Greetings from the Central Flatlands
Greetings Brothers & Sisters
I am Brother Raccoon from SE Texas. How I got here is a slow process.... Living in Louisiana and reading Orion Foxwood's book 'The Candle and The Crossroads', realizing we were from the same town, and having ties that went back with him some 20 years, through a shop he ran in our hometown is how it really began.
Then along with hearing Momma Starr online on an interview with Rev. Lori Bruno, the discovering Lucky Mojo and Miss cat's radio show, has lead me hear. I feel like I have finally found "home". In Louisiana, I was intensely interested in the African Diaspora religion, as discovered by a local public television station, and small church. That was really the beginning. At least of active interest and paying closer attention, Orion and Momma Star got me practicing, and now I am pursuing studies through Lucky Mojo. I have Witchcraft and Shamanic training going back some 20 years.
Thank You all for being here, allowing me to be here, and taking time to read this.

Hi Brother Raccoon,
it's wonderful to have you amongst us! If you aren't already in Miss Cat's correspondence course, no doubt you 'll be there soon. Many Blessings to you and we look forward to your input and questions over the coming months and years.

Re: Greetings from the Central Flatlands
hello aura
Yes, I am getting everything into proper place for Miss Cat's correspondence course now, and should be there by Summer. I am eagerly looking forward to it. I already have her book and am a regular fan of the radio show, so the natural progression is in place!
I am sure I will have many questions and hopefully some good input over the coming times! Thank you for your welcome. It is warmly received, with Blessing and Salutations returned your way!

Re: Greetings from the Central Flatlands
Thanks and Blessings Mama Micki!
I'm sure I'll have questions sooner or later. Actually I have one now in the 'Disposal' section, but it may have been answered previously, but not exactly as specifically as I am wondering.
But I shall surely stay in touch.
Thank You for the Warm Welcome

Thank You Joesph! It's strictly the facts I suppose. if anyone is curious as to how I wound up here. It's been an interesting journey but an even more interesting time since the arrival!Joseph Magnuson wrote:Very nice to have you here in the forums. Thank you for that good introduction of yourself.
Hopefully over time, sooner than later, I can bring some good topics to the forum.

Brother Raccoon,
I admire anyone who has the forethought to post a comprehensive introduction, more than just the obligatory sentence or two. Welcome.

Brother Joesph (if I may refer to you as such...)
I think the introductions of depth is the only way to go. How else shall you find out about me, and my place in how I arrived here?
It is only fitting I think, and a sign of respect to not only my fellow 'board-folk', but also to the originators of the board itself. after all, it is about communication!
Thus, this provides you, my fellow board member and peer, with a better understanding of not only where I come from, but where I wish to go, inside the structure of the practice.
Blessings and Much Respect
