LMHRH Radio Show 10/12/05 Tying and Nailing Spells (Dr. Kioni, Cat Yrownode, Eoghan Ballard)

Unread post by catherineyronwode » Wed Oct 12, 2005 10:46 pm

I want to extend my appreciative thanks to Dr. Eoghan Ballard for an
informative show on the African origins of the hoodoo customs of
wrapping, tying, nailing, and containing spells. Eoghan's singing of a
Congo chant for tying people was amazing, and it really brought home to
us all the ancient African roots of these common hoodoo practices.

Thanks also, as always, to our faithful and talented Dr. Kioni for
running the webcast from his home studio and thus making the show
available over the internet to listeners from all around the world.

Thanks too to panelists Dara, Robin, and nagasiva, and to our callers
for their insightful comments and for good questions that led to some
unespectedly in-depth replies.

If you could not listen to the radio show tonight via your computer at
drkioni.com or via the telephone bridge access number, you may yet have
an opportunity to hear this week's show on tying and nailing when Dr.
Kioni eventually uploads it to his Hoodoo Rootwork Hour radio show
archives and makes it available for purchase on CD. Keep checking
drkioni.com for announcements of new show archives -- or keep an eye
out in this hrcourse list for news from Dr. K.

Next week's Rootwork Hour will be about "Third Party" healing,
cleansing, and blessing spells -- that is, spells done by a worker (the
first party) on behalf of a client (the second party) to help the
client's loved one, friend, or relative (the third party) overcome
sickness, jinxes, additctions, or jail issuees. Our speakers on this
topic will be Dr. Kioni and Dara Anslowar. The telephone access numbers
will be given out prior to the show, as always, and i think that
whether you are a professional practitoner looking for tips in this
area of the work, or a client seeking to learn how spiritual
consultants handle such requests, you will find this a topic of great
interest.

Cordially,

cat yronwode
