I think there are real challenges that we have not faced before. But I also think it's healthy to acknowledge that the earth will remain, even if as a species we falter. I dunno. That probably reads pretty much circular, but I think a new world is always emerging and we're constantly releasing its previous versions. I think holy folx have the responsibility to remember and bring things forward and forge new connections.

For me, I always celebrate the "days of Cyprian" in September, so that's a fall "holiday" for me.
