Hi Shuchingwu - I'm also Chinese! I write everything in English for my spellwork, including my full name (like yours, 'shunchingwu'). When I work with professional rootworkers, they also write my name in English. So I'm sure that's okay.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi everyone
well after doing the honey jar spell thats under the LM spells section on a friday night one exact week later I got an out of the blue call from my ex who I had done it on. The timing was around the exact time I did his jar the week before, it was a pretty short call but he wanted to know if I was around as he went a long distance from where he lives to an area that I spend alot of time in, and went to a restaurant where he knows I eat. The main purpose of the call was to ask me what meal I usually get which he could have worked out 4 himself, he then went on to ask if I was around the area and wanted to know what I have been doing socially. Can anyone give any insight to this situation connected to the co-incidence of the timing?
Thanks

Pretty straight forward, your honey jar worked.spellyshelly wrote:Hi everyone

I should have made myself clearer, I suppose I just want to confirm really that this is movement right?
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
You did work, and the person you worked on called you to talk. Does this bring you closer to your goal? Is it a step in that direction? If yes then its movement, if not then it is probably a sign.spellyshelly wrote:I should have made myself clearer, I suppose I just want to confirm really that this is movement right?

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I need some advice...I started a honey jar spell today and my candle has been burning VERY clean hardly any drip, just very clean burn, is this a good sign? Also later this evening my daughter walked in to my room and picked up the jar slightly and put it back down which may have caused some very slight spill onto the jar top....she immediately put it back and told me. Does this interfere with the honey jar or is it okay to continue? Also can I pinch the flame out before I go to bed and light a new one on Wednesday? If so do I place the new candle back on top of the candle residue from today's candle? Thank yoU!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
If it burns clear, thats a good sign or it could just be a good candle. Some of the wax can spill on top of the lid. I don't see why that would be bad. I think it is okay that your daughter touched it. If she is a little one, I am sure she does not have any negativity that effects the spell. I f it bothers you that much, then make another one. Personally, i would continue, and make sure you cleanse your candles before you burn them each time. You can continue the same candle that you pinched out. Yes you place the candle back on top of the candle residue. Some peoples honey jar spells have layers of wax on them because they like working with that honey jar so much.

Thank you so much! My candle burn all the way down again very clean the wax reside left on the lid has the shape of a heart. I will burn another on Wednesday. I anointed the candle with oil prior to burning, do you have any suggestions for cleasning? Or is the oil sufficiant? My daughter is young and it was more curiousity so I explained that candles shouldn't be touched because of the flame. Again thank you!

You should always cleanse your candles with ammonia or florida water. No oil is not sufficient.

Or you could use holy water, or tap water that you have prayed over, in a pinch.starsinthesky7 wrote:You should always cleanse your candles with ammonia or florida water. No oil is not sufficient.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
People here said that i should make a honey jar for my exs mom and his best friend( they dont like me) But how do I do that if I dont have anything personal from them?? And what color candle should I use??
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Does anyone know how to do it or heard of it? I know its suppose to sweeten a lover to you just as the honey jar
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
You core out an apple and use it as the jar for the honey then you bury it in a potted plant. If you want to do this sort of work get yourself a copy of ms.cat's book Hoodoo Herb and Root Magic its full of all kinds of spells.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
oh ok so basically you can dress it with pretty much anything and put the petition in the core. Im guessing seal it back up with red thread and then bury it? hmmmmm and oh whats the link for the hoodoo herb and root magic?

You can still do a honey jar for them without any personal items, its traditional to use personal items as there will be a better chance of success, however the most important ingredient in the spell are the oils you use and you faith and energy you put in. I would use white candles for peace.
Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
What kind of oil should I use? Or herbs

Spellyshelly is correct--the most potent ingredient in any spell is your willpower.
I've done honey jar spells before without having access to a target's personal concerns (I'm talking not even their handwriting), and still had success.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I would not use Bewitching unless you want to seduce his mother and best friend. I will also say that lacking anything of them you are working from a very weak place so don't be surprised if you don't have much success. Their names on paper are only worth so much, try your best to get more from them and add it to the jar at the first opportunity.spellyshelly wrote:well i used attraction, compelling, conjure, bend over, bewitching, and come to me. search LM for the honey jar spell and it will tell you exactly what you can use.

Are there any signs that a honey jar displays once it has been done? For example in one of my honey jars one of the pictures completely disintegrated as I poured the honey in, does this mean anything?

Thank you so much for the reply on my honey jar. Sounds perfect, the LM mix is self sufficient.

Well, they're probably becoming more friendly towards her because she's the new girlfriend. Your honey jar only has an effect on the people whose name is in it. Unless you named her and his family (and why would you?), I'll venture a guess and say his family is just being polite.spellyshelly wrote:Ok i just had a crazy thought, I did a honey jar for my ex boyfriends family and they seem to be becoming more and more friendly with his new girlfriend, my honey jar could not be the cause of this could it as some of the family members I do not know that well???

I'm not sure why a photo would disintegrate as soon as honey was poured on it so if I were you, I'd get a divination done. Are there any signs that a honey jar displays once it has been done? Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Can a candle be burned on a honey jar every day or is it best to do only Monday, Wednesday and Friday? I noticed on cat's website it specified these three days but in the forum I noticed someone saying it is good to work every day at least for the first week and just wanted to know your thoughts.

If you see the person daily, I would work daily until you have something established. Then I would switch to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Also if you have a fight with someone, I would work on that specific day.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hello all! I'm almost positive that this topic has been broached in other threads, but did you know that the phrase "honey jar" is used so commonly in these boards that the search engine can't show all the results?
Basically, I'm looking to modify the HJ recipe as Miss Cat wrote about here: http://www.luckymojo.com/honeyjar.html
I'm looking to attract someone I haven't met yet and sweeten him to... well, I suppose because I don't have an intended target, I'd have to work out what I want from a new relationship. At any rate, though, all of the HJ info seems based around the idea that there's an intended target you're trying to draw and keep. (I was thinking of getting a Come To Me kit as well, but again... no intended target.)
If anyone could give me any input on what how I should go about this I'd really appreciate it. Thanks everyone!

Hi Lucy
You can use a Come To Me spell kit to draw an unknown lover. It says so too on the page:
http://www.luckymojo.com/cometome.html
In another post Mary (I think it's her) also mentioned doing a honey jar when she's looking for a boyfriend.
I have a general 'prosperity' jar too, which I started to have 'a sweet life'. I simply wrote a list of things I wanted (career success, stable income, good social life...) and burn candles of appropriate colors when I'm dealing with different situations in my daily life.

Anyway, you put the petition for what type of lover you want, e.g. soulmate, perfect lover, etc. You put in a strand of your hair and the herbs needed. Since it is love, rose buds, cloves, Queen Elizabeth root (for a woman/JC for a man), and catnip(for a woman). What love herbs you feel best about. The best time to start this is the new moon, since you are bringing someone to you.
The Come to Me kit is great too for this.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
That is one way that spells can work, it really depends on your target and how they get information. If your target is a visual person then they might see signs, if they dream true they may have dreams about you, if they are verbal though they may get "signs" from a book, or from hearing your name repeated in casual conversation, if they are intuitive they may "feel" your presence and miss you. There are many ways for the target to be reminded and effected by you. They may have a similar experience with signs that you do or it may be very different. It depends a lot on how they process the information.
good luck,
Bri

I burned a small red bday candle on my honey jar and the wax melted into lots of different heart shapes, it happened on 2 occasions now, however the second time not as much as the first. Am I right to take this as encouragement?

It would seem that you've got yourself a pretty effective honey jar.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hi all, new here great forum and website
I started a honeyjar on Monday and burned two candles on top Monday and Wednesday. Looking at whats left of the melted wax there is a definate pattern of two figures slightly apart, almost hugging, head one is slightly overlapping the other almost like a hug is this a good sign. Haven't heard anything from her though ..lol.

Yes that is a good sign. But sign does not equal movement...yet. It is predictive of the movement you are going to see. You just barely did the honey jar this Monday and Wednesday which was only 24 hours ago. This is NOT TV magic. You should not expect instant gratification like that. This is work and it is going to take time for things to manifest. BUT your work is starting out on a good foot given the wax divination. Keep working with your honey jar

I just got my love me honey jar kit..I cannot get a hair of his, not sure when I'll see him & he lives somewhat far & I do not drive. I want to have equal concerns, but not sure what will suffice. I have a card that he gave me years ago that he signed "love you" & his signature...he had also licked the envelope I beleive..would either a sample of his signature or sample of his saliva work?..and if so, do I include the same of me?

Hi, Gingerly!
To answer your question, in the absence of hair and other "more personal" personal concerns, you'd do best to use what you have. Photos, signature, the envelope that he licked is extremely useful, pretty much anything you've got. I'd wrap all of those things around a single strand of my own hair were I you. As always, with these sorts of spells, really concentrate on your target and make sure you've got a good "hold" on him, as it were.
Good Luck!

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
I made a homemade love honey jar for my ex, used it, and it worked...however, long story short, I need to do another one. I never disposed of the original one and I'm not sure when I will be able to have access to one of his personal items such as his hair again, so I have been using fresh candles and burning them on this honey jar. Do you think it will work again for me or would I be better off making a new one? Also, is there anything else I can add to this one to make it more powerful? Weve spoken the past few days and I'm getting mixed signals from him so I think it might be starting to work but mixed signals are better than nothing at all. Thanks in advance this forum has been really helpful!

I have a question about the hair too. It has been a while since I spoken let alone seen this person long enough to get a hair, but I do have an old shower puff of his. Could I cut a piece off of his and a piece off of mine and put them in the honey jar to to take the place of the hairs? I'm going to do a reconciliation kit .

Oh Mary! How I love how you explain things. I know what you mean. My problem is that I have to cleanse away the static that we have before I even attempt to contact him. It's a little scary when you had such a bad break up and then absolutely no communication since. You know it's hard to find a comfortable nitch to get into so you can achieve that, but I'm figuring out ways.Literarylioness wrote:
You don't give much info, so I don't know what you mean by "movements."
I would like to address something that I see time and time again with honey jars and love work in general, lack of work in the real world! I have been prone to this myself and let me tell you, it gets you NO WHERE. Burn the honey jar, but if you want to speak to him/her than do so; listen to your instincts.
Put yourself in their presence, call them (do not stalk) them and see how your work is progressing. Is he/she "sweet" towards you? Is he/she open to a relationship with you? There could be TONS of movement you do not see.
In my experience, women want men to chase them and call them. They will burn honey jars to Kingdom Come, but not pick-up a telephone to see what is going on. I have a client who is just now seeing success with the guy she wanted after a year, because she kept up with her communication with him. She messed up at the beginning when she met him, but she burned her honey jar, apologized and kept herself in his life. She is now seeing progress due to her persistence.
My work was doing wonders on my current boyfriend and I did not even know it, because I was waiting for an e-mail. I picked myself up and went to him and things went swimmingly. He was a bit scared of e-mailing me, because he was not sure about my feelings towards him. My gumption showed him my interest and he got his green light. We are very happy now.
Magic is an aid, but not the total answer.
Mary

That is so awesome to hear that that happened to you! I'm going to buy a honey jar myself for reconciliation and it's so great to hear people's success stories! I hope i get the same amount of success. I say keep it as the sign that it worked! You know I wouldn't worry too much on is it a couincidence (sp) and such because since your talking you can work on him more on a personal level.spellyshelly wrote:Hi everyone

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
Hey, this is just my own experience. I have worked a honey jar on someone in the past and after a while thought it wasn't worth it, but it away in a closet. Then, pulled it out and started it months later - same jar with the same stuff inside - new candles, etc. And it worked like a charm. Obviously if you tossed the old one, you'd need to start a new one; but I have personally had success with restarting an old one..for the SAME guy.
Good luck.

Re: How to Use Honey, Sugar, and Sweet Jars Questions and Answers
From one experience I had with a honey jar for a lover, I worked the jar - and while there remained an attraction, things just didn't work out (which was very much for the best). I had put the jar away when I was cleaning one day since I wasn't working it anymore, and completely forgot about it.
Even though this guy and I had both agreed that seeing each other was no longer appropriate or desireable, every few weeks he would call me up saying that he simply couldn't get me out of his mind, had to see me, etc. I couldn't understand why he was so hung up on me in such a weird way - guys don't ever really have that reaction to me, LOL.
Then I was looking for something one day and found the months old honey jar I had made for him. I couldn't believe that I had forgotten to release it and dispose of it! Oops! I did so right away. I ran into that guy a few days later and he apologized for being so weird the past few weeks and said that he wouldn't bother me like that again. And he never did!
So if you no longer want the connection that the honey jar was made for - undo it!
My current husband and I burn a candle together on the honey jar I made for us at the beginning of our relationship each anniversary. We always keep it where it won't get lost, even though it's not being worked regularly. Sometimes if we're hitting a rough patch, we'll work it for a few days/weeks until the pressure is off. I've never been in a happier relationship! Were we to part ways, I would make sure to undo the jar (if I was sure I wanted to break the connection).
Those are just some of my experiences with the honey jar.

The Adam and Eve root is in all likelihood fake. It is very very rare and the real stuff is not sold anyhere.lydia wrote:I am planing to do a reconciliation honey jar and was wondering if I will be using the proper ingredients or is there something else that should be added for this type of spell? this is what I plan to use. please advise

Thanks Tabbylove17
I appreciate your opinion, I would strongly recommend the honey jar! Remember to focus all of your energy whilst doing it and think positive this is the most important ingredient for success!

Spellyshelly,
Yeah I'm definately going to do one. I was thinking about using a piece of his shower puff instead of hair. It still has his essence on it, so I hope it's just as good.

That is such a cute story! My friend had the same problem with an ex. A couple of days ago he called her out of the blue and was acting weird and she realized that she didn't release him when she realized that she was over him. So hopefully she disposes of it.
I love reading stories like this because it really makes me excited to buy one myself.
