I am so excited to see a forum on the Lucky Mojo site! My little brother and I have been fans of Lucky Mojo for many years, and have an interest in Southern folkways - hoodoo in particular.

My background is in historic archaeology, with an emphasis on the Southwest and c. 1860s South (United States), and I am currently also an attorney (not really exciting, but might as well know the worst :?) I would like to learn more about Mexican folk magic, but the sources are hard to find. When we lived in Tucson, there was a shrine that was periodically cleaned up by the Boy Scouts or other civic organizations, and I know we were missing 90% of what was actually happening on the site. Good stuff!

Thank you for creating the forum, and I look forward to learning.
