You may also want to finish up burning a white candle in the room and smudging with Frankincense, Pine Resin or Sage.

In addition, prior to moving into your new room, the cleansing and smudging are a good idea so not only they start out fresh but you as well!

Hello. My boyfriend had a massive stroke three weeks ago. Right now he's sleeping. One doctor was optimistic about a full recovery, but another wasn't. I don't feel in my heart that that's the case, but that's just me. I'm burning candles right now for him. I there anything else that I could do?

Hello all

I have an uncle who I'm close with that has cancer and this isn't his first time with it. He is extremely drepressed about it. What can I do to help him, what oils and candle would be most effective for healing from cancer and drepession...

I would use Healing, Healing Miracle and Crucible of Courage products. You can have the Lucky Mojo staff set a light for your uncle combining a bit of those three oils, just call the shop to ask.

Along with MaryBee's good suggestions, you may also wish to petition St. Dymphna to aid him with the depression. She's a wonderful comfort to those who are dealing with it. Lucky Mojo carrys a line of products for working with her too.

Also, Rose of Crucifixion products are lovely for working to lift depression.

Another angle you could work if he is very lethargic, is working with Sun products. The Sun has a very energizing and uplifting energy, that is also great for healing. Dissolving some Sun bath crystals into some spring water, straining out the herbs, and then putting that into a spritz bottle which can be sprayed around his body and room might really help start to lift him up and give him hope.

This Hurricane (Sandy) combo Nor'eastern coming on Monday is expected to make landfall in Ocean County NJ (central Jersey). which is where I live. And I live at the shore, on the bay, smack dab where the weather people say its going to land. It is a category 1. Biggest storm ever supoosedly going to hit here.
Today our governor is probably going to declare us a state of emergency.
What can I do to protect my home, my cats and myself (aside from evacuation) from harm?

Okay, I don't know much about hoodoo just yet to help you magickally, but I do know enough about survival skills and disasters to help you with that... Hopefully one of the more skilled members of the forum can help you magickally.

Make sure that you have a way out in case things get hectic. Have some emergency money either on your person or somewhere that you can get to in the house in under a minute, and take only the most important pieces of information with you (ID, SSN, birth certificate). From what I understand, NJ got hit the worst last year. I live in CT, we were hit pretty bad but not as bad as NJ.

If it's not possible to just get out and evacuate, you want a Freak/Bug Out kit with you. They're perfect for all types of situations, whether it be nuclear or natural. In here you should have a radio with independent power (solar power is best), those flashlights that gain power when you shake them, and such of the like. There are links online to what you'd usually find in such a kit.

I can't suggest anything for the cats, unfortunately. =( The most I can think of is having their crates ready just in case you need to hightail out of there, or keeping them in the same room as you.

Please do be careful. If I get anymore ideas or anything, I'll be sure to share.

You could look to Saint Christopher and Comfrey for safe travel in the event that you need to evacuate. You could have a light set at the MISC (recommended). Many of the deaths or accidents associated with any major storm occur after the storm. Folks mess with down powerlines, etc. Marjoram with feverfew can assist you with the "after effects" of a storm with electricity.
If you are advised to evacuate, please do so. I live in the state of Florida, and have for all of my life. Natuarally, we have been hit by "natural disasters", tropical storms, hurricaines, tornadoes, lightening, wind, hail, etc.

I like the advice above about your cats. Not all shelters take pets. Make sure to take them with you, and crate them and find a pet friendly shelter, in the event that you do evacuate.

You can ask Archangel Michael, the angel of protection, and Archangel Ariel, the angel of the Earth and the weather, for help. Dress a white candle with St. Michael, Protection, or Holy oil. Pray Psalm 107, which mentions God calming a storm.

In the Bible, there is a story about Jesus calming a storm while he and the disciples were at sea. Mark 4:35-41 and Luke 8:22-25. Lighting a Jesus the King candle (or a red or white candle dressed with Jesus the King oil) would affirm that He has authority over adverse weather conditions.

On a practical note, be prepared to evacuate and take the cats with you.

One of my cats, Pillow Bob, was a rescue after the 1986 river flood in Guerneville, California -- the owners simply drove away as the river rose and left the cat there. He was found, weeks later, living in the woods, terrified and hungry, and we took him in. It should not have happened. Remember all those dead, lost, and suffering pets after Hurrivcane Katrina? That should not have happened either.

A cat can live in a crate for several days if given water and food, and allowed out on a collar and leash to do its business. Seriously, do not leave the pets behind.

If you mmust evacuate, Safe Travel products, along with herbs like Comfrey Root and Feverfew, are good allies, as mentioned above.

We are ok!! Thank you everyone and Thank you Ms. Melanie for sending my message.

In actuality, we had 3 feet of flooding in my neighborhood bc I am between the bay and the inlet. Power was out for just over 48 hours. Many people in my neighborhood lost their homes and or have major water damage. There is debris and muck everywhere and it is going to take weeks to clean it up. Many, many old oak trees uprooted, powerlines down and telephone poles.
We lived without electric, hot water, heat, and internet and telephones for all of this time. Some of us had cellphones connection and we charged in our cars, some of us didnt. But we are ok. We didnot evacuate.

I live in Toms River, New Jersey, less than 300 feet from Barneget Bay and the inlet. Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, Lavalette, Ortley Beach, Pont Pleasant, all neighboring towns. There is NOTHING left of them.

My Archangel Michael is still burning.

The candles I would consider would be Healing, Blessing, and John the Conqueror. You can order the candles to be burnt on the altars of the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church or have them sent to you to burn yourself.

If you work with saints, in addition to or in place of the Blessing candle I would consider a St. Joseph candle. St. Joseph the Betrothed foster-father of Christ is the patron of fathers and fatherhood.

You may also consider sending a prayer request to the Crystal Silence League for prayers on behalf of your friend.

Thank you Miss Cat for those wonderful psalm verses.

I dissolved FWP crystals in a jar and recited the 91st Psalm into it 3x praying for protecting from the storm for my home and our neighborhood. I then sprinkled the water around the periphery of our home, all the while reciting the 91st Psalm. I also anointed all the windows and doors and car with FWP oil. I also invoked St. Michael and recited his prayer for protection many times.

My father is in ICU and really sick. The wick of my miracle healing candle develops what looks like little bubbles, mid way on the wick. Does this have any particular meaning? I let the candle burn all night in a safe place with nothing flammable near by inside our shower on top of the drain, but I use a snuffer to put it out during the day. Tonight I will burn it on the bathroom counter. I put a lil healing miracle oil back behind his head where the spine and head meet and sprinkled a lil satchet powder on his gown.

I paid for a miracle healing candle to be burned on the alter when I ordered as well as sending a prayer to the crystal silence league.

I wish I knew whether he needed blessing, uncrossing, etc.

Thanks for the replies.

I ordered a Blessing candle to be burned on the alter this morning for my father.

On the 29th of November he suffered a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, he is still holding in there but he has suffered kidney failure and is edematous. Not enough urine is being expelled. Doctors can't tell how much is pneumonia and how much is fluid in his lungs. The TPN (liquid nutrition) is keeping his liver a lil down and doctors would like to see him eventually to start eating. He is a very strong man tho. They keep him sedated and hasn't been very responsive much this past week or so (looks THROUGH you, rather than AT you), tonight he was more aware and responsive.

For how long would she have to do this? I used to be so motivated with schooling and studying, It just was a drive. I have two Masters because of it... not sure if I was jinxed, or if I am just disappointed with not being promoted or even looked at even when I have all these credentials.. its like not enough for my workplace. I need to get motivated to pass a last certification.. but almost angry at this situation, my balloon is busted.. my motivation just not there.. my concentration is also very unfocused because I am just not wanting to do this last certification that asked so much of me.. but I need to get this done.. and I need to be noticed finally by my bosses.. should I just do the same or would you recommend something else or an add on?

Hello Lauri,

Petitions are best when direct and to the point. Name the target with a full name and birthdate. Name the illness exactly that they have. And ask for the healing of what ails them specifically.

I used a 9 in red reversible jumbo candle dipped in black wax. i mixed pacthouli cut leaves, angelica cut root, low john root and grated a pinch or two from the whole root and mixed with cooking oil

i wrote in a spiral top to bottom enemys backwards and next to that i wrote law backwards and in spiral with rusty nail. i dressed the candle placed it on a mirror and lite it then placed sea salt ontop of the mirror around the candle. lite it monday night the 28th of jan. it burned til wed morning the 30th.

i meditated, and said that whoever has done harm to me and boyfriend chris can't anymore and for the law to go away and leave us alone i prayed that no one could harm us anymore, that it was over.

chris was picked up last sat night and is facing serious charges, he also hasnt even spoke to me since the week of feb 6th. did i screw up ?

If you are still worried about legal troubles, you can get a brown candle and burn it on a mirror. You might still be able to do good work with that. Use both Court Case and Law Keep Away, and maybe Fiery Wall of Protection. (To keep the work from getting too complicated, use one product from each line: say, Court Case Oil, Fiery Wall of Protection Powder, and Law Keep Away Incense.) You might even be able to work the same spell with a brown candle and the above-named products.

Use Psalms 7 and 35.

If he's gotten in trouble with the law before, you might also want to consider Cast Off Evil work on him.

I took your advice and had a yes/no reading done by Elvyra.

I am so glad i ordered one. I just did the 10 minute reading and soon realized that i will now need a 30 minute reading. Elvyra brought great insight to a situation that i have been trying to deal with for a while now.

The answer is Yes, I am being targeted and so is my boyfriend chris.

I was given instructions by Elvyra and am starting soon, but i am still trying to figure out how i can cleanse Chris with him being in jail. I know that once he gets out he can take care of his cleansing the right way.

Any suggestions on cleansing him with such limitations?

Hi i am in a situation where i will be doing an uncrossing and a cut and clear candle spell for me and someone thats incarcerated.

I was told that we need to cleanse 3 times a week for 3 weeks.

It was suggested that a doll baby would aid in his cleansing. I have never made a doll baby before, any suggestions or how to's would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I wanted to know if i soaked a sheet of paper in a bowl of cleansing water, then let it dry so i could send it with a letter to the person that's incarcerated, would they be able to place the sheet of paper in their cup with warm water to soak and then dip their fingers in cup to sprinkle water over their body and rub on them also? I need to send today if possible to get some help.

Then i was wanting to know if i wrote on the paper that was soaked in the cleanse would it contaminate the cleansing bath for them once they soaked in their cup?

That sounds like a wonderful way to work, if giving the paper to them is allowed. writing prayers on paper and dissolving them in water is an old, authentic, and traditional practice, as is soaking a paper in some essence and drying it out for future ue in one manner or another. Next, if you cannot give a piece of paper to the prisoner (and some jails do not allow it), the you will have to work from a distance, by proxy.

One way to clean up an incarcerated person at a distance is to craft a proxy-doll for them and bathe it in their name. A wax dolly is a better choice for this than a cloth dolly as it can be moulded or formed with personal concerns embedded in the wax and it will not disintegrate in a bath. You can make the doll of soft wax, such as the wax that comes around cheese. Candle wax can also be used, if you soften it. You can also use a figural candle in the shape of a person, if you load it with personal concerns. I prefer cheese wax.

The bath water can be Chinese Wash in water, or Van Van, Uncrossing, or such -- to which you may also add such things as Court Case or Road Opener.

Another method to bless and cleanse someone who is imprisoned and at a distance is with suffumigation, that is, smoking a photo or a proxy-doll in cleansing incense smoke, such as from Van Van or Uncrossing Incense.

If you have the judge's name, put him in a sugar jar with Court Case Root, licorice root and Angelica root. Shake it every day while reading Psalm 35 and praying for Chris's freedom.

Also, burn a Court Case candle with Crown of Success added to it on the attorney's name.

You can also use a doll purchased from a store, baptize it as (name), and bathe it in Uncrossing or 13-herb bath. If you have any of his unwashed clothing, wrap the doll in it. You can dress it with Court Case oil, as others have suggested.

You might consider petitioning Justo Juez (Just Judge). This is Jesus at His crucifixion, the idea being that He was unjustly punished and will show mercy to others who are having legal difficulties.
