Have you ever wondered why candles and lamps are so central to the practice of hoodoo; why there are so many different sizes, shapes, and colours of candles and lamps available at your local metaphysical shop; and how to select the best candles for your own spellwork? The AIRR Tech Team is here to help! We have taken inventory of the many illuminating tools of conjure and placed them in a great big illustrated web page on Hoodoo Candles and Lamps -- just for you! Sacred lights are used in the fixing and preparation of mojo bags, placed on container or jar spells, and employed on altars or in acts of religious veneration and devotion, and this illustrated guide shows you just how it's done. Catherine Yronwode wrote the page with contributions by Miss Michaele, Mama Vergi, Papa Newt, Nagasiva Yronwode, and Lukianos. Illustrations were provided by Lara Rivera, Miss Benedikte, Madame Pamita, Deacon Millett, Selah, Miss Michaele, and Unknown Photographers. Lukianos did site-wide linking and proofreading and Nagasiva created this graphic announcement. Check out our scintillating page on Hoodoo Candles and Lamps!
