EcleckticMama Says, "Hello"

Unread post by EcleckticMama » Wed Feb 04, 2009 9:29 am

Hello, I am just starting to learn rootwork magical herbalism. I am tickled to pieces to see the appearance of this forum. I found lucky mojo's sites through multiple pathways (searching on lyrics of "Cotton -eyed Joe", herbal info, and other lyrics) just over a year ago and have been reading Miss cat's articles on a variety of topics ever since.

I am drawn to the rootwork lore gathered by cat because it suits a need (desire) I have as someone of Scots descent living now in the Appalachians. While I've been drawn to the magical properties of herbs for more than 20 years, all other texts I've approached have had a heavy Neopagan bias that felt either diluted or just in other ways not "honest" to my soul.
