Lucky Mojo Hour (#2226)
For the record - I am missing the talks terribly. We have a serious phone line problem in
my house and are working on a date to have the telephone wire system indoors completely
rewired. As soon as this is accomplished, I'll be back.
I trust that Dr. K, Cat, Mambo Angel and all the rest of you good people will keep the
phonewires hot in my absence. Send some good mojo my way in the meantime.
Blessings,
Eoghan

Hoodoo Hour 11/10/04 (#2227)
Hello, folks --
I just got a call from Dr. Kioni -- he is not feeling well enough
tonight to host the weekly radio show. It's nothing serious; he is just
under the weather a bit. So siva is going to take his place doing the
phone bridge thing. We won't have nmusic or that smoooooth-voiced
introduction, or any of the spiffy radio show bells and whistles like
public service announcements -- but the show will go on. If anyone
listening has the ability to record it, please do so beccause siva and
i do not have that sort of technology around these parts.
The access code and call-in number has already been posted to the
elist, so check your Yahoo messages for tonight's numbers and let's try
to pull it off.
Wish us luck!

Hi all,
May be I am way out of line asking this.
I am not able to hear the radioshow. I don't know why, it should be able
to play with multi media player, I guess, but that only is on my laptop
and it just doesn't get it in.
Is there someone recording this shows for later use or archive-reasons,
and is it possibly so that I might ask if I could have copies? I would
like to pay for it, offcourse. In cash or a nice giftbox from the
netherlands, with home produced jellies from my own garden and of course
droste cocoa and choclate "flikken" the coin things Cat referred to
earlier. And some very nice St. Nicolas (5 december, not the Xmas
variety) stuff. Anyone???
7* (remind me, I am all alone hoodooing in holland. The one in europe,
that is...)
[Dr. Kioni, whose project the radio show is, has been making CDs available at low cost. He has sent me four so far, and he plans to do others as well. It is just a question of demand -- he is willing to copy whichever shoes you want, i believe, in sets of 4 CDs, one show per CD. Incidentally, all the money from the sales of the CDs is his to keep, as he is the one who does the work of bringing the shows togwether every week. --cat]

Why Some 2004 Radio Shows Are Not in Dr. Kioni's Archive (#2238)
(This question ran in the 2004 course list, but i thought it worthwhile
to copy over here. --cat)
Hi Cat: I noticed that some of the broadcast of Hoodoo Rootwork hour
which broadcast live on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. are not in the
archive on Dr. Kioni's website. Why is this? Is it because he wants
us to buy his CD's? I have been going to classes on Wednesday nights
and I'm unable to listen in. Please tell us the reason. Thanks.
(There are actually several reasons! A couple of shows were never
recorded, due to technological glitches. (and if anyone does have
recordings of shows that Dr. Kioni did not record, please contact him!)
A couple of shows were accidentally deleted from his hard drive before
back-ups were made and it seems that no one else recorded them. Others
are not on his online archive because he only has limited storage space
at his web server. Still others were recorded and are on his hard drive
and will be rotated in and out of the archives as he has room for them.
You can order custom CDs of any of the radio shows he has, as long as
you order 4 CDs per set. Contact him directly. His email is
drkioni@drkioni.com. Put the words "Hoodoo Radio Show" in the subject
line of your email to him so he knows what you are enquiring about.
Incidentally, all the money from the sale of radio show CDs goes to
Dr. Kioni, as the radio show is his wonderful project and i am just
along for the ride. --cat)
