I'm doing some "go away" work on somebody, and I'm going to be making a doll baby. Spanish moss is for sale at LM. I'm leery of using other mosses or lichens for fear of mixing influences and derailing my work. I looked through my copy of HHRM, and nothing jumped out at me as a suitable substitution. I have poppy seeds, hot peppers and ants to go in it, as well as coffin nails and graveyard dirt if I must, and hotfoot oil to drip on it besides; but something to "bind" those ingredients in the dolly and make a nice stuffing seems indicated. All suggestions are welcomed, and thanks in advance.

If you are making a doll baby then you are on the right track with the Spanish Moss.
