Did you ask your Pendulum to show what "maybe" looks like? When I first received mine from LM, I asked mine to show me yes, then no, and maybe... mine was clear as to what clockwise meant, counter-clockwise and then a swinging motion (north 2 south movement)...hope this helps!!!
