Have you thought about working towards getting a better (higher paid) job? It seems to me that would be a better, easier and quicker solution than just trying to find another home that's less money especially since you have kids and have to consider school districts and such.

I personally don't cleanse before doing "dirty" work. In fact I want all the negative junk that may have piled up present when I'm doing this type of work. I feel like it helps to increase the negative energy that that I want to put into the task. Cleanse after you have completed your work.
