Thank you so much for the compliment Aura - it is a Yogi Tea quote

Thank you so much for your post - I have my pic on top of my targets

but now the question is now that my lodestones are mated, I need to store them like that and keep feeding them - but the pictures are there....

I would just hate for soemone to open my jewelry drawer and see the work that I have done with the pictures

any recommentions?

You could place everything in a little box in the jewelry drawer, that way there's an extra barrier. A locked jewelry box for example would look very natural and allow you to keep the whole set-up under lock and key.

Im having just one of those days  I made as love lamp earlier with lodestones- I baptised them with whiskey, named them, fed them magnetic sand BUT forgot to annoit them with my love oils. BUT I did add the love oils in the lamp. Is that ok or do I need to redo it?

There are many ways to create a love lamp, the way you described is one...its kinda like personalizing it for your situation.

Ok so i was recommended to do lodestone work to get my ex back into a relationship, i am already doing a honey jar on him.
I need to know what are the steps i need to take to do this spell the write way, i have read the link for the lodestone but i am a bit
confused as to do i need to leave the 2 lodestone at a distance from one another and move them close to each other as i annoit it with oil and feed it with magnetic sand? do i need to leave these 2 lodestones at a certain place while the work is progressing? the reason i ask is because i live with family and cant really leave it out as they would question me so i would have to do the work and out the lodestones away some place safe. Another thing is i dont have any of his personal concerns does that mean i just put his picture underneath his stone and talk to and feed it? while on my stone i can put my sexual fluid and speak to it as well...? I know its a lot of questions but i am really confused about this one and CM suggested this would draw my ex back into a relationship so i want to make sure i do it absolutely correctly.

Hi notsoperfect7,

you can read about how to work lodestones in love spells in the following pages: http://www.luckymojo.com/lovespells.htm ... oneattract

The method is the same in Reconciliation work except that the two parties are you and your ex. You could also check with your worker and ask if the Reconciliation spell kit from LM would do the trick since it comes with everything you need plus instructions (it has a matched set of lodestones): http://www.luckymojo.com/spell-reconciliation.html.

To keep the work hid, you can set everything up on a rigid board and then place the board under your bed or in the closet when you're not working it.

For the personal concerns, use his photo if that's all you have, but if you can get a piece of worn clothing, a hair, a letter that he hand-wrote to you when you were courting, all of those are good to use in the work.

Blessings and best of luck.

I have been using the lodestone from the Money Drawing kit for about 6 months: feeding it magnetic sand daily and giving it money from my wallet weekly. At the time, keeping the money I had seemed most important, but now I think I want to start drawing in money, too. Can I expand the mission of my lodestone to include money drawing as well as money keeping? If so, do you have any suggestions for how?

I read this whole thread and saw where you shouldn't use love lodestones for money or vice-versa, but nothing about changing the scope of your stone's money work.

Hi. I wanted to know I would I go about working with a pair of lodestones that I have not fed for a while? They are still touching and still have magnet to them. What should I do?

Terengo: Yes, you can start to incorporate the act of drawing, as well as saving, money. Ask your lodestone if it is willing to do this work for you. If you feel like you want to, you can go ahead and re-baptize the Lodestone with some whiskey or Hoyt's Cologne. Your Lodestone can definitely be used for all sorts of money drawing work, once it is dedicated to such work.

rosario411: Ask the Lodestones if they are ready to begin working again for you. You may need to do a quick divination to find this out. If they seem to want to keep working and you feel good about it then re-dedicate and baptize them for your drawing purpose and start to feed them regularly. You didn't indicate if you were planning on having them continue working for the same purpose as you worked with them before...is this the case?

I had started my lodestone work to draw someone close to me. I was doing so daily and talking to them, however, on the third day we had a gas leak in our apartment building and I was not allowed into my apartment for two days. Should I clean my stones and start a new, or pick what where I left off?

scooty12: I would just pick up where I had left off. In my opinion there is no need to re-start the entire work. Do a quick divination if you are still unsure.

I was going though a trunk today and found 2 lodestones that I purchased through LM some years ago. I do not recall if i purchased them as a pair or not and I would like to use them as a pair for drawing someone in particular in. I'm not sure if they are 2 males, or a male and female or what. Is there a way I can tell for sure. I did read that the females are more rounded than the males but I'm having a hard time telling what genders these stones are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to know when using a pair of lodestones for love work, are the 2 stones magnetically attracted to each other? In other words when set down next to each other will they pull each other together?

Thanks

I've had mine awhile now and they're doing great. I keep them in a little soapstone bowl in their bed of herbs. My house is old, though, so there's a lot of dust and I often find myself sifting through everything picking out bits of dust. I was thinking of getting them a little covered container but they're working so well, I'm inclined to leave them as is. I saw on the lodestones page that Miss Cat keeps hers in a candy dish, would this be one of the covered ones? Are lodestones that live on an altar traditionally kept in a covered or open container?

I keep both paired lodestones and a single lodestone on my altar at all times-none of them are in covered containers. I dust them off once a month, feed them some really good whisky, give them a night off, anoint them with the appropriate oils the next day and then set them working for me again for another month. If you clean them off regularly you should not have an issue with dust. Some spells do call for the lodestone to be placed on a plate but kept in a drawer-so that is something else to consider.

Thanks, Bri!
Mine are working so well where they are, I really don't want to move them. I've been needing to clean them a little more than monthly due to the dust issues here, but maybe they like the extra attention. ;)

I'm so excited right now, I just can't sit still. :!:

I tried one of the lodestone spells from LM and it worked! I was a little worried because the lodestone and magnetic sand I used were purchased years ago from LM, and they had been sitting in storage all this time. Still, I told myself it couldn't hurt...

Fast forward 7 days later... All day, I'm wondering if I completed the ritual properly, doubting myself 100% the whole time. For giggles, I decide to follow up with a couple of companies I never heard back from. I got a few more rejections out if it before **blam!** An email hits my inbox with the news I'm going to be getting a shot at one of the jobs. Woo hoo!!

Of course, I'm ready to kiss the lodestone, but I'm fairly sure it's not part of the ritual.

Congrats! It's not a blarney stone! Great share, but you don't have to kiss it; you have to feed it:

What do I do with the lodestone now? Do I bury it or keep feeding it? When do I stop feeding it?

I re-read the link, and I see where I was confused. The majority of the page addresses continued work, but the spell I performed (also on that page) says to thank the lodestone and bury it once I have been granted my wish. I was hesitant to bury it, though, because its alive to me, too, and I want it to continue to bring good luck into my life. What do you guys think I should do?

congrats to you. I hope you dont doubt future work as you see this stuff realyl does work. You can cleanse the lodestone with hoyt's cologne or whiskey. As long as you use it for the same purpose then you should be fine. I dont think you can repurpose it for something else like love, but perhaps for general luck in your life.

Not always no. In general if you are working with paired lodestones you want them both to be pretty close in size. Size is not what determines the sex of a lodestone tho, it is the shape and character of the stone, so you can find examples of both sexes in a range of sizes, from pebbles to massive altar sized stones you better be willing to devote a whole table to :D

I hope that helps :)

Someone gave me a 'pair' a long time ago... I had a reading with Cat and now I'm working on learning more.. never worked with lodestones... These were supposedly LM but someone gifted them to me when he moved here from Washington... I had no idea what to do with them.. They are still magnetic but I know if they are LM, they're paired already.. if they aren't I'm not sure if I should keep them or dispose of them or what.... I'll post a pic later so someone can tell me what the deal it. They're beautiful but what I assume is the chick stone is larger than the dude ;)

depends but in general its a lot like a baptism of a child or human. pray over it dip it and name it after the person. dress with oil, personal item and feed it. Look at the lodestone info cat gives out. Also after u baptize it refer to it as that person then on.. thats how i work with mine.

I'm sorry but I have read those two links over and over again and I can't find ANYTHING about BABTIZING a lodestone..... :/ I even pressed controll*find on the page for the word babtize and it didn't find it.

J82- When you say "dip" what do you mean and what do you dip it in? Thank you!

and do I have to dip it? Aren't the lucky mojo lodestones already prayed over?

I understand I have to name it and annoint it and all that for my target, and there will be plenty of praying during so do I still need babtize it?

I am fairly new to hoodoo. The owner of a metaphysical shop I go to told me to burn a van van candle, spell breaker, and mine and my loves zodiac (scorpio) candle. My candles have burnt out, I cut up my parchment, put them inside the candle ran it through a creek and buried my crystals. Saturday, hours after burying my crystals, my love randomly contacted me while he was on vacation with his girlfriend, who used to be his ex before I. It's been 3 days since then with no contact and I'm afraid I made a mistake somewhere.. The shop assistant had me purchase the green lodestone candle?? on Sunday and told me to do the same thing as I did before with my other 3 candles... I am hoping for some help soon seeing as the full moon process has started.

Now with all this said, here are my questions:
1. Do I use the lodestone candle or exchange for the come to me candle or something else? The green lodestone I thought was for fortune/prosperity

2. Do I just have patience and see what else unfolds? I'm just nervous because a medium/psychic told me to wait for him until August, for the scorpio in him to "wake up" and "realize" the choices he made were because he was confused and influenced by his current girlfriend.

3. If I should use the lodestone, what exaclty should I ask for? i.e. Use our names and say I want him to realize what has happened and for us to be together? If I use a different candle, what should I write for that also?

Any help is good help! Thank you :)

This is a forum for the use and discussion of Lucky Mojo products. We cannot comment on spellwork done with other products from other stores.

1. Lucky Mojo makes Lodestone and Come To Me candles. Since you're trying to get an ex back I'd use Come To Me or Return To Me or Reconciliation.

2. Yes, you have to have patience with spellworks. He did contact you, after all: that's movement towards your goal. I would get a reading from http://readersandrootworkers.org to determine your chances of success.

3. You can get a Come To Me spellkit, which has a male and female lodestone in it, and do that ritual to draw the two of you back together again.

Good luck,

To baptize a lodestone or a doll or a root is to name it and to link it to the person on whom you are working.

I suggest you book time with a root doctor who will talk you through the process. It would take too long to type it all out here and really is best taught from one person to another. Since you shop at Madame Pamita's, you can book time with Pamita or Starsinthesky7 -- either one can show you the work.

To dip is to immerse. Some Christians baptize by sprinkling, some by total immersion.

Good luck.

Thank you! :D

However, I actually made an all day trip to visit Madame Pamita because I live two hours away so I wouldn't be able to do that again for a long while.

Is simply naming my lodestone enough with a photo underneath? Or will it not sync to my target if I don't do a full baptisism?

I plan on doing it exactly as the spell in the link post above minus the full baptizing since I don't know how to do that

Thanks!

Things are not complicated..." it's all good", as a very good friend of mine always tells me.

Things are no more complicated than (we) make them. Don't over think!

I was supposed to do this a while back. I had mentioned that someone had given me a pair of lodestones once upon a time. They are supposed to be LM. They still have their magnetism but it looks to me like what is supposed to be the female (I'm brand new to lodestone work) is much bigger than the male. I don't know where they came from for sure and I'm not even sure if they're a male/female or if they match. Can someone tell me if these are LM? If not, does anyone know which is the boy and which is the gal? Are they a pair? I can post more pictures, if necessary. http://i1257.photobucket.com/albums/ii5 ... -00112.jpg

I see you feed it with Magnetic Sand. But do we say a specific prayer?

Starcaster

I just talk to mine. I kind of listen with my imagination; today my lodestones also asked for a drop of whiskey (literally, a drop), and made me promise Money House Blessing tomorrow.

It varies. Usually magnetic sand is enough, and maybe a little gold sand when they're in the mood.

Hi all,

I got a reading from a member of AIRR earlier in the month about how I can improve my chances of obtaining a specific job. They said the spirits gave the green light in the endeavour, and I would require the help of a mojo bag to increase my chances of success. Details of how to form the mojo bag were given, including all the herbs and roots I would require. One item on the list was a small loadstone ( but they also stated that load stone grit would be fine). I purchased loadstone grit, as it was the first of the two that I found.

My question is, how much of the loadstone grit do I put into the bag? One single piece, or a pinch full of loadstone grit? I was instructed to use a pinch of the rest of the herbs, but as the load stone grit is a substitute for the small loadstone I am just a little unsure, and want to make sure I get everything correct and successfully form my mojo bag to bring about job success.

Many thanks for your help, and apologies for the newbie question. It is the first time I am trying to make my own mojo bag.

I would put in one lodestone for this work and add magnetic sand to feed the lodestone, as its considered a living being and needs food. id add a match pair if it was love work. I have a mojo made by LM for me that has a lodestone about the size of abe's face on a penny, if that helps clarify.

Using a single lodestone grit in a mojo in exactly right. Anything bigger tends to make the bag both bulky and heavy, after all Lodestone is a form of Iron ore. J82 is right about including a pinch of magnetic sand to feed it and keep it working strong for you.

Many thanks for the replies folks, it's good to get clarity on the matter. My reader did not mention putting any magnetic sand in the mojo bag. Is it an essential component with loadstone grit?

Also, I read that it is possible to reuse flannel bags to form a new mojo bag for the same intent. I'll be damned if I can find the thread now though! Can you confirm this, and that you simply have to dust the bag of before you reuse it?

Thanks guys!

poster,

1) The Lodestone grit from Lucky Mojo already has a very light sprinkling of Magnetic Sand on it. See the picture:

2) I would not re-use a flannel bag -- it will get dirty and worn, and seems messy to re-use.

This is being merged into the ongoing Lodestone Questions and Answers thread.

i have to agree with Turnsteel above. We have heard many humorous stories from Miss cat, and others, about people mistakenly putting HUGE Lodestones in Mojo Bags...so big they were hard to conceal or carry!

hello everyone,

I had a few questions about the loadstone spell on LM

1) what are the three holy names?

2)I have personal concerns from him, but they are on clothing, does any one have any suggestions on how I should get it on the loadstone, can I simple just put that loadstone on that piece of clothing?

3)once the ritual is done, how often do I feed them, and canI keep them under my bed?

4)Feeding: are they always feed with magnetic sand, condition oil, and alcohol/cologne? or can it just be one or the other? and do I just put drops in each stone?

5)I can use this spell on a current lover to have him love me?

6) dressing a candle, do I put his name on the male & mine on the female? can I dress the candle with 3 types of oil?

7) how do I snuff out a candle with out a snuffer?

8) as far as preparing them, do I just clean them off with whiskey by wiping them or soaking them, if so for how long?

9) does it have to be 1/7 of an inch? or can it be 1 inch per day as long as the candle burns for 7 days? I mean I'm not too good at measuring thats why I'm asking =)..lol

Thank you sooo much for your time and any info will do and be greatly appreciated =D
