Hello from far away

Unread post by liminalSister » Mon Apr 15, 2013 4:10 pm

Hello Everyone!

My name is Madeleine. I want to connect with other practitioners here and learn from you all. I have been involved with some form of "magick" or the "occult" since I was a teenager. I live overseas now but I grew up in the American South (Atlanta and Savannah). Over the years I have explored and incorporated various elements from western magick into my own practice. I suppose I identify as a seer / rootworker / hedgewitch if I were pressed to put a name to my personal praxis. I feel a strong sense of guidance as I move forward in my continuing education and explorations. I focus mainly on my own direct spirit work and goetic magic. I spend a lot of time working with my French grimoires and crossroads spirits as well as devotional work to Hekate. I have a connection with a few of the Pomba Gira and I have spent some time in Brazil with practitioners of Quimbanda and Candomble. I enjoy keeping a herb garden where I tend to various plants which I render into oils, tinctures, and a personal specialty, flavored chocolate skulls :) I too, like many others here, hope to enter the correspondence course and I have been learning all I can in the process.
I am really happy to meet you all and I look forward to getting to know the forum :)

A few months ago I was lucky to be visiting San Francisco so my partner and I made the trip up to Lucky Mojo. What a beautiful store! What a lovely group of people. It was a cold day but we felt so warm, it was hard to leave :)

Warmly
Madeleine
