Reversing Vigil Candle Questions and Answers

Unread postby Ariel10 » Mon Oct 12, 2009 11:18 am

I am burning a glass Reversing vigil candle (black on top, red at the bottom), to send back what was sent to me. The black wax is running into the red, is this some sort of a sign or did it come from me putting to much oil on the candle?

This is not a sign. When you have two colors made of wax they are going to burn into each other. Now a sign would be if it was hissing and popping. Or the candle went out. In the future poke holes into the wax, and pour your oil into them. You do not need to douse the candle with oil, that does not make the candle bring your petition any faster. Just a few drops is enough.

Thank you so much, the candle is not hissing or popping. I burn it a couple hours a day and from what i've been told, IT IS WORKING. The next time i light it should i poke a hole in it?

I meant poke holes in it when you are initially are dressing the candle at the beginning. As long as the candle is working, thats all that matters. Relax and be patient.

Black Candle Dressed w Reversing Oil as a Reversing Candle?

Unread postby redacepilot » Mon Feb 07, 2011 4:22 pm

Hi I have a question.

Can I just burn a plain black candle that I have from Lucky Mojo and dress it with Reversing Oil to reverse all the negative back to sender?

I already have good candles burning.

Would that work?

It is not common to use a plain black 4" candle or 6"candle or Jumbo candle or vigil light as a Reversing Candle. I mean, you can do it, but you have no "good end" of the candle, like you do in a Double Action Jumbo candle or Reversing Vigil Light, and you have no "good core" of the candle like you do in a black-over-red Reversing Jumbo candle.

Look at the label on the Reversing Oil or the Reversing Vigil light -- see how it informs you that you should dress the oil both ways and carve the name backwards? If you can at least do that, i'd guess you'd be okay -- but without the "other half" or the "inside" of the candles for good things, what you've got sounds to me more like a cursing candle than like an actual reversing candle, despite your use of Reversing Oil.

I agree with Cat. I have done this for myself when in a bind or if I have nothing else, but I will follow it up with something to bring in the good luck or positivity to compensate for the "good end" Cat speaks of For example, if I dont have a double action half white/half black candle, then I will get a black candle and a white candle. I did this once or twice. However i will go back and strengthen the work up once I get my hands on a reversing candle, or double action candle.

If you find that you can't get the proper supplies in time, then you can always order from Missionary Independent Spiritual Church.

I like to include the Devil Pod to ward off evil, dress it with Fiery Wall of Protection or Cast off Evil and place above your door facing outward. You can also carry it in a mojo bag and keep it close to you. Works wonderfully.

My reversing candle is starting to have black streaks on top

Unread postby newbie2012 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 1:42 pm

Hi,

My reversing candle is starting to have black streaks on top of the candle today after burning it for over a day.
What does that mean? What do you suggest?
Thanks in advance.

I suggest you finish burning the candle so that you get a complete candle divination from the candle.

Black streaks can mean obstacles if they are just at the top.

You can read this link for other candle divination signs:

http://www.luckymojo.com/candlemagicdivination.html

I would finish this candle, and perhaps you need to get a reading after to see what these obstacles are and what you can do to work through them.

It means your work has gotten off to a rough start. Your candle may show signs of improvement as the work goes on -- a band of black at the top, clearing up on the way down -- so don't give up yet.

newbie2012: I agree with everyone else here. Try to stay calm and positive about the burn and wait for it to finish. Don;t throw it off by fretting and worrying already, only one day into your work. To be honest, I once had a candle start out with a semi-dark black soot starting to build up on the top and by the time it was done burning the ring of soot was almost completely transparent. Candle divination is a very interesting and ever surprising/changing area of work. Keep calm and carry on with the burn! :) Make sure to drop us a note when it's done letting us know what happened.

Thanks guys. I wasn't gonna use a reversible ever again just because of the time consuming of cleansing and possible come-back karmas and I can't burn my 4 money drawing related candles, but my parents' psychic attacks from Fridays-Mondays feels like a ritual and the cord attachments made me forgetful.

So right now, I had 1 Fiery Wall of Protection candle burning at Deacon's and he just mentioned he had to relit it.

That is a bad sign right?

I also have 2 candles burning at home.

Right now, I have to admit, my head don't feel inflamed today (Monday), but I still feel mild annoying cords attached to my upper chakras that I have been pulling out.

I will keep you updated. Thanks.

I don't know how much I can personally help you with your "come-back karmas" or the "cords attached to your upper chakras" but I hope I was able to help a little. The main thing I was trying to impart is to stay calm and allow the work to be done.

I am burning a Reversing vigil candle candle and the flame one day will burn high and the next very low, almost completely extinguished. The glass is clear, the wick burns to one side, there was no wax residue until today. Am I over reacting? If not, what's your suggestion?

As long as the glass is clear, no problems. When the flame fluctuates, it means the situation is up and down, unsettled, strong work, weak work intermingled, quick results, slow results intermingled. Be patient and read the glass after the Reversing candle is finished.

Well my Reversing candle finished burning. It has half a ring on top in almost solid black color then goes down to 1/4 of black streaks and the rest of the glass candle has light white streaks. Not sure if it is working, but since all 3 of the protection candles finished burning, I now have a headache. I just ordered a Fiery Wall of Protection to be burn at a rootworker's altar and will soon burn another protection candle at my place.

I feel like, I have to burn protection candles weekly to minimize the feelings of attacks.

I have been thinking about a mirror jar or mirror box for 1 of my parents since I have no feelings for her and has stopped calling her mother since I was in 5th grade. I was never her favorite and she made me a black sheep during my entire childhood even when I came back from college. She always called me a "B#@@@" instead of my real name since I was in elementary school.

I don't carry any pictures of my parents. I don't think I am the person who can do a mirror box or mirror jar.
Does anyone know of a rootworker who can do it for $150 or less?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Reversing Candle Questions and Answers

Unread postby Newatthis » Sun Apr 22, 2012 10:28 am

Is the reversing candle meant for reversing all kinds of bad luck in your life?

Would it be just as affective if I had the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church set lights using the Glass-encased reversible vigil candle, on my behalf, or would it be more powerful if I did it myself also at the same time as them?

Hi Hoodoogirl,

the Reversing candle and product line are used to reverse bad luck or crossed conditions that have been set on you by someone: it sends it back to them. To turn bad luck to good then Van Van products or Hindu Grass products can be of aid, these don't come in Vigil lights however - you could anoint candles with the oil and burn them or use the bath crystals as a floor and laundry wash as well as in spiritual bathing. Uncrossing products would also be well-suited to your situation and there is an Uncrossing Vigil light: http://www.luckymojo.com/candle-uncrossing.html

As to which is more effective it's simply a question of preference and also depends on your individual case. If a condition is particularly long-standing, it can be good to set a run of lights (either by you or by MISC or by both), a run of three candles is common. If you burn one at home while MISC also burns one on their altar then this is known as ''backing up the work''. Consider it a ''double-whammy'' burn. The nice thing about that is that you can compare your home burn to the candle report you get and see if there are differences which could help you ascertain the next step(s) to take, if any.

Blessings.

can you carry the devil pod with in the Uncrossing mojo bag?

When you put the devil pod above your door, can you still close the door with it above?

You can carry the devil pod with you, but the idea is to keep evil out so I wouldnt put it in an uncrossing mojo bag. Perhaps one for protection, or a run devil run mojo bag.

You can tape it above your doorway so that you can still close the door.

Hi Newatthis,

When burning a Vigil light, I usually place a name paper below the candle or taped to the side of it since often the herbs on top will not permit you to carve your name.

Thanks for your reply Aura. And since I don't know who my enemy is, should I just write send back to my enemy on the peition and put that under the candle as well? Also if I have more than one area of my life has bad luck, should I burn more than one reversible glass candle and put different petitions underneath each one?

Yes writing send back to my enemy is fine. Here is how to conduct a reversing candle
www.luckymojo.com/reversing.html

If you have more back luck in your life then you should seek out getting some reversing work done.

There are different candles for specific parts of your life. Half black/half green is for unjinxing/uncrossing financies, money, and job. Half red/half back is for uncrossing your love life. And half black/half white is good for general purpose.

I would do each aspect of your life so that you can see which one needs more work.

Thanks Starsinthesky7. Those vigil candles that you mentioned, are those double action candles? Wouldn't reversing glass vigil candles take care of the job of reversing all kinds of bad luck? The ones with the black over the red.

When writing the word Enemy on the name paper or petition paper, should I write it backwards?

Also on the LM Website it says you could also burn the vigil candles on a mirror. If I did that, would I still have to take the mirror to the middle of the crossroads and then break it with a hammer?

I just looked to see if they had any green over black, and white over black glass encased vigil candles that come fixed on the LM website and I didn't see any. I only saw the gold over green vigil glass candle. Is that meant for the same thing as the green over black vigil candle?

Should I just use the black over red reversible vigil glass candle instead?

RETURN TO SENDER CANDLE

Unread postby blessebythebest » Sat Apr 28, 2012 7:52 pm

HI Everyone:

I brought a "Return to Sender" candle already dressed by LM. My question is, Is it okay to burn it in my room, because I have no place else to burn it. It is already lite and 1/2 burned on a mirror. This person tried to kill me and probably is still trying, but I feel bad about doing it. I decided to finish burning the candle and not break the mirror, and let God handle the rest. Will I be safe burning it in room?

one, yes, two , why do you care if a person is trying to kill you would you not send to them . next, LM does not have a return to sender candle, unless you mean reversal. which means the candle reveres the work back onto the person. yes u can burn it in your room. I dont know why you feel bad about a person trying to kill you and you using a candle LM does not carry to reverse that work on them to protect you. But I can suggest that maybe you look into this spell kit http://www.luckymojo.com/products-fiery-wall.html

I call them my angels sent from God. Thank you. I needed that reassurance. I've been under this person's spell for around 4 years and its just wearing off. Again, thank you.

Newatthis --

No, vigil candles are not double action candles.

Please read more about types of candles, with pictures, here in my online free book "Hoodoo in Theory and Practice"

http://luckymojo.com/candlemagic.html

Here is the label from a Reversing Vigil Candle. Only VIGIL and NOVENA candles have labels:

For even more pictures and discussion of Double Action Jumbo and Reversing Jumbo candles, you can also see this Forum thread:

Double Action / Reversing Candle 6"/9" Questions and Answers
double-action-reversing-candle-6%22-9%22-questions-and-answers-t8768.html

Double Action and Reversing come in both the 6" offertory size and the 9" jumbo size. Both sizes are free-standing candles ("free standing" means a wax taper or pillar or figural casting that is not in a glass or metal casing), and free-standing candles do not have labels.

Yes, you can burn a Reversing vigil in your room.

blessebythebest --

Lots of ppl have small work spaces and have to use the same or similar area for different works. So yes you can burn them in the same room on a different table as you suggested. If work was done on you i'd

a) get a reading by an AIRR worker

b) buy the uncrossing spell kit, followed with

c) a total home cleanse and

d) a fiery wall of protection spell kit.

You can also look into hiring a rootworker from AIRR to do reversing work or binding work to prevent future attempts by this individual.

Best of luck!

Do you burn the reversing glass encased vigil candles on a mirror and then aftewards can you throw the candle in a river? I asked the part about burning the glass reversing candle on a mirror last week, but nobody has answered that question yet?

Thanks Starsinthesky7. I have another question that I forgot to ask, that I asked last week. After you burn the reversible glass candle on a mirror, do you have to take the mirror to a crossroads and brake it with a hammer?

There are no places around where I live that recyles glass, so what should I do with the glass candle after I'm done with it?

Hello, Newatthis --

1) You do not need to burn a Reversing Vigil light on a mirror. That spell work is much older and more traditional than vigil light work and relates to a free-standing double action candle, either 6" or 9" and not encased in glass. That spell is a real, old-time, hard-core spell. Vigil light work is not as physically interactive as work with free-standing candles.

In addition, the words "do you have to?" mean that you are probably working unaided and in the dark as to the theory and practice of this form of magic. I suggest that you read more about the THEORY of magic and less about "spells." Then you will understand that the question, "Do i have to?" is the surest way to render your own work ineffective and null and void.

2) You say that, "There are no places around where I live that recyles glass, so what should I do with the glass candle after I'm done with it?"

Honey, i call B.S. on that. Your IP address is as follows:

IP Address 68.32.87.166
City West Bloomfield
State or Region Michigan
Country United States
ISP Comcast Cable Communications Inc..
Latitude & Longitude 42.542 -83.381 MapG MapV
Domain comcast.net
ZIP Code 48322

Here is the West Bloomfield Township Recycling Guide:

Residential Recycling
In West Bloomfield, our recyclables are picked up by our waste service providers. Each service provider has different recycling services available for customers, so it is important to know what materials your provider will take. Our major services providers are Allied Waste Management, Nichols Disposal, and Washington Disposal. Click on the links below to review each company's recycling procedures and guides.

So i clicked for you!

1) Allied Waste Recycling Services
Allied Waste will pick up a variety of recycled goods including plastics, glass, paper, and metals. In particular, Allied Waste will recycle plastics #1 and #2, which includes most beverage bottles, milk jugs, and detergent bottles. Please thoroughly rinse these containers prior to putting them into your recycling bins. Allied Waste will also recycle clear, brown, green, and blue glass. All aluminum products can be recycled. Most everyday paper products can be recycled, but please make sure that these products are clean. Cardboard can be picked up if it is bundled and no larger than 2' by 2'. Cereal boxes are acceptable. All materials can be thrown together into the same approved recycling bin and placed out on the curb next to the trash each week. For more information about Allied Waste's recycling services as well as other available recycling services, please consult our printable recycling guide.

2) Washington Disposal Recycling Services
Washington Disposal recycles paper, metals, glass, and plastics as well. Most household paper products can be recycled, excluding coated or dirty materials. Newspapers and cardboard must be bundled, and cardboard must be less than 3' by 3' in size. All brown, clear, and green glass can be recycled, as can all tin and aluminum products. Recycling will be picked up every other week, following a West Bloomfield schedule. All materials can be thrown together into the same bin. For more detailed information about Washington Disposal's recycling services as well as other available recycling services, please consult our printable recycling guide.

3) Nichols Disposal Recycling Services
Nichols Disposal will recycle all plastics, metals, and uncoated paper. Cardboard will not be recycled. All materials can be thrown together into the same approved recycling bin and placed out on the curb next to the trash each week. For more information about Nichols Disposal's recycling services, please contact the provider at (248) 420-7776 or see our printable recycling guide.

I noted that #3, Nichols Disposal, does not list glass, so i phoned the number and spoke with a very nice man who informed me that

A) His service DOES recycle glass but --

B) The web page is out of date and Nichols Disposal no longer picks up in West Bloomfield. However, he said, "If you got a lot of glass, more than ordinary, you know, more than what fit in your own bin, you just take it out to Richfield Waste Services. But if it fits in your bin, in West Bloomfield, they do recycle it."

So now you know.

What about writing the person or desired situation on sheepskin or regular parchment in either doves blood ink or dragons blood ink, depending on the situation, annointing the four corners with the same oil used in the candle, and either rolling the parchment towards you or away (drawing / banishing). Then using your piercer, (to make holes in your candle for dressing) and pushing the parchment into the candle?

Which method is more desireable?

I'd say that's a pretty bad idea. A piece of parchment paper or even real parchment in a candle would undoubtedly catch on fire, in essence becoming a very large wick. The flame from it would probably blacken the whole candle glass with soot and might burn hot enough to crack the glass and make a huge mess, not to mention the fire hazard.

Petition papers and photos are generally placed under a candle, either under a holder or under a over turned saucer, for vigil light some people like to tape the petition to the outside of the glass.
God bless you Dr Jose Gregorio Hernandez.

how long to burn a candle

Unread postby tiger-joy » Wed Jun 27, 2012 4:28 pm

I purchased a black and red large candle to use for a reversing spell. If I am supposed to burn it for 9 nights, how long should I burn it each night?

thanks

You can make notches in the wax dividing the candle up into 9 equal sections and burn each section every day.

Papa_Newt has the right idea. This is the best way to ensure you get all nine nights worth of burning out of the candle!

You'll have to keep a fairly close eye on it, though. If it's one of these --

-- the burn time is about 30 hours, though they can burn up in 12 hours or so. I'd mark off sections as Papa Newt describes and just glance at it every half-hour or so. The first night should give you a rough idea of the burn time for your candle working on your spell.

Hope this helps,

Miss Michaele

I butted the end of the candle and cut out the reverse side. The wick was all the way over to one side and the candle burned into a puddle of wax in about 30 minutes. I have about half left. How do I get a replacement?

When you set a run of vigil glass lights, do you burn them on a different day of the week for each one?

Since the Reversing vigil glass candle is for any bad luck that you have, can you burn it on Thursday if you have bad luck with money and on Friday for bad luck with love etc?

Newatthis,

Please refer to this page in how to do a reversing candle, and refer to early instructions in the thread.

www.luckymojo.com/reversing.html

A run of lights can be the same candle burned for how every many times. So if you wanted a run of 7 reversing candles you would burn them one after the other.

If you wanted several different candles such as an uncrossing candle, protection, then van van. Then you can burn the uncrossing on a Saturday, the protection on a Sunday, or another day good for protection, and van van on a wednesday.

And yes you can burn the candle on a day that is associated with your intentions.

Hello all, I just received my green and black reversing candle. Miss Kat if you see the question I'd really appreciate it (since we spoke about it) or whoever can be of help. I know the process of dressing and preparing the candle but I have brain freeze (too much going on) as far as what is carved on the candle. On the green part I carve my name but on the black part I can't for the life of me remember what is carved! :(( just that it is carved in mirror writing, please help. Thank you in advance

Your enemy's name is supposed to be on the black part of the candle in mirror writing. http://www.luckymojo.com/reversing.html Don't forget to butt the candle!

Thanks for the reply, there is no enemy. It's money owed from many different situations that has been blocked. That is why I don't know what to write there, unless its something like '' all who are obstructing my money'' ?
