Was I dreaming when I saw a separate compilation of New Thought writings on the Lucky Mojo frontpage?

I am not sure what you are referring to but Missionary Independent Spiritual Church does have some recommended book collections that are advertised on Lucky Mojo's front page and there is a collection of New Thought books, I believe.

Hi Bri,

No, it seems to me that on the page which has the Forum page listed with the "New" tag etc, at the bottom of the page there had been some kind of archived list of New Thought writings. Again, I may have been dreaming. I did find the material you mentioned as well as the books listed on the Healing Book Shop Page.

Many people may not realize because they probably are bookmarked to the products page but there are 1000s of pages linked to LM. I have not looked thorough all of them but try as time permits.

Wow, that is really cool, I had no idea MISC was a New Thought church. I am personally a follower and believer of New Thought and attend a Religious Science church. I really like knowing this now!

There are so many similarities, in my opinion, between the New Thought belief that our thoughts create our experience and the basis of magic being the power of mind/thought. I actually use something similar to New Thought 'spiritual mind treatment' while I'm praying over candles and other hoodoo work. I know it is not traditional hoodoo, but I find myself often ending my prayers with ...."and so it is".... Seems to work for me.

I am completely new to all of this and I want to fast-track my development, I want to know if there are any beginner courses, books, or online programs and tools that I can look into to get started immediate. I like candle spells and crystal spells as well. Thanks.

If you are interested in formally studying hoodoo, then look into Miss cat's immersive Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course, which is detailed here:

This forum is also a great repository of information and ideas so dig in. It requires a lot of reading, as all great educations do, so please don't shortchange yourself by trying to short-cut yourself or by asking questions that have already been answered here.
