oooo, good point Cat. I completely missed that...so in the case of water-based, perhaps a bit of bath crystals dissolved in water and then added? Not a lot as you don't want the salty residue showing on your walls, but that could work, at least in theory.

There was a thread here somewhere about how to use oils. There was a mention of adding a few drops to paint when painting a room, or even artists adding a smidge to their paints when creating. Hopefully one of the mods has the link handy if a search doesn't turn it up.

Geena, the paper and iron works. I've used it on altar cloths before. However I would not use a 'thin' piece of paper. I used thick paper bags from the grocery store. You don't want to paper to singe and possibly catch fire.
