Glad to be back!
Glad to be back!
It's been so long since I have been on here I thought I would reintroduce myself. My name is Alison and I live on a small farm in central Texas. I have been interested in plants and their healing powers since I was a little kid I just didn't know I wasn't the only one untill I was older. I have gone round and round with organized religion and not for many years. After suffering a terrible loss in my life, I did some soul searching(and a lot of reading) and many things became very clear. I was obviously onto something as a kid! I have always been drawn to people, places and things that are Native American and have a deep attachment to Louisiana, especially after living there. Seems a natural progression towards Hoodoo. I guess I'm saying it just feels "right". I'm glad to have found a place were I can talk with other people about our similar interests and get help. Thank you in advance.

Thank you everyone! Cat, I really enjoyed talking to you on the phone today and I can't wait to get started on the HRCC!! Have had a trip to New Orleans planned for a while and it will be especially educational and enlightening now, makes it that much cooler!!! Thanks again everyone and I look forward to talking/typing to you all!
Re: Glad to be back!
Does anyone have any recommendations on people, places or things to check out while I'm in NOLA? I'm familiar with the city and looking for more than the Bourbon St. curios and voodoo stores. I want to educate myself and soak in as much Southern hoodoo and history as I can on my visit. Thanks!
