Greetings all! I am currently burning a red 7 day glass encased candle for love.... I dressed it with fire of love oil. I lit it on Sunday for about 8 hours and put it out and re lit it Sunday night and its been going ever since. Here's my observation: the candle flame has been strong but dancing a lot an it's burning quite fast, it's supposed to last 7 days but at this rate it may be finished by Friday and also the glass so far I clean, no dark or grey soot at the top. I take this as a good thing, any input or advice would be appreciated. Plus added to that I woke up with a headache this morning, does anyone know if this could be related to the candle being burned?

I feel that it is not related to the candle burning. Headaches do happen, and there could be any number of physical reasons you woke up with a headache. No need to worry yourself. It does sound like the candle is burning quite nicely though. Best of luck.

Hi affie,

In addition to Papa Newt's comments, please keep in mind that most glass-encased candles burn about 120 hours which is a 5 day rather than 7 day burn. A long burn is about 7 days (and yes, some do go on that long!) while a short one is in the 3-4 day range (and yes, they can burn that fast too!).

HI, i was wondering if anyone can tell me if a wick from an encased candle bending down and the flame going up and down is a good sign?

i lit a st martha candle for my hubby to open his eyes and see a family member was doing destructive magic to us. the candle lit well, the flame was high and dipping up and down all yesterday and when i re-lit it today the wick was still bent over and the flame was big again dipping up an down.

ive read miss cat's fourm on candle divination but it never mentioned anything about the wick bending. i "think" its a good sign but im no miss cat by far loland needed some input on it.

Hey all....... Today is day number 4 my candle has been burning, it's below the half mark, and at the rate it burning, I think it's going to be finished by Friday or even tomorrow.

So I just have one question about my observation about my candle:

So far the burn has been good, nice sturdy flame that has been dancing nonstop, not violently but just dancing. Added to that I now seen grey soot marks at the top of the glass.

Can anyone tell me if that is a good thing?

I just wanna share something that happened a few days ago.

I've lighted 3 candles together, one for me and one for each of my boyfriends [Yes, i have 2.]. First, I lighted my candle in the middle of the other two, then the one at left, for one of the boys. When I was going to light the candle in the right for the other boyfriend, the candle in the left "snuffled itself". Bad.

Then, the flame of the candle in the middle, my candle, lighted the left one. I cant really explain how it happened, but look so cute to me.

Hi affie,

the great soot marks are often referred to as ''spirit marks'' and often have shape as well as colour. The divination will depend on the extent of the marking, the shade of the marking and the shape it has. If you're truly stumped, take a picture of the glass and book a candle divination with one of the AIRR members who offers the service - it will be an enlightening experience which will also teach you how to read certain signs - a 2 for 1 if you will

Hi everyone,....I"m very new but have been reading and doing my research on the LMJ site. I started a honey jar on my husband and have also some come to me money work....I have noticed that every time I light my 7" candles after I write on them ..oil them up and roll them in herbs...no matter what color the candle....there is ALWAYS a steady smokless flame....no flicker no movement ..just steady white flames...ALWAYS steady....can someone tell me what that means...Thanks

So I hotfooted a man figure candle in an effort of keeping my abusive ex husband away from me and my daughter. The candle burned strong and fast and there was a good deal of hissing and crackling. But what was really strange is that when I went to dispose of the wax I noticed there was a red stone underneath it in the bottom of the bowl in the hotfoot powder. I kept the stone and I believe it is either carnelian agate or red jasper. I was just wondering if anyone has an interpretation of this? Should I keep the stone or dispose of it as well? I will try to upload some photos of the stone and wax...

Hello, Water mama --

We do not put either carnelian or jasper stone in our Hot Foot spiritual supplies (oil, powder, etc.), nor in our cast male figure candles, so i have no idea how this item came to be in your wax puddle. Sometimes the world is a strange place.

Because you want to Hot Foot the man, you should not keep the stone. Leave it at a crossroads and pray Psalms 1, adding that as the vehicles drive through that crossroads, let him be driven far, far away.

Hello,

I made a vigil candle for myself today for clarity so I can make better decisions about my life. About 1/8 of my candle was already burning when half of the rim (like 1/2 inch) of the vigil candle glass broke and fell off. It was burning high, flickering and no soot whatsoever in the glass. I am freaking out, this candle was for me and it had this reaction. This is the first time I made a vigil candle for myself (and now I am scared of the implications it has for my petition for clarity). I have vigil candles for love and also for break up but never broke before like this one

I take fresh herb baths more than 2x/week to cleanse myself after I work on the vinegar bottle that I have.
Any thoughts what this could be?

I am working a vinegar jar to break up and sour a couple that has wronged me. Tonight as I was burning a black candle on it I noticed that the candle cracked on one side letting wax flow out and that there also appeared to be a second flame close to the crack. The candle was dressed in break up oil with their names on it written backwards and a zigzagged line drawn between them to break them apart. I'm not sure what to make of the candle doing this. Help would be appreciated.

Hi, im burning a pink 7 day glass vigil with follow me boy and love me and a little bit of catnip herb and the flame never stops bouncing? Ive read that means the target is being affected but the bouncing is constant. Its been burning for 2 days and not once have i seen the flame just calm. Is this good or bad?? Thank u!

Recently, I have been harboring much pain and resentment over a past romantic entanglement where the person ended up hurting me badly. While trying to figure out a good time and place to do the Black Walnut Bath, I have been doing other work to help me get over it - as well as brainstorming negative work I could send against this person. (Admittedly, I am guilty here of being indecisive and scattered in my intentions - mea culpa!)

About 30 minutes ago, I took a black stick candle, flipped it (as you would a usual reversing candle), carved the person's name into it (along with his birthdate/sign), dressed it with Reversing oil, and prayed that his remaining influence in my life would be "reflected, reversed, and removed" and the pain he caused would be sent back to him "to the extent that is justified in God's eyes."

Well, as the candle began to burn, it started to drip down one side. At first, I simply wanted to stop it from doing that, so I tried (and failed). However, when I looked back, I noticed something interesting: The drippage is pointing in that other person's geographic direction!

I did some pendulum divination, which suggested to me that: (1) the stuff is indeed being sent back to him, (2) he will feel it, (3) he will (unfortunately) not know it has to do with me, (4) it will also have the effects on me that I intended for myself. Good stuff!

The glass a little white haze on it suggesting a possible delay. The rest of the glass is clean and clear. . Two hearts are very close to each other at the bottom of the glass. So how long does the spell takes to work.. I had prayer candle on msc altar.

I already did 2 readings to make sure and double check that doing love work on an ex lover was a good idea and I was told it's not too late to get my ex back I can and they said it should be fine. So I have to do a reconciliation and a honey jar love spell at the same time both of which I got from lucky mojo. So tell me more about the honey jar as I am confused on the directions.

Am I suppose to take a spoonful of honey and eat it each and every time before I burn the candle on top? Or is the spoonful with the little sweet this person is sweet message that your supposed to say before you eat it only for when you set up the honey jar?

What about the picture I have of him? Do I add all the spices that came on top of the petition paper I made with our names and fold the paper and picture at the same time?

Also when I go to do the honey jar again do I need to redo my petition paper and add another picture thus folding and adding it into the jar? Or do I not need to do a 2nd petition paper with his picture?

Lastly is when I light up the candle each time I light up and burn the candle is this the tine when I say my wish and requests on this person aloud? Just making sure so I don't mess this up thanks.

The taste of the honey accompanies the "as this is sweet..." statement when you assemble the honey jar. You need not taste of it each time you work the jar, though honey (or sugar, from a sugar jar) could be used to sweeten the target of the spell's food and drink.

I tend to use the picture as the petition paper, writing the petition on the back. If you are using a picture and a separate paper, fold them, together, around the herbs that are going into the jar, along with any other, appropriate, personal concerns.

You will only add things to the jar if it needs adjustment, or fine-tuning. Different herbs can be added, if the tone of the work needs to change. A new picture can be added, if you intend to add another person to the jar. If you happen to acquire new personal concerns, they can be added (though not all concerns are good for a honey jar). I may be misunderstanding this question... In short: if the jar is intended for one target, you don't need to add any other pictures, or petitions, once the jar is assembled.

Yes. When you light a candle on the jar, speak your petition, or prayer, and spend a bit concentrating on the work.

it sounds like your work is hitting its mark. You'll ultimately know how things go when the burn is completed and you can divine from the candle glass. If you want to be certain, take some pictures as the candle burns as well as of the glass following the work and have them read by an AIRR member that offers candle divination services.

Hi All,

I was doing a separation candle (vigil candle) at first but it was burning super slow and flame was so small. I got worried on the 3rd day. An idea just popped into my head to add candles. I had one 9" black candle in the middle and four 4" black candles on the E,W,N, and S of the 9" candle. On the side was my vigil black candle. When I added the other 5 candles, the vigil candle flame started getting bigger and flames started flickering. the flames on all the 5 candles were steady and high, with the middle candle occasionally flickering really fast.I let this burn out.
After adding those 5 candles, my vigil candle's flame stayed the same as it was when I added the 5 candles.
1. It seemed that the additional 5 candles helped "revive" my vigil candle. I am unsure if this as a bad sign since my vigil candle needed help.
2. Should do another addition of the 5 candles to speed things up or should I let it be since the flame is stronger now?

Hi everyone!
I have a question for anyone that could help me. I while ago I ordered intranquil spirit candle from LM. I did not use it at a time. I decided to use it and the flame was bright and it burn quick for the first 2 days. The third day there was wax in a shape of an eye which by the 5th day melted. Wax was consumed but the burnt herbs in the bottom are in the shape of a heart. Could anyone explain the meaning of it? I want my ex back but just learned he is seeing someone. Thank you and im sorry if this is not the right place for my post.

The Intraquil Spirit is a heavy way of bringing someone back. It is something that should be done with the understanding that if the person does come back, they may come back as a different person. Since the Intranquil Spirit can cause a lot of pain and suffering.

The heart at the bottom, to me, would mean that the target is probably being protected by the power of love. I would suggest getting a reading with a Professional Practitioner, to really get an idea of what is going on with this situation.

1. That the flame was low does mean that your work needed help. You reacted beautifully by adding what are known as ''helper lights'' all the way around. These give things an extra push - in this case the push it needed to perk up and stay high.
2. If the candle is burning well, let it do it's thing. If things slow up again, then you can add more helpers. Sounds like your initial set of extra lights did what it was supposed to however.

That you got a road opener candle that had this defect to begin with is meaningful. It may indicate that there's going to be a fair bit of work required on your part to attain the desired goal that you are working toward. Your candle is burnable, but it will require tending many times a day for the duration of the burn to keep bringing the wick back toward the center. This could indicate that the goal you have is one that requires A LOT of time and dedication on your part to bring to fruition. Should you not tend the candle, the wick will burn against the glass and thermal expansion will cause the glass to break, probably blackening the glass first. Depending on the burn pattern and the break pattern, this too can show a lot on how the road will open up or not ahead of you. Now your decision was to stop the burn and consider the candle useless. This possibly means that the amount of work required to attain your goal is discouraging and that at the current time your resolve may not be sufficient to see things through. Thus as you can see from the possible reading above, I doubt very much the money is wasted since there can be a detailed and specific divination for even that.

The signs don't mean nothing to me. It woud be nice to get a refund. There is just no way you can use it anymore. No matter how much you try, the wick is on the side all the way through now , and you cant trim it all pull it or anything. the wick is leaning against the glass, how much air can that wick get to keep burning. You can't just make some psychic reading or spiritual signs out of a defected item, and say there is a reason you got that one????

justme9- With the many years I have worked Vigil Candles I have come to learn that sometimes even the best vigil candles -- even the excellent ones that Lucky Mojo use -- can have a candle that is defective. If anyone has made candles could tell you, it happens. From my experience, I will say that spiritual signs can still be seen with a defective candle. It is not the matter of looking at the "mechanical falure" but what signs you see that were not caused by it. As Aura has recommended, contact Lucky Mojo and explain to them about your candle. Ok so I went to this reader and had a reading done on me and my ex to see what the deal was with this and see if I could get my long lost ex back and I was told yes. But I wanted to be sure so I did a 2nd reading with a different reader and was told basically the same thing that I could get my ex back and this time the 2nd reader recommended this site and said if I was interested she could give me spell work and I could buy some kits and things here and she could explain what to do and I said it was fine. I bought 2 candle glass vigils as she instructed.

However, the return to me candle vigil is burning much faster then the come to me one yet I lit them both up at the same exact time. She told me they would both last about 7 days but the return to me looks like it might last a few days short of 7 from how quickly it burns. Why is that? Is this a problem? Because you know how when a candle is almost done how the fire is very low on energy? Well the come to me glass candle vigil has a very very low flame almost as if the candle could burn out and shut off the flame at any minute however it is still filled to the top and I have not had to relight it or anything because last night I checked it and the flame was low and today when I checked this morning the flame was still low but the return to me candle had a higher flame.

Yea so I am just checking how come one of the candles has a bigger flame then the other and how come it is burning faster then the other? I already got the oils and powers and such and dressed both candles and followed the exact directions my reader told me to do. But I still did not get it. Is this normal for one candle to burn much faster then the other and for the other candle of the 2 to have a lower flame? What would cause this and also how can I look out for signs that the candles are working? Thank you for your time.

It is quite common for two candles to burn differently, even when they are two candles of the same kind from the same manufacturer. This is especially true of the glass-encased vigil lights, which are made of a softer wax than free-standing candles, and for which manufacturing conditions are more variable.

The tiny flame on the Come to Me candle sounds like it's "drowning." Take a long, pointy object like a screwdriver or chopstick and poke some holes into the top of the candle. This will give the extra wax someplace to go, exposing a little more wick so the candle will burn brighter and a little quicker.

You could also take a birthday candle or tea light and remove the wick from that. You can poke a hole right next to the wick in your vigil candle and stick a piece of your extra candle wick in there; this will use up the surplus wax and your candle will burn brighter. Don't try to put the whole birthday candle wick in there, though -- an inch or half an inch is quite enough.

Many workers "manage" candles in this and other ways, but not everybody trusts the results of divination on candles that have been "helped" like this. Keep an eye on the real-life results and keep in touch with your root worker.

What kinds of signs should I be looking for? The problem is this. Before I had my reading done with this lady I am with now, I had been working on a spell that my friends mom had given me. My friend told me her mom is Pagan and that she could help me get my ex back. When I told her my situation her mom gave me a love spell that was simple. You take a red candle and light it for half hour. After half hour you put out your candle by using your pointer and thumb finger and putting them together to put out the flame on the wick however you must run them under cold water so you don't burn your fingers. Before putting out your candles you must say your wish or wishes in my case was to get my ex back. I kept seeing all the signs. I did the 3,3,3 rule where you see signs in 3 days see movement in 3 weeks and results within 3 months. However I kept seeing signs and everything was falling in place until my spell backfired.

It stopped working but to my surprise even though my ex cut contact with me yet again I keep seeing the sings everywhere I go. My friend said to keep doing it. But then I realized it had been over 3 months and my ex had still not returned. That is how I got to do a reading and when my first reader gave me a reading I went to a 2nd reader which is the lady I am working with now and she explained to me that what is going on is that I am seeing signs that I think are signs when they are not signs at all. She explained to me that even though the spell I was doing from my friends mom had shown me signs for a small period of time and even though my ex came back to me for a week the spell has backfired causing me to think I am seeing signs when the signs I am seeing are nothing. So she suggested that I stop looking for signs because the moment I stop looking the moment they stop showing up so I listened to her advice and ordered the honey jar and the 2 glass candles I mentioned from here on Lucky Mojo. But before the spells had arrived in the mail I kept seeing signs even though i was not trying to.

The other day in my English class our professor split us into groups and gave us reading to do and said each group will read a certain amount of paragraphs and summarize them. She said the paragraphs are numbered. The group I was with were given paragraph #'s 18-23. I am 23 and he is 18. The other day on our way home from Spring break we checked the GPS and found we had another 6 hours to drive back home before we were back in the state. I saw a big road sign on the highway that read- Carlisle- exit 18. His last name is Carlisle and he is 18. Not a lot of people have Carlisle as a last name.

So I found this weird and considering that my kits had not arrived until the day I got home from spring break then I was shocked to see such obvious signs when I have not been doing work for a few weeks since my worker suggested to stop. I had some money problems which explains why I waited so long to get the kits and also I was taking a break to relax and clear my mind before I started getting the work done again. Anyways I have talked enough here lol. I am just wondering what kinds of signs I should be looking out for? I mean the worker told me to stop looking for signs so how am I supposed to know if my candles or honey jar are working if I am not looking for signs? Why also would I see signs like the Carlisle- Exit 18 if I had not been doing spell work for almost 3 weeks? Is it normal to see signs even when you stop doing spell work for so much time? What does that mean? My worker takes longer to respond to my emails which is why I am asking you guys here. Thank you for your response.

I am currently working on my honey jar to return my girlfriend and also burning a return to me candle that I purchased from here. Everything has been going great till today which is my 7th day burning a pink candle on the honey jar. The candle flames on the first 6 days were normal but this morning, once the candle burnt down onto the old wax on the jar, the flames grew tall and became two flames for a few minutes before dying..Is this a good sign? I also have a solitary wax that's in shape of a heart...I am taking this as a good sign that the spell is working as well

. I wish I could post pictures here to show you.
Please can someone advise me what the twin flames signify?

I am burning a money candle. The flame is extremely small and I know what that means but it is just burning in the middle. It's starting to make a hole in the middle of the candle leaving wax on the outside of the glass. I couldn't find what in the world this meant but I'm not sure if i should just put it out and start a new one. If you looked from a distance you really can't tell that the candle is burning down unless you look in the middle of it and of course the light shining from the middle. Do anyone happen to know what this means?

Hi Luckystr25,

there are a couple of ways you can work your existing candle to bring about a more favourable outcome to the work. You can quite literally ''work'' the candle, scooping out the excess wax preventing a good burn using a spoon - you would then slowly feed that wax back in, a bit at a time, as the flame gains strength and the burn improves. You can also add helper lights around the main light to help give the burn more strength.

Are you working with an AIRR rootworker?

Obviously, I've not read on your situation, so I can't really say, with any certainty, what you are encountering. The "3,3,3" structure is a guideline, not gospel. If you're doing work, to achieve a desired result, you need to be aware of the possible signs, but it can be easy to see omens in everything, if you wish to.

Once work is started, it can roll on, without you keeping at it. The signs may be an indication that it is working, even though you haven't seen tactile results.

The long-and-the-short of it is that I can only conjecture, based on the data you've provided. You need to communicate with your worker, and get a follow up reading, to see where things stand. Set a time limit, on the work. If you hit that, without appreciable results, drop it, and Cut and Clear, if needed.

Hi guys, I'm a long time listener but new to the forum. It's good to be here.

I burned a candle for my daughter and son in law to see if their relationship had a chance. I used a double wicked twisted candle and put it in a thick glass candle holder.

It burned brightly and very fiercely with lots of thick black smoke so I read from that that although the attraction was strong they are toxic as a couple. I don't know if I'm right though. After that the glass holder which was really thick, completely broke in half....broken relationship for good??? My daughter couldn't believe what was happening to this candle and I said to leave it as it was in a safe space. About 5 minutes later, my daughter got up to have a look at it and as soon as she was close to it, the holder loudly cracked again which really made her jump but it didn't break again. After it had completely burned down, the wicks were in the shape of a cross. It was Good Friday.

If anyone has any insight into this I'd be so very grateful

well guys not sure if this is the right section to post in but here goes my story i will keep it brief and to the point not sure if it will make sense to alot of people but i will try my best to explain from beginning to why im here on the forum

7 yrs ago i met a beautiful girl i fell in love with. throughout the 7 yrs we've had our up's and down's well after a few yrs i couldnt handle the situation for lots of reasons so i turned to burning glass cased candle from a local herb shop suggested by a man in mexico by the name of don pedrito many people in the south texas area might know him but he is more of a healer then anything else

now i never dressed any candles with oils etc the only thing i ever did was write her name on a piece of paper and put it under the candle and let it burn

now i know these candles werent from luckymojo but i still hope someone can shed some light on some events im about to explain

now everytime i ever burned a candle after about a week or less at times she would come back to me using 2 different candles a yellow candle in glass with a black spider which represented domination not really to control her but to be able to talk to me so we could fix things before it got worse well thats why i did it and a glasss candle with the words ven a mi meaning"come to me"
shes real stubborn at times and when things get heated or she encounters a problem she cant handle she'll ignore it

now my intentions were never to control her but to finally calm things down sorta to re kindle our love i know thats what she wants because she tells me over and over but its hard due to her family getting in the way her brother telling her to not to take my crap as well as her dad plus the classic friends telling her she can do better and what makes it worse we have kids together and just knowing that our kids are gonna suffer because we can handle certain things

now to where im at right now i currently have a single ven a mi candle burning as im typing this it has a picture of a hummingbird and the wax is red and green

i put a piece of parch paper (think thats what its called) and put all my wishes and desires on it along with her name and before burning it i started to pray and told the candle to send all my love to her so she can see whats inside my hert

its about 80% down but before all that when i lit the candle i didnt get any smoke the wick pop and sizzled i guess you would say
the first few days the candle was burning clean med-high flame i would see it dance alot or flicker would be a better way of putting it but then real calm peaceful even

but about a few days ago when the candle was around 50% right before it went from red to green (keep in mind the candle is red on top and half way down it green)

heavy amounts of wax residue was left on the sides of it thing is a few days thats when i started thinking a bit diff like saying to myself maybe its time to let her go for example

and last night today is 4/1/2012 the flame got small and after saying a well thought prayer into it not really a prayer more like talking to it as if the candle will tell her its gone back to normal med-to high flame

what i wanna know is what is the wax residue on the sides left behind mean? due to me thinking diff? i never encountered this before

the glass isnt black by any means nor have i had any issue with it

sorry for the long post but i wanted to see any one could shed some light

I have burned two black votives for breakup on a tuesday (day of war) during waning moon with Banishing oil. All the previous times my votives burned fairly clean to bottom. This time they burned to bottom but left a little 1/8" of wax around bottom with just the metal that the wick was in. Like a donut with metal cap inside. No black soot nothing. Is this a good sign or a bad sign?

On all my candles, from restoring love with my ex to breaking up this couple, I never get black resistance. The candle flames dance mostly.Rarely do i see any smoke and never broken glass. Sometimes the back of the candles shows wax signs, mostly to the back but nothing to the front or sides.

Am i dressing them wrong? I need insight on this.

Votive candles rarely leave soot or smoke signs. They are too small.

All of these issues are addressed in my book "The Art of Hoodoo Candle Magic."

Any time a candle will not burn through to the end -- it won't stay lit, goes out prematurely, or leaves unburned wax (any kind of candle, any time, any size, any colour) it means unfinished business -- something has yet to be resolved.

Any time you have smoke or wax signs on the back of a glass (either a votive glass or a vigil glass) it means that dark deeds are going on behind your back. (Marks in front mean open opposition, those in back are hidden opposition).

Flaring or dancing light can only be divined if you know which person that candle represents Many choices here, explained at length.

Sine i have no idea how you are dressing your candles, i don't know if you are dressing them "wrong" -- if by that you mean putting on too much oil or too many herbs and causing them to burn in unwanted ways.

Burning candles and reading candles are arts, like sewing or cooking. To learn them well, you may need to stop scanning the internet, and instead settle down with a book or a teacher, or both.

thanks for all your answers to my questions. For Unsolved Business (doing breakup on someone else) as you quoted what do you suggest I do? A cleansing on myself? Also, if dark deeds are going on behind my back what do I need to do to address that? And what does that mean? I am awaiting the LM candles "Fiery wall", "Peaceful home" & "Breakup" candles will these help? I do agree something is blocking this and I can't figure out what it is.

You mention a book to read and not to search the internet. Which I agree ! Which book do you recommend again "The Art of Hoodoo Candle Magic "?

I'm burning a Cancer candle with Strong Love, Road Opener, Crown of Success etc oils to try and facilitate a reconciliation between me and my Cancer ex. It's the third day of burning, flame looks good, no sooty deposits or black smoke BUT on the back side of the candle are ridges of unmelted wax that I think may not ultimately melt. They almost look like sedimentary rock before it is compressed, with millimeters of space between them. I have moved the candle from one room to another to get it out of a draft it was in initially. Is that what could have caused the ridges? What do they mean?

I'm not much of a physicist, so I don't know what causes those ridges; I think the glass may have been a little too cool when the candle was poured. But even though there's a physical cause, that doesn't mean it isn't a sign you should take seriously.

Bands across or around the glass mean obstacles to break through.

Thanks! Interestingly, I didn't think they would melt at all because the flame was much farther down than where they were, but they have. Now there's only a slight film remaining. I used Road Opener and Unblocking oils. It sounds like they are working. Thank you!

Hi, I am currently doing a breakup moving candle spell to breakup my ex and his current girlfriend. The flames are really high and the candles are burning at a decent rate, but the female candle's wick broke off and caught fire, so there were two flames on that candle. I've read up on what that means for one free standing candle, but what about this situation? Only hers did that and I needed to snuff out the candle anyways because I needed it to last at least one more day to finish up my spell. So, why did the woman's flame split into two? Especially since I have two candles, male and female burning? Thanks.

Greetings!!

First, I want to say that I am thoroughly enjoying this forum. I haven't posted much. But, I spend hours on end reading through all the different threads, and absorbing all this amazing knowledge. Thank you Miss Cat for providing us this opportunity to come together, and share our questions and experiences with your lovely products.

Recently, I was examining the remains from a purple candle dressed, fixed, and burned next to my tarot cards to "feed" them in preparation for a reading. The candle burned down rather smoothly without any particular "activity" that caught my attention. However, when I went to interpret the remains for signs or images, I noticed that the wax seemed to have formed into an image of a person praying with what looks like a swan ascending heavenward from their praying hands. It was such a pretty image, that I took several pictures of it.

What would you all make of this in regards to the purpose and intent of the candle.

Greetings all
I'm working a honey jar spell for me and my guy friend we're not yet committed just yet still in the in between stages. i was burning my red candle today its Monday and near the end of the candle I decided to say one last prayer and focus on my desires while the candle burned. While doing this i noticed the candle started to grow smaller and smaller. I also kind of felt my self starting to float a bit while sitting in front of the flame.

I'm confused I thought by doing this you are feeding energy to the candle not taking it away. anyone have any answers on this? and can you reopen jar spells im pretty content with mines but i got a pair of his boxers and i wanted to add that to the jar as well

The candle burned out in 5 days, no strange activity, the ridges all melted away. The candle isn't as clear as I would like, it still looks a little foggy in places but no black smoke. SHould I burn another one?
