unwell having had an operation to remove her appendix. I believe as well she’s not active much in their group chat so I’m told.

I thought Hot Foot would cause someone to get restless and drive them away from the target e.g by leaving their job, town etc? Or is it likely that she’s become unwell and been driven away from the job as a result? I’m just curious as when I have done Hot Foot work in the past, it’s caused the person to fully vanish out of the targets life! Either way, I would take this as a good sign yes? :)

Nony65 --

Hot Footing folks is generally done by literal foot track work. In my experience, when worked in the form of vigil candles it is less direct, unless the candles are moved or "walked" along as they burn.

This woman may be somewhat protected. She may, for example, have a mother in town who is working (through spells, prayers, or strong family bonding) to keep her in town.

You are havng a success, but a somewhat modified or muted success -- still you are getting what you want.

Ok, so above Miss Athena said that since the target is already away, that the freezer spell should be used. However in my case, I did the freezer spell already. I found out just now that they are separated by a literal ocean and more than likely will continue to be for at least 2 weeks. So if Hot Foot isn't the correct thing to do, what is? I want to take advantage of this separation. Thank you!

MrsSchaeffer2020,

personally, i have been thinking of working separating products in addition to freezer spells. a rootworker told me since freezer spells can make targets cold and unable to act/feel, then separation products would work well in conjunction. if petitioned appropriately, it *can* cause a divide/cause targets to drift further apart without triggering a full blown fight / triggering heat filled emotions that can come from break up or hot foot products. i noticed sometimes with hot foot or break up products the target's emotions can be so strong people tend to REALLY fight the work..fight make up, fight make up  .... so separation and freezing is just an alternative for you to try when other methods don't work.. i hope that makes sense and i hope i didn't over step. :)

Not at all, spellsnsuch. I appreciate your input as I do everyone's.

I am just kind of at a loss since my immediate go to is the freezer spell. I haven't done the Hot Foot work yet (which I seem to have a talent for). My targets appear to be on the outs but with no big bang so to speak, so I just wanted to use that to springboard into a permanent split. But maybe it's time to use a gentler approach. Thank you for the insight.

How can one write an effective petition when their are multiple people involved. How can I write a powerful petition to drive away all rivals from my significant other. I have already started a love spell candle for her to love and desire only me. Now I need to banish all other men. How can I write a petition specific enough and in the right tense to do this. I wanted to do a tower candle on her abusive meddling ex. However is hotfoot the better alternative. Can I use hotfoot to drive away men that would try to engage her on social media, while also driving away any negative people who are secretly hating me.

My goal is to:

-Removal of rivals so I can have a healthy monogamous relationship

-Remove any secrets haters and opposition in my life

-Stop other men from trying to start something with her via social media

Hello Casteel344,

You have great questions but I have to ask that you limit each post to one topic, as it makes work for the moderators to have to split posts into their individual topic areas. I'm not going to do that here, but do ask that you post accordingly in the future.

Please consult the following thread for advice on crafting petitions.
petition-papers-and-name-papers-questio ... 21039.html

You can use Hot Foot to help send her abusive ex away. If you have access to where he lives, lay the powders outside his front door where he may step in them. Mix them with some local dirt to disguise their appearance to avoid arousing his suspicion.
https://www.luckymojo.com/products-hot-foot.html

You can put all rival men in a freezer spell to stop them from approaching your partner. You can read about freezer spells here:
general-freezer-spell-questions-and-answers-t8676.html

I hope this helps. Good luck.

What would be the effects of having both parties hotfooted away from each other ?

As in, vigil 1: girl is hotfoot away from boy
And vigil 2: boy is hotfoot away from girl

I have been trying to do break up work on a different couple since late January, though they may fight they keep rekindling. I finally decided to try adding hotfoot to the mix on the female, and now I’m wondering if the work would get that extra “kick” if I added hotfoot to the male as well. Thoughts?

*I wasn’t planning on hotfooting the male away from his current city, just want him away from her and vice versa*

SpellsnSuch,

I think it could work in theory. If you don't want the male target to move though, I'm not sure if I would follow through with it. I assume you have already tried Breakup jars, moving candle spells, and all the other breakup spells. If not, I would do those first.

Please note: You say you have been working on this since January. That's 5 months! I'd say that it's about time to finish up whatever spells you have working on them, dispose of them and move to something else. It's a very long time throwing negativity at others. It can't be good for you. Plus, it's a indication that the breakup wasn't meant to happen at this time.

Just something to consider.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I have tried a lemon spell, and a divorce candle (which has worked well in the past for me on other “couples” or “arrangements” even if they were not married), along with several runs of break up / destruction vigils from lucky mojo and deacon Millett.

I agree 5 months is a long time but honestly I feel like they are not supposed to be together. The male lies A LOT and cheats constantly, he down plays his relationship with her as well. He’s probably been with close to a dozen girls behind her back. I don’t think she knows all he is really up to behind her back, what he says, what he does. He is not good for her. She is VERY naive and sheltered.

Not sure what else to do but will probably take your advice and call it quits soon, more so because it’s getting expensive with no lasting results :(

i had to get this guy to leave me the f alone i had three candles handy. he was trying to take control of my house, abusive, and was marking everything talking about waiting till he gets my trust so he can rob me and take money from my debit card. i spent most of the weekend with him. ( i worked with ellegua ) the keeper of the cross roads a mighty prince of the coss roads. i had hot full oil from LM and the arrogant bastard left an earring i was like PERFECT !. so i got the last three black candles i had carved his name in the free standing candles and wrote his name and LAEAVE ME ALONE and carved X's on them to with the earring he was wearing then at the bottom stuck the earring in it at the base. it drained me because i started the spell work on the sunday as the sun was setting. then monday at around three am took the flame from the dying candle and lit it with the fire from the first while talking to ellegua, i told him protect the door protect this child of god from ( the guy and let his plots be ruined if he makes a move against me or had any plans of harming me or bringing malevolent things against me prayed psalms p-10. and of course he knocked on my door again. it DRAINED ME. but it WORKED this is a testimonnial on the hot foot. and also the power of the orisha. and also- i HATE mcdonalds but something was like go get a mcflurry. i was like k fine ya a mcflurry. and as i turn the corner. guess wwhos on the floor talking to police... guys if a "friend" an abusive lover ANYONE is Threatening your home. get thier hair in these days and times its not hard to offer someone a haircut cuz salons are closed. and save some. get a black candle and some banishing oil or hotfoot oil and if your like me you dont have a glass encased candle and cant wait for lucky mojos candle hopefully you have the oil. do it read PSALMS 9-10- 99for prtotection and and 99 for spiritual power. lucky mojo has got me trough so many times. plus my ancestory conjure bloodline. ANYWAY i have a question. i dont know whether save the remains to make a doll baby so i can wrap it up and tie him up so he cant bother me or plot against me. or take the remains and take them to a place FAR FAR AWAY. guys what should i do? *crucial piece of info he lives in the same apartment building and its hard to get kicked out. especially in covid finally bringing to light how real the homless crisis is in toronto. i think a dollbaby would be better, what do you guys think? as long as i have the doll baby if he f***s with me or my door i can truly harm him. * note* im a medium and my spiritual court told me you relax we will fight your battles for you. (wich they have clearly) but i dont feel rright throwing the remains away i can buy more black candles. and order oils for protection. ugh so annoying cuz this week i was going to begin my spiritual power and psychic abilitiy increase ritual. now i dont know. any way can i get some opinions? thanks guys. also if theres anyb lucky mojo graduates in toronto that have lucky mojo supplies here so i can get my candles, oils, and reading and build more community LET ME KNOW !!! cuz this situation was and potentially is still serious. and i cant wait two months or one nmonth for supplies from california.

tonyderegla ,

I would make a doll-baby and stick it in a mirror box, then you can keep it and shake it. When done bury at a cemetery.

As for shipping you can ask the order to be shipped out as the items become available this way you do not wait long for the items.
