I am burning a glass Reversing vigil candle (black on top, red at the bottom), to send back what was sent to me. The black wax is running into the red, is this some sort of a sign or did it come from me putting to much oil on the candle?

This is not a sign. When you have two colors made of wax they are going to burn into each other. Now a sign would be if it was hissing and popping. Or the candle went out. In the future poke holes into the wax, and pour your oil into them. You do not need to douse the candle with oil, that does not make the candle bring your petition any faster. Just a few drops is enough.

Thank you so much, the candle is not hissing or popping. I burn it a couple hours a day and from what i've been told, IT IS WORKING. The next time i light it should i poke a hole in it?

I meant poke holes in it when you are initially are dressing the candle at the beginning. As long as the candle is working, thats all that matters. Relax and be patient.

Hi I have a question.

Can I just burn a plain black candle that I have from Lucky Mojo and dress it with Reversing Oil to reverse all the negative back to sender?

I already have good candles burning.

Would that work?

It is not common to use a plain black 4" candle or 6"candle or Jumbo candle or vigil light as a Reversing Candle. I mean, you can do it, but you have no "good end" of the candle, like you do in a Double Action Jumbo candle or Reversing Vigil Light, and you have no "good core" of the candle like you do in a black-over-red Reversing Jumbo candle.

Look at the label on the Reversing Oil or the Reversing Vigil light -- see how it informs you that you should dress the oil both ways and carve the name backwards? If you can at least do that, i'd guess you'd be okay -- but without the "other half" or the "inside" of the candles for good things, what you've got sounds to me more like a cursing candle than like an actual reversing candle, despite your use of Reversing Oil.

I agree with Cat. I have done this for myself when in a bind or if I have nothing else, but I will follow it up with something to bring in the good luck or positivity to compensate for the "good end" Cat speaks of For example, if I dont have a double action half white/half black candle, then I will get a black candle and a white candle. I did this once or twice. However i will go back and strengthen the work up once I get my hands on a reversing candle, or double action candle.

I like to include the Devil Pod to ward off evil, dress it with Fiery Wall of Protection or Cast off Evil and place above your door facing outward. You can also carry it in a mojo bag and keep it close to you. Works wonderfully.

I do this all the time, but what i usually do is burn a 7 day white jar candle along side with blessing oil. i was told never burn a nblack candle alone, burn a white one to balance the energies out!

I am burning a Reversing vigil candle candle and the flame one day will burn high and the next very low, almost completely extinguished. The glass is clear, the wick burns to one side, there was no wax residue until today. Am I over reacting? If not, what's your suggestion?

As long as the glass is clear, no problems. When the flame fluctuates, it means the situation is up and down, unsettled, strong work, weak work intermingled, quick results, slow results intermingled. Be patient and read the glass after the Reversing candle is finished.

Would it be just as affective if I had the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church set lights using the Glass-encased reversible vigil candle, on my behalf, or would it be more powerful if I did it myself also at the same time as them?

Hi Hoodoogirl,

the Reversing candle and product line are used to reverse bad luck or crossed conditions that have been set on you by someone: it sends it back to them. To turn bad luck to good then Van Van products or Hindu Grass products can be of aid, these don't come in Vigil lights however - you could anoint candles with the oil and burn them or use the bath crystals as a floor and laundry wash as well as in spiritual bathing. As to which is more effective it's simply a question of preference and also depends on your individual case. If a condition is particularly long-standing, it can be good to set a run of lights (either by you or by MISC or by both), a run of three candles is common. If you burn one at home while MISC also burns one on their altar then this is known as ''backing up the work''. Consider it a ''double-whammy'' burn. The nice thing about that is that you can compare your home burn to the candle report you get and see if there are differences which could help you ascertain the next step(s) to take, if any.

When you put the devil pod above your door, can you still close the door with it above?

You can carry the devil pod with you, but the idea is to keep evil out so I wouldnt put it in an uncrossing mojo bag. Perhaps one for protection, or a run devil run mojo bag.

You can tape it above your doorway so that you can still close the door.

Hi Newatthis,

When burning a Vigil light, I usually place a name paper below the candle or taped to the side of it since often the herbs on top will not permit you to carve your name.

Thanks for your reply Aura. And since I don't know who my enemy is, should I just write send back to my enemy on the peition and put that under the candle as well? Also if I have more than one area of my life has bad luck, should I burn more than one reversible glass candle and put different petitions underneath each one?

If you have more back luck in your life then you should seek out getting some reversing work done.

There are different candles for specific parts of your life. Half black/half green is for unjinxing/uncrossing financies,money, and job. Half red/half back is for uncrossing your love life. And half black/half white is good for general purpose.

I would do each aspect of your life so that you can see which one needs more work.

Thanks Starsinthesky7. Those vigil candles that you mentioned, are those double action candles? Wouldn't reversing glass vigil candles take care of the job of reversing all kinds of bad luck? The ones with the black over the red.

When writing the word Enemy on the name paper or petition paper, should I write it backwards?

Also on the LM Website it says you could also burn the vigil candles on a mirror. If I did that, would I still have to take the mirror to the middle of the crossroads and then break it with a hammer?

I just looked to see if they had any green over black, and white over black glass encased vigil candles that come fixed on the LM website and I didn't see any. I only saw the gold over green vigil glass candle. Is that meant for the same thing as the green over black vigil candle?

Should I just use the black over red reversible vigil glass candle instead?

HI Everyone:

I brought a "Return to Sender" candle already dressed by LM. My question is, Is it okay to burn it in my room, because I have no place else to burn it. It is already lite and 1/2 burned on a mirror. This person tried to kill me and probably is still trying, but I feel bad about doing it. I decided to finish burning the candle and not break the mirror, and let God handle the rest. Will I be safe burning it in room?

one, yes, two , why do you care if a person is trying to kill you would you not send to them . next, LM does not have a return to sender candle, unless you mean reversal. which means the candle reveres the work back onto the person. yes u can burn it in your room. I dont know why you feel bad about a person trying to kill you and you using a candle LM does not carry to reverse that work on them to protect you. Hi: You're right. I know that I am doing the right thing, and I'm sorry, it is called a reverse candle. It had those words on the candle. Without LM, I really wouldn't be alive. I call them my angels sent from God. Thank you. I needed that reassurance. I've been under this person's spell for around 4 years and its just wearing off. Again, thank you.
